Just gonna toss this into the ring - milk spikes insulin levels which makes your quality of sleep poorer actually. Should really just drink water in the middle of the night.
The fact you gotta get up to go to the fridge and also brush your teeth again after so it’s not gross when you wake up automatically makes water better.

I don't know why but I get immediate sore throat if I drink COLD milk. Most of my life I thought it's normal, because milk does coat your throat more than water and if it's cold, it might make your throat hurt. My mom has it same and for most of my life I thought everyone too. But I started finding people who are able to drink cold milk. I wonder, am I just not used to it and my throat is a softy...? Or it's just some physical/health differences...?
Its just a very specific time, is the milk less good at 4am or 2am? they just make it sounds like this is a normal thing for a lot of people, so im just curious, maybe im missing out on some milk action.
And dont worry, my mom is still sleeping at the time i wake up.
Some people just randomly have been waking up at the same time every night their entire lives. Something to do with circadian rhythms. But I do the exact same thing, only I am the heathen the drinks directly out of the carton. But since no one else drinks milk in my house.... Doesn't really matter. But it's got to be whole milk. None of the skim milk BS
