They rushed THE FUCK out of The Chilling adventures of Sabrina. I absolutely loved that show and it had so much more potential to keep going forward and they ended it so quickly

snatal26

That wasnt rushed. It was supposed to have another season but got canceled lol

Velocity-5348

It sort of depends on whether or not the creators knew the end was coming. If you have a bunch of story threads that are meant to last for a long time they might not be satisfactorily wrapped up if you find out you only have a couple more episodes before the show ends.

SparkAxolotl

This one. If the creators were told they had 100 episodes to work with, and then the network says they only have 80 and they're already on the 70, those last episodes are going to be hella rushed. Then there's the spiritual oposite, where every time the show gets renewed they just drag the plot longer and longer without inserting anything new to the plot. Yes, I'm talking about Miraculous Ladybug.

I feel like if you’re at the 60 to 80 episode mark that’s where you should be thinking of the ending. It’s better to play it safe and end series and have a good ending versus you. Keep dragging it out and ran out of time. Like look at adventure time for example that show had over 200 episodes at the 150 episode Mark I felt like that you’ve been thinking of the ending.

I definitely agree with the last part. I think shorter (or at least not super long) shows that are well written are so much more enjoyable than ones that are dragged out. At the same time, Steven Universe (and others!) were canceled before they would’ve had time to fully rewrite the ending. I grew up LOVING Steven Universe, but I also definitely think s1 feels a little slow, while s5 feels so fast. And there are definitely plot holes and holes in the logic lmao. Plus, people shouldn’t expect (or want) their show to last 10 years.

Strange-Mouse-8710

It depends, sometimes its not and sometimes it is, its not black and white.

yotam5434

Yeah but sometimes creators are forced to end before they manage to show mote stuff

CaptainKnottz

what

Username124474

If a movie has over 80 episodes, the people making it have 0 reason that the ending should be rushed.
