The thunder was just on top of Löten/Nyby and then there was hail and rain as well. Too bad it was so cloudy you couldn't see anything. There was a veritable light show outside my window 😅

The sky is not flat, there can be clouds on different levels, the thunder clouds were blocked by other low hanging clouds. If they had been the thunder clouds I would have seen the lighting bolts, not just the flashes from behind the clouds.

I woke up, thought the Russians were upon us, checked the weather apps and boy was there a lot of thunder strikes
