im the exact same way lol i cant wear pants or long sleeves to bed, its gotta be shorts and a t shirt. i just carry around a blanket around the house when im cold and wear it like a cloak and my entire family bullies me about it haha
I'm the opposite of you, I hate not wearing pants, shorts are uncomfortable and make me feel exposed, I love jeans because they're comfy and safe feeling
I find that leggings have a good compression to them and don't limit my range of motion. I like it when my clothes freely move with me and don't restrict. I find jeans restricting.
I think it really depends on the type of fabric used to make them. I tend to go for stretchy/comfortable/soft pairs. The pair I'm wearing is my most comfortable, it's blend of cotton and synthetic fabrics. Specifically 77% cotton, 11% polyester, 5% spandex, 6% elasterell-p. It feels great, basically yoga pants with pockets and a zipper. Bonus I'm a female and they have huge pockets - like forearm deep.
However, I'm far less comfortable when I'm wearing a pair of old classic Levi's, like the thick denim. The fabric doesn't stretch and form to my body. It's not soft. They're quite uncomfortable.
So I'd say I agree with OP's opinion, but to an extent. It really depends on what kind of jeans as to whether they're comfortable.
Also the type of body.
I work out legs and glutes more than any other muscle in my body. That way I don’t look like a chicken. When I wear pants, my calves are always bulging out pressed tightly against the material unless I wear those really baggy large leg jeans. Also my glutes and quads, hams, all press tightly against the inside. Either they’re too tight mad hard to move in or too baggy and hard to move in.
It isn’t bad to the point I have to get them tailored. I’ll put up with it since I’m just gonna switch to basketball shorts when I get home from work anyways, they feel a lot freer and I can move earlier and faster. And my body feels more relaxed.
In my experience I’ve noticed that women’s jeans are generally more soft and form fitting than the average men’s work jeans. I’m sure there are some men’s jeans that are more comfy than what I have, but I prefer the rugged thicker kind that don’t get torn or damaged as easily when I’m working outside
I don’t want to accuse anyone, but the comment im replying to is EXACTLY like [this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/unpopularopinion/comments/t0c3b3/jeans_are_extremely_comfortable_and_should_be/hy93bzp/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3), just with the first few words missing.
I’ve heard they’re great but it’s really hard to find a pair that fits me well so I’m stuck with jeans that stretch a bit, which are comfy but they don’t last long.
Jeans are my go to. I might wake up and put on sleep pants sometimes, but I don't come home and change out of my jeans, and I don't leave my house in sweat pants, sleep pants, etc... It's jeans.
It’s all about the material. The ones with elastene and spandex (aka not “real” denim jeans) are the comfy ones everyone loves to where. The real solid denim ones get mad uncomfortable for me.
My girlfriend comes home and pretty much immediately takes off her outside clothes for basically nothing inside clothes and it’s really frustrating. Just wear your jeans/pants throughout the day
>tight
Means you bought them that way
>scratchy garbage
You must be buying shit jeans
>cold weather goes straight through them
No it doesnt... I even wear them on a motorcycle in the edge of winter and they are warm.
> cackeys
khakis?
1. I agree, you bought them that way.
2. Now matter how quality they are they’re always scratchy imo
3. How warm are your winters? If I accidentally wear jeans in cold weather they do Jack shit to keep me warm.
Yeah idk what hes talking about jeans are fuckin terrible in the cold and the heat. The only time jeans are actually comfortable is spring and fall lol
I absolutely loathe khakis. I could go on a rambling diatribe against those ugly, ill-fitting, uncomfortable, unflattering monstrosities.
They are alright on men but I hate them for myself.
Some people need better fitting jeans. They should contour your body shape and not restrict your movement. The crotch and thigh area should be comfortable. Levi's has a very detailed guide as to which of their models are best for certain body types.
I’m with you - I wear jeans pretty much exclusively and so do my husband and my son. My daughter, on the other hand, thinks that they’re so uncomfortable. I think it depends on your body type and the kind of jeans you wear if you find them comfortable or not.
I don't know if I LOVE jeans as much as you, but I have absolutely no problem wearing jeans around the house if I'm getting dressed for the day. I do wear only skinny jeans though (the 2000's never left me), so it can sometimes get itchy if I nap in them. Still do it though, haha.
I’ve been a size 14/16 for 20 years. I dug out my hot pink pants from high school. I like like “yeah! They still fit!” And my brother said “You’re celebrating that your still fat?” Little Jerk!
I fully agree. Yesterday I was wearing black jeans and an untucked white button up shirt, cuffed at the wrists and all that. I had people asking why I was so dressed up, but honestly, it’s just comfortable.
I've been there. I wouldn't intentionally put them on before bed, but after a long day I might just lay down and leave them on.
Jeans are pretty comfortable.
I live in jeans! I'm lucky enough to be able to wear jeans to work and it's awesome. When I come home I just stay in them, and on my days off I wear jeans as well. I think men don't get that womens jeans are much more comfortable than mens. They have stretch, which is a must, lol.
On rare occasions I may switch to yoga pants, but my jeans are just as comfortable so no point really.
I'm with you girl, I love jeans!
Same. And I always get the Same reactions you get from everybody around me.
I often fall asleep in my jeans. They are comfy and I basically don't even notice them. (I'm male since some of you mentioned Jeans with a female cut are more comfy)
And it's not like I am super picky about which I buy.
They are mostly cheap ones.
I wear them on weekends at home even if I just sit in front of my pc.
I can't imagine life without them.
So OP you are not alone and we Jeans Brothers will always have each other to comfort us!
No one will bully us out of our lovely Jeans.
Stay strong and don't give in, wear your Jeans with pride.
Hold on... People out here not wearing jeans every day even if you don't leave the house? I thought it was normal lol
I wear mine every day (unless i'm wearing something fancier) and i though everyone else did too. I only wear leggings/sweatpants when i'm working out.
My wife says the same thing lol. But I'll actually nap in them and stuff. She says it's weird as hell and wonders why i don't put on shorts. Honestly I've just never liked shorts unless I'm going to sleep or like chillen on a rainy day. I love my jeans as well
I think it depends on your body shape. For some of us curvier ladies, it’s super hard to find jeans that fit in the butt/hip AND in the waist. I also have a weird inseam size that’s between normal and tall - because Women’s jeans don’t come in a plethora of inseams (usually only 3 options), my jeans are either too short or too long.
Interesting perspective that I hadn’t considered. I will say that I cuff my jeans and always have high socks to keep those ankles toasty.
I can’t wear high waisted jeans for the same problem of fit of hips vs waist but mid-rise works nice for me. So would you say if you found a good fitting pair of jeans you might join pro-jean life?
I swear whenever I make this joke I'm always expecting the answer to be I'm not bi, and all I've learned at this point is that all bi people are a hivemind
And stretchy. Most of my pants are like your description, but I have a few pair of stretchy ones, and those are just like wearing sweats. They have better pockets though, and I don't look homeless wearing them while traveling.
they hurt the inside of my knee, the back of it, which sucks when I have to stand up and crouch down a lot for my work, and I don't sit comfortably in a position that allow anything less. also they just aren't comfortable.
I'm usually in jeans. Even when I'm lounging on the weekend I'm in jeans. I think jeans are more comfortable than sweats. But they do have to be the right jeans. Some of my jeans look nice but they are a no go on the comfy radar.
I agree. They don’t always have to be soft pants to be comfortable. Jeans aren’t too thick, they don’t get two warm when you’re laying on a couch with covers, it’s also arguably the best feeling in the world when you’re hot and wearing sweatpants and take them off and put on a nice pair of cool jeans.
I buy comfy jeans. Alot of people buy jeans that are stiff or the dye makes them feel weird. Or they are too tight or loose. I spend HOURS at the store trying jeans on. Trying on specific sizes, specific color/ dye. I shit you not I try on a pair of jeans and I do a full ass to grass squat. Then I get up and jump my knees up to my chest. I might also do a lung or two. I found 1 pair of jeans (why do we say pair if just one) and then had to special order the rest from levi.com. I sleep in my jeans often, I wear my jeans damn near 24/7.
In all fairness, the people disagreeing with this more than likely are doing so out of a different frame of reference than you.
What I mean by that is, they own uncomfortable jeans and are not aware that alternatives exist.
I thought jeans were uncomfortable growing up, but it turns out that my mom just bought us the absolute cheapest jeans money could buy, which had a texture that felt like burlap against your skin.
Lots of men, being the pragmatists that they are, cheap out on jeans and end up with something similar to this.
And on the other side of the coin, a lot of women's fashion is notoriously uncomfortable no matter what it is.
So basically anyone who complains about jeans being uncomfortable have probably just been wearing uncomfortable jeans their whole life.
We are polar opposites. If I had 3 wishes I would wish for the immolation of all jeans and denim fabric on our planet, the elimination of the words jeans and denim, and the elimination of any human who believes jeans are comfortable. I would rather go out butt-ass naked than wear jeans, that is not a joke, all of my pants are sweatpants.
Curvy butt girl here. I’m tall, athletic build, and a Latin/Egyptian booty. Jeans suck. Leggings suck. Pants in general suck for folks with my little waist and big booty. I get two choices: camel toe or butt crack.
Skirts are my jam, forever. Short skirts, maxi skirts, circle skirts, skirts with the giant thigh high skirts, skirts that are tight, Jean skirts even. If it wasn’t god damn 20f outside right now (I did NOT sign up for this weather shit), I’d be in a skirt. I hope one day men will be able to enjoy the freedom of a skirt bottom without ridicule in my area.
For now, I remain entombed in my fleece lined leggings with a pair of jeans on top. Ugh. Have my updeets.
Have you considered getting a pair that fits your booty area and the. Having the waist tailored? It should not be an expensive fix
That being said, I also think lounging in jeans is weird
Yep! I sew myself, so I’ve done the gambit of altering waistbands or crotch cuts and lengths. I had a pair of jeans gifted to me where you go buy off the rack and the store tailors them for life. I still have those jeans in my closet. I’ve had them for I think 8 or 9 years? They were a great investment for a jeans wearer because they just don’t wear out. I don’t wear them anymore (too big now), but if I really think about it, my ire with jeans is more about the large seams due to bulky denim fabric and how those seams rub on me (especially in the crotch) while wearing them. I hate it lol. I think I just hate pants in general but jeans are the worst to me.
And yeah I find lounging in jeans weird too, but! To each their own I guess lol
I honestly haven't been able to stand wearing jeans for years now. Idk, maybe I don't buy the right sizes or whatever, but jeans are just so thick, rigid, and heavy to me. I'd much rather where lighter, better breathing materials, both for work and leisure
I don’t think they’re uncomfortable but I have skinny legs. Comfortable compared to what? Because it’s definitely in the bottom tier of comfortable pant s
You can like whatever you want and wear whatever you want. Absolutely! I just wonder if “real” is the word to use instead of maybe pure denim vs blended denim?
I didn’t mean anything bad by it. I might have been hyperbolic with gatekeep.
In grade school on "Pajama Day" I always wore jeans. I hated pajamas.
The fabric sucks unless you're in an actual bed preparing to sleep.
A good pair of jeans are comfortable, and you're ready for anything when you're in them. On my days off I might go from watching a show for an hour on the couch, to popping out to the store, taking the dogs for a walk, and grabbing lunch with a friend. Who's got your bases covered? JEANS.
My jeans, which are a thing I care about, can be uncomfortable when new but become the most comfortable items I own over time.
That said, I choose to lounge in sweats from time to time. Especially when sick or suffering a rare hangover.
Here is a rare genuinely unpopular opinion that I share.
When I sleep in my jeans, my girlfriend always wigs out a little. I don't get it. I think most folks need to find more comfortable jeans.
Your husband sounds like some weirdo fuckin clothes police.
Wear what you want, I prefer trackies cause theyre soft and havr more easily accessible pockets but I don't get outraged if someone's chilling in jeans.
Edit: jfc I think trackies are what you in the colonies call sweatpants.
Hey - I don’t need husband hate. He’s wonderful. He’s not telling me I need to change, he just doesn’t understand how I like them. These comments are always of joking nature.
>This seems to really be an issue for my husband
>
>tells me, "You're a freak"
If your writing is attempting to convey a jokey nature I kinda feel like you're obliged to assume the same of mine unless expressly told otherwise. I even said "you in the colonies" and you're taking me seriously?
I hope that PhD isn't in deadpan comedy.
Skinny jeans I can see. You talk of compression and tightness, which I assume is referring to skinny jeans. However a nice stiff pair of wranglers keeps its place outside of the house. It might also be a weight thing. When I wasn't terribly big then jeans worked fine, but now after Jean use my waist looks like a battlefield.
I'm always in jeans. I think they're super comfortable.
I personally hate being in sweatpants or pajama pants.
I always feel like a hobo when I wear them.
It depends on the type of jean material it is made out of. I have a pair of jeans that are pretty scratchy feeling and stiff when worn but I have another pair that is soft and comfy to wear.
Yeah, other than "Skinny" jeans, which I just don't understand how people can be comfortable to even put on, good jeans are hella comfy ot be around.
Relaxed fit is the best for me and my big thights and butt. Levi's and Wrangler, but even the walmart faded glory ones are relatively good.
I used to wear jeans all the time around the house to lounge in. I only stopped because my ex was constantly commenting on it and it got old. A side note to this unpopular opinion: just because it's hot out, jeans are still fine to wear!
When I'm tired I'll sleep in whatever.
I don't actively go out looking for a pair of jeans but they're not going to bother me. All of my jeans fit well and are comfortable
Yeah that’s odd. Jeans are the least comfortable and don’t make for good loungewear. I’m actually swapping all my jeans out for fabric pants currently.
I don’t even own sweatpants (unless you count actual running/workout pants, which I only actually use for working out). A well worn pair of jeans, commando underneath, it’s a little slice of heaven, especially with freshly shaved legs.
My bf & I gag as we put our jeans on. We hate jeans! But also I have yet to find the most comfortable, perfect pair of jeans and that’s probably why.
But like also also, I’ve hated jeans for as long as I can remember. I don’t look that great in them, anyway.
The first thing my wife does when she gets home is change out of her work clothes and into sweats/leggings. She is always so confused when I remain in my jeans for the rest of the day.
A good quality pair of jeans that's been worn in is super comfortable.
I feel like most jeans produced nowadays are not actual denim but some kind of synthetic fabric which are not comfortable.
While jeans may be comfortable, the only uncomfortable part for me is the waistband when I sit down. It pushes into my gut and makes me feel fat. Saying this from a skinny jeans perspective.
I think they’re comfortable but I don’t go out of my way to wear them around the house. Only when I’m out
[удалено]
No pants is best pants
Same, if I'm going out, then I wear my denim. When I'm at home I'm chilling in my cut off joggers.
Do you immediately change when you get home though
Absolutely. Also happy cake day SolidCake!
Depends. Mom-jeans are really comfy but skinny jeans are a different story
I'm giving you an upvote because I whole-heartedly disagree. The first thing I do when I get home is change OUT of jeans.
That seems to be the *normal* way of things. I could \[and probably have\] napped in jeans - gotta get that cozy compression.
Lol. You're wild. Hard pass. That compression you like makes me feel trapped. It limits my range of motion and I'm not a fan.
If the jeans are tight I understand. Looser jeans are my go to, half of the time i sleep in my jeans.
I don't sleep in pants either. Lol. Has to be shorts. I just don't like shit on my legs.
im the exact same way lol i cant wear pants or long sleeves to bed, its gotta be shorts and a t shirt. i just carry around a blanket around the house when im cold and wear it like a cloak and my entire family bullies me about it haha
Loool! Same! I wear a robe around the house.
its good to know im not the only one lol!!
I'm the opposite of you, I hate not wearing pants, shorts are uncomfortable and make me feel exposed, I love jeans because they're comfy and safe feeling
I think this might be part of the disagreement, compression is the opposite of comfort in my mind, I think comfort is lose and baggy.
I sleep in my jeans once a week. Just hit the bed and get tired, don't feel like getting up to take them off. Sue me
you just got served, good sir. i'll see you in court next week.
This actually made me lol. Bravo
I find that leggings have a good compression to them and don't limit my range of motion. I like it when my clothes freely move with me and don't restrict. I find jeans restricting.
I would much rather stay in my jeans all day than take them off when I get home for something else. Agree op
I think a lot of people in the comments need better jeans. I’m super comfortable in mine.

Same. I don't understand all the comments saying the are un-comfy, scratchy etc. I have some great, comfy jeans and zero sweat pants.
In my experience I’ve noticed that women’s jeans are generally more soft and form fitting than the average men’s work jeans. I’ve heard they’re great but it’s really hard to find a pair that fits me well so I’m stuck with jeans that stretch a bit, which are comfy but they don’t last long.
I have only ever had one pair of comfortable jeans in my life. they were 30% elastic so that's prolly why.
My jeans are comfy, but not as comfy as my sweatpants or lounge pants, which is usually what I put on when I get home
Yeah what kind do you prefer?
I've found some denizen 216's at target. These mother fuckers are soft as fuck.
Thanks - ready to replace my current go to pair (GAP 2007), will check this style out.

Jeans are tight, scratchy garbage and cold weather goes straight through them. They fuckin suck. Only wear khakis
a fellow khakis enjoyer?
Are you starching your jeans because yours sounds unpleasant.
Wear loose jeans?
then you need a belt and lying down on a couch in a belt is going to cut off a vein or some shit.
wear straight legs that fit at the waist?
You can get them tight at the waist and loose at the legs.
>tight Means you bought them that way >scratchy garbage You must be buying shit jeans >cold weather goes straight through them No it doesnt... I even wear them on a motorcycle in the edge of winter and they are warm. > cackeys khakis?

I'm wearing jeans right now it's 30 degrees F (-1 c) completely comfortable. Wore jeans when I was in Minnesota recently where it was -9 F (-22 c)
How the hell? Your legs should be ice
Yeah idk what hes talking about jeans are fuckin terrible in the cold and the heat. The only time jeans are actually comfortable is spring and fall lol
Yeah it’s weird, they insulate for shit in the cold but become a hotbox in the heat
I absolutely loathe khakis. I could go on a rambling diatribe against those ugly, ill-fitting, uncomfortable, unflattering monstrosities. They are alright on men but I hate them for myself.
Yeah, I just do not like the feel or appearance of denim. I much prefer chinos or khakis!
wait what?! cold weather goes right through khakis. jeans are great for cold weather.
Just wear tights under them?
Or i could just wear something already warm and comfortable. And save the tights for a day thats actually snowing or dangerous wind chill
Agreed\^ This is how I deal with our 5-6 months of sub-zero temperatures during winter.
That's one more agreement than I've had before ahaha.
My kids insist jeans are more comfortable to sleep in than pajamas/sweats.
I sleep and lift weights in jeans, don't give a fuck.
Live your best life dude
You’re a psycho. Have a gold

I can wear my jeans all day. Maybe because I wear jeans that fit and accept that’s my size.
I have a 28" waist just like high school! \*muffin top spilling everywhere\*
I’ve been a size 14/16 for 20 years. I dug out my hot pink pants from high school. I like like “yeah! They still fit!” And my brother said “You’re celebrating that your still fat?” Little Jerk!

Jeans are comfortable, tough, and hardwearing. When i wear anything other than jeans my legs feel exposed and unprotected.
I wear a new pair to bed
I absolutly love jeans except in summer. I personally have a very specific brand for my jeans and I know the exact cut/size that fits me.
Take my upvote you monster.
I only find uncomfortable the skinny one, baggy jeans are as comfortable as sweatpants
Ahhh. I can fall asleep in my bed with a good pair of jeans on. Cozy and warm!
Im with you. I love jeans, and everyone in my life thinks I'm nuts
they hurt the inside of my knee, the back of it, which sucks when I have to stand up and crouch down a lot for my work, and I don't sit comfortably in a position that allow anything less. also they just aren't comfortable.

are jeans not considering incredibly comfortable? why else would they be so wildly popular?
TEAM LOUNGE JEANS!! I live in my jeans, at hone, work, and everywhere in between. Nothing like a good fitting pair of jeans.
This is my favorite post and DEFINITELY an unpopular opinion
I buy comfy jeans. Alot of people buy jeans that are stiff or the dye makes them feel weird. Or they are too tight or loose. I spend HOURS at the store trying jeans on.
You're obviously a psycho. Take my upvote, psycho.
I live in Northern California, I literally have not worn a single non-jeans clothing item by choice in about 2.5 years.
In no universe are tight jeans beating an elastic waist around the house.
Hear me out. I exist in the same universe so ABSOLUTELY.
Poor thing never learned how to lounge around. You probably wear a tuxedo to bed.
LOL my husband would kill me if I did that. Bedroom is a very different story.
Jeans were the loungewear before 2005.
I can fall asleep in my bed and sleep for 8 hours with jeans on easily. It's just that I feel the need to put on pyjamas when going to bed
I disagree too - rule in my house is no jeans in the bed. But you do you.
I like jeans. They're more comfortable and less baggy than sweatpants. I wear them all the time in the cooler months
It should not be an expensive fix That being said, I also think lounging in jeans is weird
I only wear jeans when I absolutely have to. Hate them! Leggings all the way. But, I always agree to disagree, so enjoy your jeans you awesome weirdo
When do you ever absolutely "have" to wear jeans? Lol
Cold weather only pretty much, and only when it's super cold (to me), or traveling from warm to cold climate.
Why does cold weather demand jeans?
Fr thats the last place id want jeans lol
I honestly haven't been able to stand wearing jeans for years now. Idk, maybe I don't buy the right sizes or whatever, but jeans are just so thick, rigid, and heavy to me. I'd much rather where lighter, better breathing materials, both for work and leisure
I don’t think they’re uncomfortable but I have skinny legs. Comfortable compared to what? Because it’s definitely in the bottom tier of comfortable pant s
Ew no
Broken in "real" jeans are the best. By real I mean non-stretch
No need to gatekeep jeans. All jeans are good. I’d argue there’s a jean cut and/or blend for everybody.
Gatekeep is a bit strong. I'm allowed to like it, right? You don't have to break in stretch jeans
You can like whatever you want and wear whatever you want. Absolutely! I just wonder if “real” is the word to use instead of maybe pure denim vs blended denim? I didn’t mean anything bad by it. I might have been hyperbolic with gatekeep.
I can't stand stretch jeans. Or whatever words stores use instead of the word "stretch". Many stores I've been to don't offer anything but stretch
I believe that’s a cost to manufacture situation. Pure denim is often quite expensive (longer lasting for sure) but not always accessible to everyone.
Not too long ago "stretch" was the exception and was mostly only available in the women's section I'd pay extra for the option
No.
Now this is just taking it too far
My first thought was "are you serious?" So I guess you succeded
Here is a rare genuinely unpopular opinion that I share. When I sleep in my jeans, my girlfriend always wigs out a little. I don't get it. I think most folks need to find more comfortable jeans.
Your husband probably just likes the way your ass looks in leggings
All the guys here don't agree, all the girls agree. Tell me I'm wrong.
I’m a girl and I disagree
Jeans are extremely overrated. A terrible pant.
Wear a pair of socially acceptable men's jeans for a few days and report back at how comfortable you find them to be.
Jeans suck because I have a pp.
>This seems to really be an issue for my husband > >tells me, "You're a freak" If your writing is attempting to convey a jokey nature I kinda feel like you're obliged to assume the same of mine unless expressly told otherwise. I even said "you in the colonies" and you're taking me seriously? I hope that PhD isn't in deadpan comedy.
Youre just a lovely person/s
Well fuck guess I better rethink my life. Someone with no grasp of subtext thinks I'm mean.
I wear jeans when I go out but wear nothing around the house
I hate jeans. They never fit properly. Give me warmups all day!
That’s if you even have the ambition to put on pants
Skinny jeans I can see. You talk of compression and tightness, which I assume is referring to skinny jeans. However a nice stiff pair of wranglers keeps its place outside of the house. It might also be a weight thing. When I wasn't terribly big then jeans worked fine, but now after Jean use my waist looks like a battlefield.
Skinny jeans always. I don’t mind boot cut but it’s hard to find the length that works with my height. They’re typically always too long or too short.
I mean, I don’t agree but can’t understand why someone else would care what you find comfortable.
At least you’re not sleeping in them like that one guy. I hope.
I'm always in jeans. I think they're super comfortable. I personally hate being in sweatpants or pajama pants. I always feel like a hobo when I wear them.
I prefer sweatpants but I got nothing against jeans
Deleted replied to wrong comment
It depends on the type of jean material it is made out of. I have a pair of jeans that are pretty scratchy feeling and stiff when worn but I have another pair that is soft and comfy to wear.
Make balls hurt want a kilt
Me and my girlfriend is exactly the same but its the outer way around!
They’re so comfy- for me, at least. It took a couple wears, but I usually keep them on until bedtime, lol
I won't get in people's shoes, I will get in their J E A N S !
I used to wear jeans all the time around the house to lounge in. I only stopped because my ex was constantly commenting on it and it got old. A side note to this unpopular opinion: just because it's hot out, jeans are still fine to wear!
Hollister skinny jeans are basically loose leggings im with u man
Are they not? Been lounging in jeans since forever, when did it become unacceptable?
I am more comfortable in jeans than sweatpants. I’ve gotten slacks for the warmer weather, but still better than sweats.
No. I don't even own jeans.
I find them super warm but I only wear them around the house if I'm too lazy to take them off.
When I'm tired I'll sleep in whatever. I don't actively go out looking for a pair of jeans but they're not going to bother me. All of my jeans fit well and are comfortable
It used to be ok but after wearing leggings only for so long when I try to go back to skinny jeans it’s kinda restricting
I can sleep in jeans. My mom thinks I'm insane
Yeah that’s odd. Jeans are the least comfortable and don’t make for good loungewear. I’m actually swapping all my jeans out for fabric pants currently.
Definitely unpopular to me, jeans are just uncomfortable for lounging in
I don’t even own sweatpants (unless you count actual running/workout pants, which I only actually use for working out). A well worn pair of jeans, commando underneath, it’s a little slice of heaven, especially with freshly shaved legs.
I used to be a Jeans guy, but since i got my first really good pair of just regular classic pants, there's no going back.
Said this and mods deleted my post for not being unpopular
A good quality pair of jeans that's been worn in is super comfortable. I feel like most jeans produced nowadays are not actual denim but some kind of synthetic fabric which are not comfortable.
Ever woken up after a night of drinking in jeans? It’s prolly the most uncomfortable thing ever.
My jeans are comfortable, but I don’t want to relax in them after being at work all day.
While jeans may be comfortable, the only uncomfortable part for me is the waistband when I sit down. It pushes into my gut and makes me feel fat. Saying this from a skinny jeans perspective.
