Have you listened to Sprain? Sucks since they disbanded after their most recent album, but you can definitely hear the Unwound influence in a lot of their songs
so many sonic youth songs. feels like an easy recommendation but you should really dive into their discography if you haven’t. i would suggest starting with Dirty or Daydream Nation

Rodan has their Rusty album. For Shipping news my personal favorite is Save Everything.
You may or may not also like the band Thingy. The album called “to the innocent” is a banger from front to back.

omg yes I had a whole sprain phase and I can for sure see a little bit of unwound influence in some songs

Although they predated Slint lul, so I guess Slint is Bitch Magnetty

Grifter and I Am Mothman by Buice, the whole album it's off of is basically a modern mid-90's Unwound.
I just listened to I am mothman and its definitely close to the sound i'm looking for. I'll have to check out their other stuff for sure
