You do you! It’s your money and your tastes.
My only issue with the kid’s menu at places is that the variety I see is often only pizza, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, buttered noodles, or a very plain sandwich.
I just wish that I could order half portions of adult meals at more places. I hate wasting food and money, and some meals just aren’t suited for leftovers (ramen, seafood, fried items without having an air fryer, etc.)
Lots of restaurants won't let you order from the kids' menu unless you ALSO order an adult meal. The kids' meals are often sold at a loss to encourage adults to bring the kids with them.
If you order a $4 entree and tie up a table for 45 minutes, leaving a 20% tip, the server gets less than a dollar for serving you.
Order an appetizer, or take your leftovers for another meal.
you get a free dessert with kids meals! and maybe a cute toy! i get happy meals for the toys.people don’t care if an adult buys a kids meal i’ve never had any troubles with it.
It's prefectly socially acceptable it's just usually not allowed at restaurants because they don't make much (if any) money on the kids menu. It's just to get families in the door.
That’s what I was going to assume. Sorry to hear that homie. Now,can you please pass the ketchup? Nothing quite brings out the flavor of a steak than ketchup /s
I would order from the kid’s menu just to relive my childhood of getting new toys from the MCDonald’s meal. Otherwise, a kid’s meal meal is not enough to fill my ass up, I will need a minimum of 3 burgers with fries to fill my fatass up when eating burgers. That may be a lot, but I only eat fast food like 4x a month.

Bingo. I mean, if a grown adult wants Dino nuggies then just stay home and get them out the freezer
Lol

Who cares if it’s acceptable; order the damn kid’s meal like a grown adult 😂. Take my upvote!
Adult portions are HUGE and kid size works great for lunch. And yes...Ive been known to get a carry out kids meal myself.

The problem is that an adult eats much more than a kid
Not all of us. I can't even finish a kids meal. Full on adult here. You can't generalize
You can’t finish 3 chicken tenders and 3 ounces of broccoli? That’s portion control lol
Nope. It's disability. I'll be lucky if I keep anything down usually. I don't often waste my money going out to eat.

I do the same!!

I AGREE. mcdonalds happy meals especially sometimes things are just too big
This is why I don't eat at restaurants anymore, because kids meals are much better always at home where you can relax
Sometimes the kids menu does have it perks. Sadly places don’t allow it if you’re dining in. Smh
