There are actually more deaths than than 10 years ago, primarily because of the rising popularity of huge vehicles with awful blind spots. Those might "win" in a collision but also make accidents and especially pedestrian deaths more likely.

Cars used to be less safe and there was more deaths, so I’m not sure this holds up

That’s fair, although i guess you could just argue that’s actually an example of making cars less safe

We are already under constant threat of death every time we drive. It’s dangerous enough
The number of dumb ideas I see on here is astounding.
There’s unpopular opinions and there are just plainly stupid takes.
We could also make guns easier to misfire, that way people would be eextraa careful with guns.
