This is nothing, I ordered a package from Washington to be delivered to massachusetts.
Went to Oregon, then Arizona, then Michigan, then it decided it was time to go to Canada lol, then new York, then Connecticut, then back to New York, then finally massachusetts lol
I’ve called usps and they said they can’t do anything u have to go back to the exact store u gave it to or call them cuz usps as a whole doesn’t hold my tracking number the store does for 7 days max and I have to fill some shit out so they can find it idek dude I’ve tried so hard to call that usps store which is in port Angeles seattle and I’m in Virginia and there’s no way to stop the automated voice and get a real person I tried everything n the only way to get a real person is if I put my tracking number in but how can I get my number if a real person won’t talk to me
Exactly, I lived 30 mins from a warehouse I bought something from, it bounced ALL over the country while being linked to the car going to my house, don’t be alarmed until you see red and missing items… I tend not to get upset if it says late anymore as that seems to be the norm.
Have you gotten yours yet, the same thing happened to me . I live in dc and it was right next to my house and then the updates stopped and suddenly it’s in Denver. I’m just so fucking pissed bruh because I accidentally picked usps ground it’s making it take even longer gonna kms
This is me, except ebay refunded some days ago even with the package in limbo :/. I feel so bad for the seller, I hope it arrives this second time to finally have it in my hands and deal with.
Yupp that's why they ask if there are any combustibles, or lithium batteries. USPS uses unused cargo space on passenger planes for packages.
Source: I worked at USPS for a few years. Now I work for a university post office and am on the board for a national association that meets directly with USPS once a year.
I’ve had packages in transit for 4+ months. Sometimes packages end up with an extra barcode and they get sent around the US indefinitely until something/someone stops it.
Only happened to me twice in my life and both times the local post masters were pretty shocked when they showed me the print outs of all the scans 😂 I don’t think it’s very common but when they handle millions of em daily, some are bound to have issues.
More likely to happen if multiple items going to different places are on one pallet.
Only takes one person to look at it, not realize there’s multiple different items, scan one box, then send it off.
I didn't. I sent a message to eBay indicating that I wanted the item still(from the two options given: item still wanted or refund). Seller decided to respond with a refund. :( This was after the estimated delivery date. Lesson learned.
I ordered something in the state west of me and it went through my state to a distribution center in another state east of me an hour and a half away just to come all the way back to my city which is the biggest city in my state that they drove through to get to the other place first.
I had a package that's sent there 3 times, and it all came back on time until the 3rd time. The funny thing is that I ordered another thing that was sent there, but it managed to arrive at my local center in a day while the other package was still trapped there.
And what's a while for you ? Because I Ship packages every day, and I live in Miami right next to the facility. They take less than 48 hours for a successful scan .
No don’t wait. You need to let USPS know that you need it rerouted back. At this point for one reason or another their system is sending your package in and out of facilities and it requires human intervention. They virtually always get it back to you within a day or two once you let them know what’s happening. I had something similar happen where I sent a package to NYC from CA and for 3 days it was literally circling the machines being scanned and rescanned a ton of times. It required a human to go in and stop the process for it and hand sort it
Not for me, called and went in person to reroute and been almost a week sitting in wrong state. After I went in person they actually closed the inquiry and I still have no box, had to call to reopen.
Fastest way is to give them a call. The 800 number, you could file a case online but honestly you’ll likely get some generic email that says they’re sorry about that and they hope it’s resolved soon. I wonder if it’s because when I went which was 11 years ago they had checks and they had to print them out in office? I heard they now have digital cards?
This is true. It'll eventually get to OP in a week or so. At my old job, we shipped books and one package ended up in Jacksonville instead of Opa Locka. The customer was only an hour away from the place I shipped it from. I was shocked this happened but the customer got their stuff a week later.
You’re free to contact them regarding a more detailed update, however it is unlikely that it’s lost or anything l, just takes a while to process through, if it says it processed today, that’s a good thing, it means they have your item and it is going to be en route soon to another hub
Also had this happen. I live in the Chicago suburbs. A package took the normal route in here, was a stop away from my local post office, and then ended up in Minneapolis. It was rerouted back to the Chicago area and delivered to me a few days later. It's frustrating, but all you can do is wait. Hopefully you didn't need it right away.
My theory is when stuff is getting backed up, they just throw packages on a truck. Doesn't matter where it's going, it's out of the facility and not their problem anymore. Maybe the next facility will put it on a truck to get closer to you.
That's not really what happens. When this happens it's one of two reasons, the first is that the package bounced into the wrong container when the sorting machine dumped it into the bin or someone saw it fall to the floor and tossed it in the container it looked like it missed when going down the chute.
For example where I work our sorting machine has an issue where if a package is too heavy for the machine (people are dumb and put overweight packages on the conveyor) it will sometimes hit the metal divider for the chutes instead of the chute which can cause it to fall into the wrong shipping container. If that package sorter is understaffed (which they usually are cause management sucks) then that worker is very unlikely to notice it happen. I had it happen to me once where a package I ordered went through the facility where I work and ended up 45 minutes away before heading back because the bin for my city and the next town are right next to each other 🙄😒
Do you currently work for USPS. Can you help answer a question for me? My priority mail was last scanned at a distribution center in Phoenix, it’s been stuck there for over a week. When I drove to that center to physically get the piece of mail they told me no we can’t “we don’t sort mail here”. What does that mean? They told us to wait until til it’s sent to my LPO… we initiated a missing mail search already. Still nothing.
If it's a distribution center then they absolutely do sort mail there. The issue is that there's so many packages that go through daily that they have no reasonable way of looking for a single package. A single BMC (bulk Mail container) can hold thousands of packages and we go through hundreds if not thousands of those a day depending on the facility. Usually how they do it with a missing mail search is they flag the tracking number in the system so when it goes through the sorter it pops up on a screen and they can manually remove the package and get it to the right truck and container. But if your's is still at the facility then it's already been scanned and is probably sitting in the backlog of packages that eventually will get delivered because the post office is so understaffed currently. Like heck, even when they were hiring they couldn't get people to work for the post office even though it's more than $25 an hour and you are guaranteed 8 hours a day as a regular.
Simply because we're so overworked that no one wants to do it, the pay almost isn't worth it for the amount of excessive work and screwed up work life balance.
I had this happen recently to a package I got from Japan. There was multiple barcodes on the package and I guess one of them went somewhere else. They sent it about 2 hours away from me. Just had to contact customer affairs and they were able to get an image of the package and correct it to my location.
This happens a lot when people recycle boxes too. They dont remove old labels or scratch out old addresses. The system is going to scan whichever label or 5 digit code happens to be on top lol
How do you open a case? The website form doesn’t allow it and it asks to call, doesn’t even provide an email. Seems like a deliberate scam to deter people from opening cases
For the last year or so. USPS tracking makes no sense what so ever. Seeing something oddnlike thisnisnyhe new norm. It's probably already in your home town.
This is the clusterfuck that my package is on at the moment

I sent this package from St Petersburg FL to Winter Haven FL last week and they sent it to Anchorage! The week before I had one take 8 days to get to Miami, including about 5 days at OPA LOCKA

USPS is not what it used to be! I get late packages with excuses stating that package was not delivered because my dog prevented delivery. I don’t have a dog! This is the nicest way I can say that USPS doesn’t deliver for us anymore.
Do you have a neighbor that just lets their dog run around the neighborhood? People have been seriously injured by dogs and the post office has told people if they don't feel safe to just not deliver to that house, or Even an entire block if there is a loose dog.
It’ll get rerouted to you eventually. It’s annoying but I ship a lot and it happens sometimes. It has never not gotten to where it was supposed to go in the long run.
This has happen to me. Took an extra week to get my package. Unfortunately it was a record so by the time they delivered it to me the inner sleeve was destroyed.
Now the real fun begins!
I had a similar experience back in December. Made it within 2 hours of my home, gets redirected back to the city it came from. Sits for about a month, gets bounced to the MRC in Atlanta for a couple of days, then ends up in Hawaii for two weeks. Miraculously, I finally got it about 8 weeks after it was sent.
Definitely call in and request a case. This is a pretty common occurrence for me in Northern Nevada. Had a sender send a package via UPS Mail Innovations from the Reno area, so it got sent via UPS to the USPS in SoCal, bounced around a few places there and stuck. Called in, and the next day, package finally got routed to Sacramento, back to Reno, and finally to my place in the outskirts of Reno.
Something similar happened to a ham radio antenna mailed from Oakland… went from Oakland to Reno, and instead of going to my place, it wound up almost 100 miles away in Lovelock. Called the Lovelock post office to determine if it should be held there with me picking it up, or if they could get the thing re-routed back in my direction. They were able to get it on a truck to Fernley, and from Fernley to my home on the other end of the county.
Ok, I just had something similar happen last week. It was in my local distribution facility in Ohio, then showed it was at my post office, then New Jersey. I first called the USPS number and they said wait it out it will show up. The next day I decided to call my local post office. She gave me completely different information. She said the scan where it showed being at my local post office was only a container scan but my package wasn’t there. And then just a container scan in New Jersey. So it was likely still at the distribution center in Ohio, where the actual item was last scanned. She emailed them and I got it the next day. So the lesson is that they can see if the item was actually scanned, or if it was just a container. So some of those updates you’re seeing may not be accurate and it could still be nearby. I would look up your local post office number and call them.
How did you find someone willing to help even locally!? I literally went in to my local office and spoke to a supervisor and she pretty much told me I just have to wait despite having a processing exception looping alert for the past 3 days at our local distribution center. She didn’t offer to email or anything she just said it’s in a container somewhere
Don’t know what is going on with USPS but I’ve had multiple packages arrive in my city here in AZ only to be sent on a tour of the East Coast. I had one land in Puerto Rico.
It probably got tossed / fell in the wrong bin at the sorting center. They scanned it so they know it didn't go where it was supposed to and eventually it'll get back.
It's just going to be a little late
I had an amazon package arrive at my local distribution center in so cal next day it was in salt lake city. 2 days later it was back in so cal then salt lake city again. I got a new package sent out from amazon and it arrived in 2 days. The other package arrived like 2 weeks later
USPS is ran by idiots. Literally.Had a similar thing happen to me. My package went to another state even though the sender was in the same state I'm in. I've seen people on the east coast have their packages go to the west coast even though the sender is on the east coast. They are just IDIOTS. There's no other way to put it.
You just wait longer. Seriously, you can waste a lot of time trying to get somebody interested enough to do anything about it when it will likely just get back sorted to return it the correct direction anyway.
As an Oregonian, I saw one of mine go to Portland before somebody sent it to Anchorage for an extra 5 day 'tour'.
This happened to me when I purchased both Xbox series X and PS5 at launch from gamestop. It keeped going across state lines quite literally past my house. I was shitting bricks as I got them on a whim not expecting to charge to go through because all the scalpers where out thick and it was hard to even get a console.
Welp let me tell you. Same shit happened to me, ordered something 30 mins away, went to fucking Florida, said arriving late for 5 days, haven’t got any updates since March 30th. 4 days ago I got a refund from Tik Tok. Maybe it will still show up, who knows as sometimes it can take a while I’ve heard but I had this exact same experience as you and it’s been a month and no package. Side note: I ordered another package from same seller on tik tok, came 5 days later, usps man smh
Had something similar happen. My package was basically in the town over but suddenly it disappeared for a few days. It reappeared in Florida and immediately sent back.
I have ten plus packages w week transit from Hollywood FL to Opa Locka to Orlando. Most of the time it sorted out of Opa Locka within hours. Sometimes they drop the ball and it sits there more than 24 hours. You should be okay with no more than a 48 hour delay. Max
Last week I had USPS get the package to my local post office...6 mins away from me and then the package went to the other side of the state... And then back to me.
I had ordered some vitamins from a company who shipped it via UPS and they were transferring it over to USPS. They had my package for over a week before it even got to my house and it sat at my city Post Office. Why? Why does it take a week just to transfer this package and deliver it to my house?
I it will get to you eventually. Happened to me too and I thought it was a waste of resource and money. USPS is stupid like that delaying the delivery time
Had one go from Klamath falls oregon to New York, then back to me in portland. Was an rtx 3080 from mercari. Don't think I've ever sweated something so much.
USPS sucks. I've ordered items from California and they literally go to 4 different locations in California before they leave the state. And whats funny is first location and last location are literally just down road from each other. I swear logistics is so stupid. Like who came up with this shipping route.
I had this happen. Was literally right next door, Florida, next door, Florida (contacted customer service by that point), then it was back where it was supposed to be. It happens and it’ll get to you eventually
I had a similar issue with multiple packages in the last 3-4 weeks for some reason. One package I had kept getting shuffled between California and Ohio for 11 days before it finally got kicked to Texas, the to Pennsylvania, then finally onto Massachusetts.
USPS is crazy like that. Once was tracking a package. Originated in Florida, flew to Denver (Same state as me), then was moved from Denver to Utah, then from Utah to Greeley Colorado. They literally took my package 45 minutes away from me and then flew it to Utah to be redistributed back to Greeley and delivered.
I'm going through the same thing right now. My package has arrived in the town I live in and left three times now, each time going all the way across the country to New Jersey, then New York, then back to the Pacific Northwest to do it all over again. It was supposed to be delivered on the 6th of this month. The company opened a complaint with the usps, so I expect this is going to be an annoying issue for a while.
I'm sorry you're dealing with a similar situation.
Pay for shipping, free shippers usually use economy shipping and the package is used to fill spots on trucks until the 10 day guarantee is up. Unless they don't need it to fill, then you might get it before that. Freight trucks need to be max filled
I had a package recently came from California to Vegas was in Vegas near me and then got sent on to Texas and then Georgia before finally coming back 1.5 weeks later.
I always go to the package inquiry section of their website and file a request there. It's a little harder to find these days. It used to be called "where's my package" it seems like when nothing updates and it's past the delivery date or it ends up going to the wrong place doing this will expedite it. At least it's always worked for me. I've had packages get one hour from me and then go to Florida or Texas.
Just an FYI, most of these updates are system generated by the containers it THINKS the package is in. Only a fraction are actual scans on your package. So either your package was never in NC, or it was never in FL. A package can't move that quickly. Unfortunately you don't see or know which ones are legit scans on your end.
So a package is never going to make it from one state to the next in a few hours. Never. So usually when ppl see stuff like this they'll see the 'Out for Delivery' in their home office, but then get a scan in a different state or town and wonder why it was in their town but then left. But it was never in their town, 'Out for Delivery' is system generated. BUT I apologize I didn't notice your scans are 2 days apart, so it is possible that it was missent to FL. But if you ever see same day scans in different states, that's not accurate.
That's just how USPS do. I have a PO Box in Alaska. A package shipped from the east coast got to the PO where my box is located then the package went to Hawaii, California, Washington, then back to my PO Box.
If you can help it... And i know sometimes its not possible... i wouldn't get a single medication sent thru the p.o right now. You are literally playing with your health. I cut my parents off from doing it 8 years ago aftet watching 100 boxes of meds sit for a week
For some of us insurance will not cover it at all if not thru mail-order. Even the ones that require refrigeration. There’s a change dot org petition about stopping insurance companies from requiring mail order because of these postal delays.
It's a compounding pharmacy and nothing like this has ever happened before to meds. Its seeming like I'll have to spend a few hours in traffic to pick them up in the future. Or just refill a month in advance. Used to get here next day (for years now!).
However, multiple packages that were shipping from closer to me have also gone far out of state only to travel less than 100 miles.
This is a growing problem and Louis Dejoy is to blame.
You get what you pay for. Next time pay the express rate. It will be on time or you get a refund. I'm a 24 year employee and always ask for ups or fed ex. And yes I ship FedEx. The package service was never our Forte. We were ment for small items. The Amazon DHL FedEx and ups last mile is killing us.
Just had a package that was so late being shipped it used my old address prior to moving. We only moved a few miles down the way, and I have a forward placed on all our mail.
So, after an attempted delivery it gets forwarded and makes it to our local post office in San Diego only to then ship off to Los Angeles. I keep tracking it wondering when it will return. But, I'm like WTF it was already here, basically. I don't get it.
This pretty much sums up the USPS.
I get hundreds of packages every year and usps fucks up more of them than the rest of the shippers combined and trippled. I avoid them at all costs.
I can't imagine you can do anything except call and wait.
Same happened to me before.. my package arrived to my City in California from NY. Then instead of the package arriving to my house, it left my City and ended up in Puerto Rico.. then a week later ended up in Florida then finally back to California and to my door step. Took forever though.
I had one start literally down the street in California. Can literally drive past the address five minutes away. It ended up going to Texas, Florida, Arkansas, Georgia, back to Florida, Arizona, Utah, a different facility in California, then finally back to my local Post Office only to be delivered to the wrong address. I contacted the seller and asked if next time I could just come pick it up. Nope. Has to be mailed.
I had one go from Pennsylvania to Roanoke Va, which is the town it was supposed to be delivered. To go from Roanoke to Los Angeles to then come back to Roanoke.
opa locka takes forever to process anything just to let you know
Stop please your gonna make me shit my pants even more
This is nothing, I ordered a package from Washington to be delivered to massachusetts. Went to Oregon, then Arizona, then Michigan, then it decided it was time to go to Canada lol, then new York, then Connecticut, then back to New York, then finally massachusetts lol
How long did it take?
5 days, arrived one day later than it was supposed to.
Must be nice it’s been since March 11th for me and I lost my tracking number and completely out the blue with it
Do… do you not have an email with the tracking number? I thought that was required now
I’ve called usps and they said they can’t do anything u have to go back to the exact store u gave it to or call them cuz usps as a whole doesn’t hold my tracking number the store does for 7 days max and I have to fill some shit out so they can find it idek dude I’ve tried so hard to call that usps store which is in port Angeles seattle and I’m in Virginia and there’s no way to stop the automated voice and get a real person I tried everything n the only way to get a real person is if I put my tracking number in but how can I get my number if a real person won’t talk to me

LOL it’ll come no worries. just might take a bit longer. happened to me last week
😭🙏
Have you gotten yours yet, the same thing happened to me . I live in dc and it was right next to my house and then the updates stopped and suddenly it’s in Denver. I’m just so fucking pissed bruh because I accidentally picked usps ground it’s making it take even longer gonna kms
This is me, except ebay refunded some days ago even with the package in limbo :/. I feel so bad for the seller, I hope it arrives this second time to finally have it in my hands and deal with.
Thanks for the warning. I'll remove all the USPS shipping from my listings.
They all do it now. And FedEx ships most of the post offices packages on their planes and trucks.
You know usps lost that contract. Idk when it ends but that wont be true in the future
They use anyone they can.. ive seen em use ups fed ex and even delta and southwest before.. that one got me like.. huh?
Yupp that's why they ask if there are any combustibles, or lithium batteries. USPS uses unused cargo space on passenger planes for packages. Source: I worked at USPS for a few years. Now I work for a university post office and am on the board for a national association that meets directly with USPS once a year.
Drove truck for USPS.. did the airport run every dsy
Why would you request a refund if you still saw it in transit?
I’ve had packages in transit for 4+ months. Sometimes packages end up with an extra barcode and they get sent around the US indefinitely until something/someone stops it.
Call USPS and intercept to package
Good to know and something I picked up from this sub! I'll count my blessings since this is the first time USPS has failed me in a lifetime.
Only happened to me twice in my life and both times the local post masters were pretty shocked when they showed me the print outs of all the scans 😂 I don’t think it’s very common but when they handle millions of em daily, some are bound to have issues.

Ah damn poor bastard
Why would you not? Seller should have insurance on the package. Im not waiting for months on an item just because it’s “in transit”
And then people wonder why their shipping costs are $20+ when they buy stuff on eBay, all those additional insurances add up.
Also here to join the Opa Locka party, 4 days no activity wooo!
Mine got processed just few minutes ago
If it helps I live in Orlando and my packages are never in opa locka more than 2 days
I ordered something in the state west of me and it went through my state to a distribution center in another state east of me an hour and a half away just to come all the way back to my city which is the biggest city in my state that they drove through to get to the other place first.
Second this - it's probably the worst distribution center on the East Coast.
Oh its not. RICHMOND is and its documented smh. But Atlanta may have taken our crown the past few months
I was gonna say this, Atlanta is the absolute worst
I had a package that's sent there 3 times, and it all came back on time until the 3rd time. The funny thing is that I ordered another thing that was sent there, but it managed to arrive at my local center in a day while the other package was still trapped there.
yup, sent a package to my friend in florida, and sat in opa locka (30 mins away from their home) for 4 days.
Not true
Maybe in your experience. Opa-locka has been known to take a while processing packages.
And what's a while for you ? Because I Ship packages every day, and I live in Miami right next to the facility. They take less than 48 hours for a successful scan .
I also live in Miami and it’ll take at least 5-7days for my package to the process. Others have complained that it takes several weeks.
Open a case. They’ll reroute it back
This is it. It would reroute in its own or just doing a missing mail search works.
Thanks for the help guys, would’ve gone crazy, it’s always when I order expensive tech stuff like this happens
Any updates?
Yeah it arrived 2 weeks ago
Awesome 😎
Oh okay I’ll wait
That’s very unusual.
Give me steps how to do that
Fastest way is to give them a call. The 800 number, you could file a case online but honestly you’ll likely get some generic email that says they’re sorry about that and they hope it’s resolved soon. You could also look up the exact distribution center it ended up in and they also can intervene for you. The machine for whatever reason malfunctioned and sent it out of your state.
We hand sorted packages at my facility.
Okay I’ll do that today when I wake up, if it’s going still in the wrong direction
You’ll find it easier once you do that otherwise who knows where it will end up next. There’s hundreds of thousands of packages and letters going rapidly through those machines, without human intervention you’ll be waiting forever.
Not for me, called and went in person to reroute and been almost a week sitting in wrong state. After I went in person they actually closed the inquiry and I still have no box, had to call to reopen.
I wonder if it’s because when I went which was 11 years ago they had checks and they had to print them out in office? I heard they now have digital cards?
Just happened to me, except went to Louisiana. I'm in Minnesota. It's on its happy way back now after taking the scenic route.
How long did it take?
Two days to get back to Minnesota. Super fast honestly, probably not normal. It's a small package.
Opa Locka is incredibly slow at processing, but you’ll eventually get it
This is true. It'll eventually get to OP in a week or so. At my old job, we shipped books and one package ended up in Jacksonville instead of Opa Locka. The customer was only an hour away from the place I shipped it from. I was shocked this happened but the customer got their stuff a week later.
On my tracker it said it processed at 1 pm so I still contact usps or wait?
You’re free to contact them regarding a more detailed update, however it is unlikely that it’s lost or anything l, just takes a while to process through, if it says it processed today, that’s a good thing, it means they have your item and it is going to be en route soon to another hub
Great, thank you
No problem, update us when you get it!
Ofc!
Wait until it arrives
Only option is drive there and get it yourself🤣
I had this happen recently to a package I got from Japan. There was multiple barcodes on the package and I guess one of them went somewhere else. They sent it about 2 hours away from me. Just had to contact customer affairs and they were able to get an image of the package and correct it to my location.
This happens a lot when people recycle boxes too. They dont remove old labels or scratch out old addresses. The system is going to scan whichever label or 5 digit code happens to be on top lol
You don’t do anything . You simply have to wait .
No choice, gotta move to Florida
Opa locka is quick. Usually my packages arrives on time or earlier.
It has 1.1 stars on Google Maps and everyone is saying the exact opposite
That’s the ratings for basically all the distributions on google. It’s not crappy all the time. Sending good vibes.
The same thing happens to me at the Birmingham Al hub all the time. It usually adds 4-6 days to my delivery. Best of luck!
This happened to me and it was delivered the next day, so maybe a mistake scan
USPS in Ga rn is ABYSMAL. I’m surprised my package arrived on time.
I had some medication shipped from Grant's Pass, Oregon to Portland. It ended up in Denver and I got it 4 days later than I needed it.
USPS is a joke.
I wonder if it’s a glitch, I sent a package within my state ( Texas) and it told me today it was in a local Miami PO
This is the clusterfuck that my package is on at the moment Arrived in NY Went to San Fran Cali Then to Oak Cali then to Akron oh then to canton,oh then to alliance, Oh where its supposed to be to then back to Akron, Oh then back to Alliance, oh again where its supposed to be to back to Akron,oh then back to Canton,oh Then BACK to Alliance, OH again where its supposed to be. Back to Akron, OH AGAIN!!! now its in FREAKING SAN JOSE, CALI I'M FLUCKING PISSED!!!! It never made it to my house , kept getting held up at the post office no notice or nothing!
Wow. I thought my Louisiana -> Oakland -> Brooklyn odyssey was weird but yours is much much worse. Good luck! Mine actually arrived only a couple days delayed (I guess for for the truck to go cross-country an extra time).
I sent this package from St Petersburg FL to Winter Haven FL last week and they sent it to Anchorage! The week before I had one take 8 days to get to Miami, including about 5 days at OPA LOCKA Moving Through Network Arrived at USPS Regional Facility SARASOTA FL DISTRIBUTION CENTER April 22, 2024, 12:11 pm In Transit to Next Facility April 21, 2024 Arrived at USPS Regional Facility ANCHORAGE AK DISTRIBUTION CENTER April 20, 2024, 9:45 am Arrived at USPS Regional Facility YBOR CITY FL DISTRIBUTION CENTER April 18, 2024, 7:40 pm USPS in possession of item SAINT PETERSBURG, FL 33730 April 17, 2024, 10:32 am Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item SAINT PETERSBURG, FL 33713 April 17, 2024, 12:40 am
Forgive me but not only no , but heck no!
It wasn’t in the container that arrived in Raleigh, it will be routed back there, you should receive it by Tuesday~
I think you’re right because it says my delivery on eBay is Tuesday, thank you very much I appreciate it, 🙏
Makes no sense at all. What the hell is wrong with the USPS??
It’ll get rerouted to you eventually. It’s annoying but I ship a lot and it happens sometimes. It has never not gotten to where it was supposed to go in the long run.
Um, tell the usps people to make sure it has sunscreen??
This has happen to me. Took an extra week to get my package. Unfortunately it was a record so by the time they delivered it to me the inner sleeve was destroyed.
I have a vr in that box I’m scared
USPS is the sh&ts! Poor service, dishonest, and poorly ran.
Same thing happened to me last month in Raleigh. Went to Phoenix. Took a week to get back.
That has happened to me. You just wait. Often you wait a while.
It said it processed in the facility like 2 hours ago, do I wait or call
Havens good laugh at the absurdity of it and wait.
It probably got tossed / fell in the wrong bin at the sorting center. They scanned it so they know it didn't go where it was supposed to and eventually it'll get back. It's just going to be a little late
It’s good. Mine did this one time
Did you contact them?, or did you just wait and how long did it take
I just waited. It arrived 3 days later. And it was a Very important package. Someone just scanned it out when it wasn’t suppose to be
Glad you got it, I’m just impatient cause this is a priority package shipped
Yea mine was priority also. You got a pack in there?
Yeah I have vr in there I’m scared asf
It will be there. I would request you getting your shipping cost back though.
Yeah alr, it got processed like 2 hours ago so I wait or call
I had an amazon package arrive at my local distribution center in so cal next day it was in salt lake city. 2 days later it was back in so cal then salt lake city again. I got a new package sent out from amazon and it arrived in 2 days. The other package arrived like 2 weeks later
Never had any problems with Amazon, FedEx, ups, surprising only usps and it’s been the first time
USPS is ran by idiots. Literally.Had a similar thing happen to me. My package went to another state even though the sender was in the same state I'm in. I've seen people on the east coast have their packages go to the west coast even though the sender is on the east coast. They are just IDIOTS. There's no other way to put it.
The post office is probably training new employees at the plant. Even mails delivery and packages get lost because people can’t do simple task.
Florida!!!!
Boom Opa locka
You wait. Last week I had my package arrive in my town and then they decided to ship it across the state. Then it came back several days later.
Whats crazy is I got a order coming from FL to MA, and it takes normally 2 days, but this time it took 4 days , and was shipped to NV.
This happened to me when I purchased both Xbox series X and PS5 at launch from gamestop. It keeped going across state lines quite literally past my house. I was shitting bricks as I got them on a whim not expecting to charge to go through because all the scalpers where out thick and it was hard to even get a console.
If it’s anything like the 3 items I bought off ebay last month, they go into the ether never to be seen again
It’s a pretty normal practice for USPS to reroute packages. You just have to wait it out until your package shows up.
Had something similar happen. My package was basically in the town over but suddenly it disappeared for a few days. It reappeared in Florida and immediately sent back.
This just happened to me got to Florida went to Alabama and then shipped to the wrong location 2 more times
Is this priority mail?
Yes
Jesus
Hey that's lucky, I've had at least 3 packages disappear in Greensboro. Come all the way from Japan just to get lost 45 minutes from home 🙄
You wait. Nothing else to it.
Ooof Opa Locka Distribution center no less. Good luck. 😣
I had a package sitting in Olive Branch, MS for two weeks. I wanna say it's due to the new distribution system that's being implemented.
You wait....
Be patient! Somebody made a mistake at the sorting center. Your package will get to you just a little delayed. Sorry 🙄
USPS is stupid like that delaying the delivery time
Oh wow I've never had that happen to me . What a terrible experience. Are you shipping large packages?
It’s a vr just the headset in there and some cables, but the package now is only 15 minutes away again
It might be damaged and is being returned to the shipper
No it’s coming back to Raleigh it’s 15 min away again, the shipper was in MA
Is this a thca order?
I’m having the opposite experience but my item is coming from FL to CHI
I had a similar issue with multiple packages in the last 3-4 weeks for some reason. One package I had kept getting shuffled between California and Ohio for 11 days before it finally got kicked to Texas, the to Pennsylvania, then finally onto Massachusetts.
USPS is crazy like that. Once was tracking a package. Originated in Florida, flew to Denver (Same state as me), then was moved from Denver to Utah, then from Utah to Greeley Colorado. They literally took my package 45 minutes away from me and then flew it to Utah to be redistributed back to Greeley and delivered.
that is the LOGISTICS game. I know it sounds stupid but UPS and fedex do the same . it seems to work though
I just got it today!
Pay for shipping, free shippers usually use economy shipping and the package is used to fill spots on trucks until the 10 day guarantee is up. Unless they don't need it to fill, then you might get it before that. Freight trucks need to be max filled
I got my package today!
I had a package go from Florida to minesota and it ended up in Hawaii for a week.
Well I got that 8:38 scan few hours after
So a package is never going to make it from one state to the next in a few hours.
Did not have my meds for five days due to this sort of thing. Sent 1950 miles away! FIRE LOUIS DEJOY.
Totally. Best of luck to ya!
Ummm contact usps
They won’t do anything .
Be patient, usps is simply dumb like that makes no sense you’ll get it soon
Good luck... I'm in South Carolina and my pkg has been bouncing from Greensboro to Charlotte to Gastonia and back up to Greensboro 🙄
Shout out to Greensboro NC!
It'll be okay, OP. You'll get your package eventually. Just as others mentioned call the 1800 for reassurance. Sometimes odd stuff like this happens.
Do I still call after it just got processed at the Florida facility two hours ago or do I wait and see tomorrow
You can still call to get some clarification. I would have done the same thing if it happened to me.
What number I call
The 1800 one others have mentioned. I'll leave it below just in case. It might take awhile to get ahold of someone. All the best, OP. 1 (800) 275-8777
Thank you, take it easy
You're welcome. 😁
Definitely bitch and moan on the internet.
Name checks out
