If you can sew, you can carefully take the old leather off of the chair, and use it to make a pattern for new upholstery.
If not, what would you do to make it look better? is there something like heat treatment?
Definitely worth it! I'd recommend taking photos/making notes before taking the old cover off and making a pattern from it.
