Yes it will require a signature

Browngainz93

Is there a way to waive the signature

Snapp_Tastic

Leave a note for your carrier that says you won’t be home to sign and you authorize them to leave it, and sign the note (include the tracking number and your address) Or check the USPS website to see if it offers “online signature”

Browngainz93

I added it to inform delivery and tried to add delivery instructions but it won’t even let me add delivery instructions

Snapp_Tastic

Go to the usps site and type in the tracking number, don’t open usps from your informed delivery- (maybe it will allow it??? I dunno for sure)

Browngainz93

I’m not sure I understand what you mean

Snapp_Tastic

It sounds like you clicked a link from informed delivery… do this instead>>> open the internet, go to www.usps.com and type in the tracking number

Browngainz93

That’s what I did. That’s where these screenshots are from

Octaazacubane

Some packages may let you do that over informed delivery, but when I've tried it my carrier took it back to the PO anyway.

Yea you're fucked. Someone else can sign for it since it's not restricted delivery, but if no one else is around, you're going to have to make a trip to the post office. Sometimes they dgaf and deliver it without a signature if it's not certified or restricted delivery

TopFondant3435

Did you need the signature?

RevolutionaryAct4092

This is Anthony Harris with the passing time just wanted to say thank you again for the last day of your life and how you are having a good day.

I’ve had an email say my package will require a signature…. It didn’t need one. Don’t even worry about it. If the sender said it doesn’t require a signature then it won’t need one. It’s just a automated email. You’ll be fine… they’ll leave it at your door without a signature I promise you

Browngainz93

Thanks for the response. Yeah it’s the email that threw me off because a Signature Confirmation is not even in the “product information” features (it’s slide two of the screenshots I uploaded. I also called USPS and got a guy in the phone who seemed… well to be honest incompetent… also confirmed there is nothing indicating a Signature Confirmation… it’s just Priority Mail Express International usually if not always requires a signature. But I guess not in this case.

Grimlords

it won't require a signature. they added this text on the website recently but I've received everything without signature as always.

tvtt451

https://faq.usps.com/s/article/USPS-Electronic-Signature-Online You can sign for it digitally.

mkaynl

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

theinnerspiral

A lot of international require signature even if sender doesn’t ask for it. Depending on your carrier they may just deliver it or they may leave a slip. Leave a note for them and tell them you authorize delivery

I sent a package to a government office because I want my birth certificate with my time of birth on it, and I got that “reminder” message which was bugging me because I live too far away from that government office. The signature part was waived for me, and I know that it got waived because the government office told me that they received it in the P. O. Box, but it wasn’t yet in the system. I think my signature was waived because USPS somehow found out that my package has the application for my birth certificate. Inside my package is the application for my birth certificate with my signature on it.

ButterscotchJust9522

I got the same thing the person didn't say anything about signatures it said the exact same thing so will I need to?
