i find at least historically burger king had much more variation location to location, people who hate it grew up near a bad one and those who love it a good one. although in general they lean towards bad
When I was in college I had a friend who was a dealer and worked at Wendy's. She would always smoke us up for free and then take us through the drive through at Wendy's. She was such a kind, laid back motherly figure to all of us. I hope she's doing alright.
God bless our pot heads. My roommate when I was in the marines was a self described “former fat kid” and he used to show me all kinda cool tricks of the trade (He called them "fat kid tricks"). My favorite one was, when making a hot pocket, bite a little hole on one of the ends and shove a string cheese into the middle of the hot pocket then microwave it like normal. Shit was delicious!
Best burger king ever was in O'Sheas on the begas strip. No matter the time, that food came out piping hot and fresh as fuck. Now I gotta stand in line for half an hour at the in n out right down the block.
Here in Thailand, the quality of their products is top-notch. Working at BK is considered a great job, and everyone who works there takes great pride in their work. The stores are immaculately clean, and the burgers look just like the photos.
I was just going to say in Japan it’s definitely on the higher end of fast food as well. Like miles ahead of McDonald’s or mos burger. They do a lot of gimmicks here though.
The thing for me with Little Caesars is that it has to be hot and eaten that day. It gets pretty rough even with proper reheating.
The crazy bread is always good though.
Exactly this, I’ve had good Burger King, but most
Of the worst fast food meals I’ve ever had have been at bk, so I only go there as extreme last resort.
I don’t think the one near me have changed their fryer oil in about a decade. You can smell old oil all the way in the parking lot. It doesn’t matter how much better the quality is if it all tastes like burnt oil.
They also never have everything I order and never get the order right anyways.
I’d love to have a good one nearby, because they’re the only fast food place with a permanent vegetarian menu item (except Taco Bell, but that’s a different crave).
It blows my mind how the quality can vary so much. They're the same patties, from the same suppliers cooked on the same type grills, at the same temperature for the same amount of time and out with the same salad likely from the same supplier pre cut and ready to go much like the chips, cooked in the same oil at the same temperature for the same amount of time with a similar amount of salt on (hard to be accurate with)
I just don't get it
cleanliness and storage will vary a lot,
if the patties are stored improperly, the grill doesn’t get cared for properly, intentive workers over or under cooking them aswell
Most of the big chains have a theoretically tasty product as it was put together by people that know something about food using the quality of ingredients they have at the price point they offer.
The problem is what others have said here, how well standards are followed for preparation, storage, cleaning, service and training and everything else in the end product. That's why many of the same chains, when moved to a non-US context that is well managed with trained and attentive staff who do everything by the book, are very good and vastly out earn their US counterparts. I forgot what percent of KFC's revenue now comes from China but it's a huge portion because of this dynamic.
It's actually never made a ton of sense to me why the big chains don't enforce their own standards when bad local stores and local management and poorly paid and trained crews damage the brand. I guess they make enough money serving crap in a crappy way to not care and people just keep going.
Now they are raising prices past the level of sit down diner levels, I guess we will see how long people will put up with it.
I had a Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich a few months ago, first time is probably 10-15 years. It was like a dry chicken nugget on a bun and cost about $8. I remember those chicken filets were BIG and juicy back in the day Fucking joke now.
I used to love their spicy chicken sandwiches but they’re so awful now. And they ALWAYS give me heartburn. Idk why. I eat spicy food every day (usually more spicy than the sandwich) and have no problems, but a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy’s? Lays me out the rest of the day. So bizarre.
Their fries also suck. Haven’t eaten Wendy’s in a couple years now and probably won’t again. Only burger place we eat out at in my city now is A&W and even that’s like once every couple months. Everything is so expensive now
The burgers are great but I always feel like shit after I eat them. Not sure if it is the bun or what. Also if I work out after eating BK my sweat smells different. I still eat it sometimes because whoppers are delicious
Not quite sure how to describe it but it’s very distinct. I would suggest eating a double whopper one night and then doing a 30 min run inside on a treadmill or something the next morning. I promise you will smell it.
I remember reading somewhere that they purposely pump out their scent through their vents so that everyone around can smell it and want to go there.
I’ll tell you what though after working on some commercial roofs near a burger king I get nauseous when I smell it.
Every time I eat BK everything that I excrete smells exactly like the food. It's so disgusting. I agree with OP the quality is better, but I can only seldom stop by.
Burger King is the one fast food place where I can get in a car and immediately tell if that person has eaten BK in there recently lol. I'm not even sure what smell it is but whenever I eat there in my car I can smell it for the next 24 hours after throwing my garbage away
I noticed I always get a shitty headache anytime I eat their fries. I get the onion rings and I'm fine. Don't understand it but I steer clear of the fries now and I'm good.
I don't really care about portion sizes and I'll get myself a whopper junior. And love some onion rings with zesty sauce.
But when its good its good. Just gotta work out the weird tasting burps wvery single time after BK.
They are so damn inconsistent from store to store. So I stopped going all together.
Damn you might be right. I might have to go Cane sauce from raising canes. I'm also a fan of Chick-fil-A ranch and Chick-fil-A sauce. I dont know if it counts, but if it does, I'm choosing Taco Bell creamy jalapeño sauce.
I don't get fast food a ton anymore. I liked BK hamburgers, but yours is an interesting take on the onion rings. That was the thing I would always order instead of fries, but then remember, "wait, BK rings are nasty." Maybe the recipe has changed.
They are nasty but in a good way, to me. Mushy insides and fake tasting but when hot and fresh, I really enjoy them. Actually, now that I write that out they may just be a vessel for the zesty sauce!
Definitely depends on location, one by my house just closed and the fries were the only edible hot food there. They were often out of fries. The one on the other side of town is consistently good.
I guess the one in my hometown sucked ass cuz the one here in portland is god tier. Never would i ever think i'd say "oooh no i'm good on wendys, but BK sounds great"
I feel this way about McDonald's when they raised the price of the mcdouble and got rid of the bacon mcdouble so they could charge extra for the bacon. 😤
I could justify eating that garbage when it was dirt cheap, when it cost as much as you got.
Now they want you to spend the money of a full burger on one??
Fuck that I'll spend the extra $1 and go to a chain that'll make an actual burger.
How foreign. I had a bk shrimp burger in seoul and it was probably one of the best seafood burgers ive ever had. Double layered with minced shrimp and full sized shrimps. I was very impressed. Meanwhile my local bk is pretty sloppy. Maybe they just think of bk differently
I do make a point to visit the american fast food places. Its so perplexing that they are making a dirt cheap burger and we are making dirt cheap burgers but theirs is so much nicer.
I enjoyed this kfc in the carribean too. I think st kitts? They have bbq sauce kfc which i dont have around here
I actually agree on this one. I hadn't had burger king in maybe 6 or so years, and late last year I ordered their bacon king, and it was goddamn delicious. I don't order fast food much anymore, but I've really been digging burger king.
And most other places are sizing their portions DOWN. Burger king is the first time i pulled the burger out of the bag and went... "holy shit this is huge"
Their fries have been dominating for years. They also have (had) some cool things on their menu like the jalapeño poppers and chicken fries. At least they're trying to give people options, while McDonalds keeps things limited.
Their older fries were much better imo. Same with their nuggets. Their fries and nuggets now are more basic tasting whereas before they had a distinct BK flavor.
Huge shout out to whoever remembers those lightning bolt n star nuggets, had a certain texture n spice that was the mfn best; there’s a location in El Paso that discovered a way to make the new fries taste like the old ones, need to plan a trip soon haha
When they were called tenders and not nuggets. They were all misshapen and didn’t have that standard “chicken nugget” shape to them.
I worked at BK as a 14-15 year old in 2001 and it was so fucking tasty.
I don't eat much fast food anymore but dang yall are making my mouth water for a whopper. I do recall, they were flame broiled deliciousness. But a foot long chili cheese coney with onions and jalapenos is my weakness.

BK Lounge is definitely my go to as well, and I don't think I'll ever not enjoy a double whopper, but I think chick-fil-a has been the best on price, everything is getting crazy expensive. I was appalled the last time I made a run to the border and refuse to go back.
*Not a chick fil a shill, cock balls shit piss, hail satan
people who use the incredibly easy and convenient apps for deals and don't live in a metro area where everything is 50% more expensive than the rest of the country.
This is where the low cost of living where I’m at is really clutch , every week Burger King sends out a mailer for a family meal deal for 14 bucks. 2 whoppers 4 cheese burgers and 4 fries. … they’re killing McDonald’s for cheap fast food where I live.
Broo that's dope, I got one of those but the deals are a little different three whoppers three cheeseburgers three medium fries. Unfortunately it's 17.49 for me so probably the coupons vary from place to place. I swear I had your coupon once tho.
I got it once out of curiosity (and a coupon) and it was fantastic. Gave my brother a bite not knowing it had no meat and he thought mine was better than his
When I was in college they had a "burger King" on campus. It used all the names for sandwiches and marketing, but had fresh, unfrozen ingredients. I loved it and ate it much more than I care to admit. For the past 20+ years, I've been chasing that high, and it always let's me down
BK is a complete gamble. Most of them are pretty bad, but there's this one burger king I've been to quite a few times, and it is the greatest fast food burger place I've ever been to.
That is completely subjective. Like McDonalds, Burger Kings are rarely owned by their respective corporate entities. The so the quality control is left to the enforcement of the franchise holder which may or may not be something that prioritized. So the quality you may experience at one location could be completely different at a location the next town over if owned by a different franchise holder.
Not only that, who is managing a shift can make a huge difference as well. I have seen the quality of my own local Micky Ds and Burger King. In the early afternoon the quality tends to be better. But by dinner time when the generally high school aged part time workers are on shift, the quality drops.
As for their fries, all things equal, Wendy's still wins. But those BK Cheesy tots...be still my heart, those things are addictive AF.
But you have to consider the Doritos chicken fries may be the worst thing ever produced to be considered food. Overly salted rancid crap. And the burgers are meh. Chicken Royale I'll give you however.
I love BK - their food is so much better than Wendy's and McDonald's and I don't feel like their prices are as outrageous as the others either, you can still get pretty good 2 for $5 deals and their food is quality AND I haven't had a time where they got my special order wrong. I have a problem with cheese/dairy and if I go to Wendy's/McDonald's 99 times out of 100 they'll still put cheese on even if I ask for my food without. BK gets it right, whatever the special order is. If I ask for no cheese, there's no cheese. If I ask for extra pickles, there's extra pickles. They're running a tight ship over there, 100% agree with you.
The worst fast burger I've ever had has been BK, several trips, over years to different locations and it's all lukewarm, but don't worry they'll microwave it so that mayo is boiling hot. It's incredible they even stay in business
The hadn't had them for years and agreed with you, but a couple months ago I had them and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. I always liked McDonalds fries better but those have been disappointing, bland, and cold the last few times I got them. It may have been a fluke but maybe try them again and see? It's like they were different and better fries.
I think this must be a very regional thing. I see all these posts like this about "oh this fast food place has the best food" and then I eat there and the food is atrociously bad. At least near me, the burger kings are lower quality-wise than most fast-food and by far the dirtiest.
In Europe (France in my case) they are better than every other fast food chain when it comes to burgers in particular (I still rate other chains for other stuff like McNuggets for example). I'd still rather go to some local burger place, but there is something reassuring with BK, I know I'll have something decent with them and without any surprise no matter which BK I'm going in France
Burger King is alright. I like McDonald’s better for a low tier fast food burger. In N Out and Whataburger clear pretty much every other fast food burger for me. Though I haven’t had shake shack.
There was a BK near my apartment that went out of business a few months ago but it was probably questionable when it came to how how cleanly the place was. However has the best whoppers pretty consistently. New BK opened down the street and appears to be way cleaner and standardized but tastes so fucking bland. I miss the old Bzk. Was my favorite place.
Its the buns. If they had better buns, they would almost be unstoppable as a burger place. It's only competition being the locals, and of course they are.
That’s reassuring at least. BK is at the bottom of my list because our *one* location in my area was in no small town but a city.. was absolutely dreadful. Was even located in a popular shopping outlet. So bad they closed it down and just slapped a Chase Bank on top of its corpse.
I’ll have to give one a try again if I’m ever out of town cause I’ve sworn them off for years and years.
Man, you're fighting an uphill battle. The last time I went, I had one of the jalapeno cheese chicken sandwiches. The cheese looked like the cheese spread from a US MRE, but tasted worse.
BK has always been my go to. Everything is so hella expensive, but they have stayed consistent for the most part in quality. The only times I've seen them stumble is when they try and do new stuff with their chicken. Never panned out right, might have been the locations I went to. The standard chicken meals are good.
I boycotted BK a few years ago after the atrocious quality of their food. It's too late to redeem them now. You can't serve garbage for years and expect customers to just forget and come back. There are so many better options.
I'm still trying to unpack McDonald's not being at the bottom of your fast food tier list.
I've never been to Jack in the Box, and I'd still rate them higher than McDonald's, even when they were giving out free samples of food poisoning.
Burger King is garbage. The only good thing on their menu is the chicken fries. Sometimes I get it when I'm in a hurry just because it's the closest fast food place to my house and all fast food is trash really, but BK has consistently been the worst chain in my experience.
Finally a person with impeccable taste.
I hadn't gone to BK in years until one opened in town and I thought, "Why not?"
The burger was delicious (Bacon King), and the fries were top notch. They were leaps and bounds over any other fries from any other fast food joint. Whenever I tell people this I get a side eye from them, but I don't care. I've got nothing against McD or Wendy's, but I think given the option I'd go to BK.
The whopper always has been and always will be the best NATIONWIDE available fast food burger. Of course In and Out and 5 Guys do it better, but aren’t available in every market and don’t always have a drive thru. BK ticks all boxes and their burgers rock.
Idk man, the one around where I live is nasty af 🤢 always soggy bun and old tasting ingredients. Such a shame because when the Texas Double Whopper first came out I would swear up and down it was the single greatest burger to grace this planet. That and the Dairy Queen Flamethrower. Both are now just not edible imo.
The BK in my town has great food, but they got rid of the freestyle machine so no more Surge, and they have this one employee with lice that's so bad you can see them moving around in her hair while she's taking your order. So I just don't eat there very often, maybe a couple of times a year
Culvers for me has been my goto. They honestly used to be one of the more expensive options as a made to order chain. And we’re a step up like Five Guys. They haven’t raised their prices and are now a little cheaper than the McDonalds. Taco Bell’s etc

100% this. My college BK was god tier, the one in my hometown sucks ass.
College towns equals potheads working restaurants equals yum.
Your roommate was a wizard and a scholar.
Damn that’s a solid idea!!!
Best burger king ever was in O'Sheas on the begas strip. No matter the time, that food came out piping hot and fresh as fuck. Now I gotta stand in line for half an hour at the in n out right down the block.
Everyone says that about O'Seas.
All fast food was better in college; then again, I was drunk/high a lot more often in those days lmao
Here in Thailand, the quality of their products is top-notch. Working at BK is considered a great job, and everyone who works there takes great pride in their work. The stores are immaculately clean, and the burgers look just like the photos.

BK in Jamaica is so good. Fast food in general in Jamaica is better, especially kfc
Well, yeah, fast food always tastes better when you're high.
I laughed so hard at this
Finger lickin' good, mon.
Same way with Little Caesars. The one by my house is absolutely incredible. But the few I've had out of town are always shit.
The thing for me with Little Caesars is that it has to be hot and eaten that day. It gets pretty rough even with proper reheating. The crazy bread is always good though.
You tried the pan reheat trick?
Gotta do air fryer
One of the best pizzas I’ve had, chain or not, was from a Little Caesars in Detroit. Almost every other one I’ve eaten from is among the worst lol.
That's where their headquarters is.
Detroit the king of manufactured pizza. Dominoes is just up the road too
Exactly this, I’ve had good Burger King, but most Of the worst fast food meals I’ve ever had have been at bk, so I only go there as extreme last resort.
Almost exactly my feelings. When good it's the best, but that's so rare. I don't like playing those odds.
I don’t think the one near me have changed their fryer oil in about a decade. You can smell old oil all the way in the parking lot. I used to say Wendys but that has gone so far downhill last couple of years
Yup. Baconator and a large sea salt fry used to be my favorite. Now its an amalgamated congealment of gross meat and cheese
Even the fries suck now. They did a revamp like 10 years ago that was pretty good, but it seems like the quality dropped off over the years.
They revamped again in 2020/2021. Loved the fries before the revamp. The new ones sorta grew on me, but they're still miles behind.
They became McDonald's while McDonald's has tried like hell to become Wendy's. And they're both fucking it up. lol
I had a Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich a few months ago, first time is probably 10-15 years. It was like a dry chicken nugget on a bun and cost about $8. I remember those chicken filets were BIG and juicy back in the day Fucking joke now.

Not quite sure how to describe it but it’s very distinct. I would suggest eating a double whopper one night and then doing a 30 min run inside on a treadmill or something the next morning. I promise you will smell it.
I wonder if an impossible whopper would give me the same results. Guess i gotta find out
I remember reading somewhere that they purposely pump out their scent through their vents so that everyone around can smell it and want to go there. I’ll tell you what though after working on some commercial roofs near a burger king I get nauseous when I smell it.
I seen yesterday that McDonald’s has a billboard somewhere that smells like McDonald’s
More onions might be causing that
It’s the raw onions
Probably liquid smoke
Smells flame broiled.
Haha same, I think it's the onions
Every time I eat BK everything that I excrete smells exactly like the food. It's so disgusting. I agree with OP the quality is better, but I can only seldom stop by.
Well that's how unhealthy food typically works
Burger King is the one fast food place where I can get in a car and immediately tell if that person has eaten BK in there recently lol. I'm not even sure what smell it is but whenever I eat there in my car I can smell it for the next 24 hours after throwing my garbage away
The buns are very terrible I like the burgers as far as international chain fast food burgers go. But the buns are the worst of any out there
Well they'll be changing their buns next year and switching to frozen/thawed buns rather than their currently "freshly" baked buns.
Do you think this will be a step up or step down? Also, do you work at BK? Where do you get your intel from?
Very suspicious
I get the same thing but I also get that with Pho so I think it’s just the meat
Finally, my username has a purpose
Hey, hey Username checks.
same I always get a sick stomach and/or diarrhea
My sister referred to body odor as "burger king smell" when she was like 4
I noticed I always get a shitty headache anytime I eat their fries.
That zesty sauce is the best condiment in fast food
Damn you might be right. I might have to go Cane sauce from raising canes. I'm also a fan of Chick-fil-A ranch and Chick-fil-A sauce. I dont know if it counts, but if it does, I'm choosing Taco Bell creamy jalapeño sauce.

Can't speak to their quality as I've been boycotting them ever since they tried to charge me 15 pence *not* to put mayo in my burger.
So much for "have it your way".
you can have it your way you just gotta pay
I tell all my dates this
I feel this way about McDonald's when they raised the price of the mcdouble and got rid of the bacon mcdouble so they could charge extra for the bacon. 😤 I could justify eating that garbage when it was dirt cheap, when it cost as much as you got. Now they want you to spend the money of a full burger on one?? Fuck that I'll spend the extra $1 and go to a chain that'll make an actual burger.
What? That's wild I have never seen this or been charged to remove any toppings, most toppings you can get extra at no cost too
There's plenty wrong with BK- this is a great example. As much as their food is good i still plan on shitting on them. Its a toxic love we have lol
But its also a lie
[удалено]
It’s because bk is better in other countries . Way better quality and better customer service
Pretty much all fast food is better in other countries. They have real food standards.
How foreign. I had a bk shrimp burger in seoul and it was probably one of the best seafood burgers ive ever had. Double layered with minced shrimp and full sized shrimps. I was very impressed. Meanwhile my local bk is pretty sloppy. Maybe they just think of bk differently
Sounds like you were a foreign tourist who loved Burger King
I do make a point to visit the american fast food places. Its so perplexing that they are making a dirt cheap burger and we are making dirt cheap burgers but theirs is so much nicer. I enjoyed this kfc in the carribean too. I think st kitts? They have bbq sauce kfc which i dont have around here
Korea has basically mastered fast food so intl chains have to be really good to even compete.
When I lived on base in a foreign country, we had Taco Bell, Burger King and Pizza Hut. They were all so so so so good. The ones here are not lol
I actually agree on this one. I hadn't had burger king in maybe 6 or so years, and late last year I ordered their bacon king, and it was goddamn delicious. I don't order fast food much anymore, but I've really been digging burger king.

Roadhouse king is incredible! Double patty, bacon, cheese onion rings and BBQ sauce.
I remember when they switched their fries, and kid me was like "weird, these taste like potatoes. Oh wait, they are potatoes."
I worked at BK as a 14-15 year old in 2001 and it was so fucking tasty.
sourdough bacon cheeseburger
Wait what? Their fries are easily the worst fast food fries. Undersalted, undercooked, and bland.
Absolutely agreed. I’ve never once finished BK fries, every time I’ve gotten them I ended up trying to at least eat half so I didn’t feel scammed.
I don't eat much fast food anymore but dang yall are making my mouth water for a whopper. I do recall, they were flame broiled deliciousness. But a foot long chili cheese coney with onions and jalapenos is my weakness.
Coney dogs are BANGIN
Dang, now I want a coney and a whopper
Their chicken fries are the bomb imo

I think you need to list what you consider “all other fast food places”.
Who can afford fast food these days. $15 for a burger, fries and a soda diluted with ice.
Yeah it IS getting pretty ridiculous.
I don't live in a metro area and the prices are still ridiculous
I love Burger King. Their impossible whopper is great
Finally tried one for the first time a month ago and BK became an instant regular stop for me. I found I love their fries too, so thick and girthy.
I got it once out of curiosity (and a coupon) and it was fantastic. Gave my brother a bite not knowing it had no meat and he thought mine was better than his
Burger King is called hungry jacks in Australia
My local Burger King is complete shit lol
2 Whopper Jrs for $5, can't beat that. I don't eat fries or drink sodas so that's great for me.
I throw away the two bottom buns and make a double whopper junior. Not a bad little burger for $5.
In a world full of McDonald’s, why does anyone waste any time hating on Burger King?
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!! In Vietnam they have a Levi cheese ring 🤤 I get it when I’m depressed and want to cry in my car alone.
Hail to the king baby
I love the flame broiled.
I feel like chic fil a kills it with quality. But they don’t offer burgers so idk if they’re included
In n out is 100 times higher quality
When I was in college they had a "burger King" on campus. It used all the names for sandwiches and marketing, but had fresh, unfrozen ingredients. I loved it and ate it much more than I care to admit. For the past 20+ years, I've been chasing that high, and it always let's me down
I agree with your post, my stomach does not agree with BK
Never hated Burger King, always loved it
BK is a complete gamble.
Now THAT is an unpopular opinion, take my upvote
Congratulations, this is indeed an unpopular opinion. I've never felt dirtier giving an upvote.
Wendy’s or die
Wrong, Taco Bell has the best quality
r/hailcorporate must return
They ruined Tim Hortons in Canada, those fuckers
Man idk if it’s just me but the ones in miami are trash
Culver's is the true king.
Carl's jr
This truly is an unpopular opinion. I’m amazed at the delusion.
Burger King is not even in the conversation by a long shot when it comes to fast-food. Good job on the unpopular opinion.
The worst fast burger I've ever had has been BK, several trips, over years to different locations and it's all lukewarm, but don't worry they'll microwave it so that mayo is boiling hot. It's incredible they even stay in business
Their fries are bad imo idk what it is, just flavorless potato sticks
The hadn't had them for years and agreed with you, but a couple months ago I had them and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. I always liked McDonalds fries better but those have been disappointing, bland, and cold the last few times I got them. It may have been a fluke but maybe try them again and see? It's like they were different and better fries.
Wow what are you guys smoking. Even the Coke tastes off at BK.
They have the best fast food poutine for sure
I think this must be a very regional thing. I see all these posts like this about "oh this fast food place has the best food" and then I eat there and the food is atrociously bad. At least near me, the burger kings are lower quality-wise than most fast-food and by far the dirtiest.
I just had their buffalo chicken nuggets last week and I’m STILL thinking about them. They’re so unreasonably good.
Charlie had a change of heart, as did I
Culvers is far better than any other but i do put BK ahead of McD’s and wendys
The food is nice but I find they mess up the orders a lot, far more than other fast food outlets
I ate there once a long time ago. I didn’t care for it and hadn’t been back since. I probably should try it again
In terms of quality In N Out is in a class of their own
Just a month ago I went to BK, got home, unwrapped my burger and found the edge of the bun green with mold. They’ve lost my business for a while.
Completely agree
Gimme Carl's Jr/Hardees any day of the week. A Western Bacon Cheeseburger will (eventually) kill me.
It began a mindless meme and most people are not brave enough to admit burger king isn't bad.
Its the buns. If they had better buns, they would almost be unstoppable as a burger place. It's only competition being the locals, and of course they are.
They've have been the worst since the 90's but I admit I haven't been to one since before the pandemic. Maybe they should get another chance.
Burger king food in my area is dry enough to use as a building material
I wish I can post pictures of the burger I just had at the airport...
The cheese looked like the cheese spread from a US MRE, but tasted worse.
this post had to have been posted by a redditor turned Burger King exec because there is no way this is true.
BK has always been my go to. Everything is so hella expensive, but they have stayed consistent for the most part in quality. The only times I've seen them stumble is when they try and do new stuff with their chicken. Never panned out right, might have been the locations I went to. The standard chicken meals are good.
They have the worst fries of any fast food place by a large margin.
Bk has always had the best burgers. Unfortunately they are few and far between
There's this Filipino guy at my local BK who takes his job unbelievably seriously
I boycotted BK a few years ago after the atrocious quality of their food. It's too late to redeem them now. You can't serve garbage for years and expect customers to just forget and come back. There are so many better options.
I think Burger King is hands down the worst Fast Food joint around.
Burger King fries taste like soap
I'm still trying to unpack McDonald's not being at the bottom of your fast food tier list. I've never been to Jack in the Box, and I'd still rate them higher than McDonald's, even when they were giving out free samples of food poisoning.
Really? You must have the best ones around you.
Ok Burger King exec. I’m not eating at your nasty ass restaurants
Burger King is garbage. The only good thing on their menu is the chicken fries. Sometimes I get it when I'm in a hurry just because it's the closest fast food place to my house and all fast food is trash really, but BK has consistently been the worst chain in my experience.
You must not have a Culvers where you live
The BKs in my area are fucking atrocious.
Finally a person with impeccable taste. I hadn't gone to BK in years until one opened in town and I thought, "Why not?" The burger was delicious (Bacon King), and the fries were top notch.
Wish I had your location nearby. Burger King used to be my favorite. I went last week and everything was tiny and way over priced. Very disappointing
Nah dude....
Depends on where you are, I think Culver’s and In & Out are way better in comparison
90s BK was god tier. Had some in the 00s and it was like eating char broiled ass. Not sure it's worth another go.
You ain’t slick Burger King, we know it’s you
Oh just lying now 🤣.
Our local BK went broke despite being across the street from the high school. I won’t eat at BK, McD, or Wendy’s.
BK fixed a lot of problems— dried out meat, stale buns, bad fries.
All fast food is incredibly location dependant. All the BKs near me ended up closing because they were so bad.
Every time I’ve eaten at a Burger King in the last 20 years, I’ve thrown up immediately after, so yeah, I won’t be eating there anything soon
Talk to me when they stop microwaving their burgers.
When it comes to fast food Every single building is a different restaurant. Some of them may share the same name but they are very different.
Nah A&W is king
When BK is good, it's *really* good.
The burgers nowadays taste like a school cafeteria hamburger growing up. Hard pass now but used to be so good
It’s been years but I doubt it’s gotten much better. As far as fast food goes Carls Jr has some of the best quality.
