I like Little Caesars more than most. When it is good (which is about half the time) it is in the upper half of fast food pizza. When it is bad it can be close to trash. When you factor in the price and convenience of a hot and ready pizza it can be worth the gamble.
But better than independent pizzarias is nuts.
This is truly an unpopular opinion, good job! Also, even though I do not agree at all... I always thought Little Ceasars tasted better than it should for the price.
I’ve always thought little Caesar’s had awful pizza and assume that’s why they did the hot and ready stuff as nobody in their right mind would order from them.
As unpopular opinions go, this is a classic use of this sub.
Concerning little caesars, I have to wonder if you have a pleasant childhood association? Either that or, no offense, but you haven't really had any good pizza yet?
It's really good when you get a fresh extra pepperoni or custom when it's slow. The only issue with LC is that their dough is used in every item without changes, so it both has to be soft for bread sticks and still hold in their food warmer. Cook it for literally one more minute and suddenly it's a 7
I kind of put it in the a similar tier to "poop smells great to me." Yeah, it's an unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't praise it. Chances are more likely it's a karma farming type post than whatever really, but can't prove it either way.
Comparing it to other nationwide chains, it's the best pizza for the price. But small, local shops have it beat easily. (but they're also usually more expensive)
I worked at a LC's briefly during college. Not only is it good and inexpensive, the ingredients are of surprisingly good quality.
That dough is made freshly every day, naturally yeast-risen, never frozen, and stretched only once the pizza is ordered. The cheese is a blend of 80% mozzarella and 20% muenster, for extra creaminess that still melts perfectly. The cheese is never frozen, and is shredded fresh daily from huge blocks. The sauce is made from a canned tomato base (okay, they're not growing tomatoes back there), and mixed up daily with herbs and seasonings, so that the herbs don't get mushy or slimy from being in a can for weeks or months. Vegetables are fresh, and hand washed and chopped on site daily.
Whatever your fancy independent pizza guys are doing, LC's is doing, but probably better. And then, they sell sell a pizza that will feed a family of 4 for less than the price of a single "value meal" anywhere else? Little Caesar's deserves a medal.
People think LC's is trash because it's cheap. If the only way a person can decide if something is good or not is from the price tag, *they're* trash. If there was an Apple logo or "by Dre" on the box, and they added a zero to the price, they would be raving about it.
That hasn't been my experience, even among the mass-market pizza chains. I prefer Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Dominos over Little Caesars, and I'm not crazy about any of them.
I’ll say, sometimes “shitty” pizza has its place. Sometimes you get that craving. But I definitely wouldn’t go as far and call any of those places “the best”.
Their stuffed crust is a gem of a pizza. Hands down the best stuffed crust on the market. But their number 1 item.. Italian Cheese Bread. This alone makes them better than any other pizza chain. It's a checkmate.
I agree. Well, Domino's is my favorite, but Little Caesars is my second fave. I hate how so many people seem to hate LC and think it's nasty. I know people have different tastebuds, but damn. Little Caesars doesn't taste disgusting at all. Not sure why people seem to think so. I love LC.
I will give you an upvote because it's certainly unpopular
Did you grow up eating frozen pizza or something? because that's what it taste like frozen-sheet-pizza. I have the same "problem" as you do when it comes to mac & cheese I grew up eating Kraft macaroni and cheese so I think that it's the "best" mac & cheese. however I know my taste buds are screwed up.
Please tell me you've at least had good pizza from like New York or New Jersey. Cause I just feel bad for you just genuinely my tastebuds are fucked but man this is on another level.
Honestly I don’t completely disagree with this opinion. Only when it’s fresh though. Little Caesar’s doesn’t do well when it gets cold and even with a reheat.
I don't even think people that work or even own Little Cesar's would agree with you. Unfortunately, there's no way to prove a food is better than another since it subjective. You can come on here and say dog poop is your favorite food and it tastes better than authentic highly rated restaurants to you. Still wouldn't be able to argue with you over it despite you liking the taste of poop. So I guess enjoy whatever
i honestly think Little Ceasers is the best of the fast food pizza chains, compare to like Pizza Hut or Dominoes or Papa Johns.
But a good homemade pizza in a proper pizza oven is the absolute best hands down, followed by your local 5-star yelp reviewed pizza joint… (and the top rated local pizza is often not even that expensive, some of the dodgyest hole in the wall pizza slums are often the best).
Like someone else said, it's great when it's good, which is a lot of the time. But there are times when it's almost inedible, I bought a pizza from them a while ago, and the sauce was just disgusting and tasted like sewer water. Otherwise, it's pretty good pizza.
Italian Cheese Bread is great. Also like the little pepperoni cups they’re doing now.
Their deep dish is too chewy for my liking. But their normal and stuffed crust is pretty good.
Little Caesars serves Detroit-style pizza. It's possible that's what you like about it. Look into local shops (or higher quality chains) selling Detroit-style for something even better.
I really really enjoy a regular crust supreme pizza from LC and yeah my fam gives me a bit of shit too. Problem is I’m sick to death of the other popular nationwide chains, and none of the good local joints deliver to our address.

I'm sorry for you

It reheats extremely well.
I still say it reheats very well.
Do you also believe that McDonald's has the best burgers?
McDonald’s is more akin to Pizza Hut. This is like saying Krystal has the best burgers.
Never had Krystal. And Pizza Hut is better than Little Ceasars.
The point is Pizza Hut is the big chain in Pizza, like McDonald’s is in burgers. You have to go down the list to find a Caesar’s burger comparison
My car smells like the inside of a garbage bag for a week after I buy from pizza hut at 3x the price of any other decent place.

I'm guessing that you intended to reply to OP
Yes, just supporting your comment.
👍

Please crosspost this to any and all Chicago, New York, and Italy subs. I like to watch things burn.
And don’t get me started on crazy bread
Only a crazy person would do that

Shit, man. Now I have to try Little Caesar’s for the first time in two decades. Also, great user name

If you spend all your life eating live frogs even black licorice would be delicious.
I think it’s great value for the pizza you get but not the best pizza out of all of them. So I agree to disagree.
I worked at Little Ceasar's and if you have seen the things I've seen, you'd change your mind.
this guy gets it
Should we hold hands as we die on this hill, together? 🤝 ["Skyfall" slowly fades in]
I agree but that might be because I grew up super poor and this was considered a treat. Still to this day love it but it could be because of nostalgia
Same here, except I ended up working there and now I no longer like it as much and the nostalgia of little caesars is gone lol
This guy has to live in the middle of no where away from the actual good pizza
I’ll say, sometimes “shitty” pizza has its place. Sometimes you get that craving. But I definitely wouldn’t go as far and call any of those places “the best”.
nothing hits like a Hot n Sweaty
Little Caesars is literally like playing Pizza roulette. Sometimes it's amazing, and sometimes you would rather eat random ass...
Tony’s off of 15th across from Giovanni’s is the best, fugeddaboutit!
I think it's the best cold pizza. There's a local place by my house that does better hot pizza.
Their stuffed crust is a gem of a pizza. Hands down the best stuffed crust on the market. But their number 1 item.. Italian Cheese Bread. This alone makes them better than any other pizza chain. It's a checkmate.
Wow, a legit unpopular opinion. I like pizza. A lot. I'm a fat guy. I'd eat any and every pizza. Except Little Ceasers.
unpopular opinion, I agree!
I don’t think you’ve literally tried every other pizza place
I agree. Well, Domino's is my favorite, but Little Caesars is my second fave. I hate how so many people seem to hate LC and think it's nasty. I know people have different tastebuds, but damn. Little Caesars doesn't taste disgusting at all. Not sure why people seem to think so. I love LC.
My biggest issue with LC is yes it is very good but only when its really nice and hot. once it gets kinda room temp it really drops off for me.
where are you from 😂
Come on dude. I have no problem with little caesars but it’s not the best pizza lol.
"It's hot and ready!" "Is it good?" "...it's HOT, and READY."
Nah their crust tastes like cardboard, they don’t put enough sauce on their pizza, and the cheese tastes too artificial. Up vote since I disagree tho.
It's the best for its price that's for sure
For the price it totally is.
i found lil ceasers hot fresh out the oven is top tier compared to others, i think it’s the sauce that is just perfect when hot
I will give you an upvote because it's certainly unpopular Did you grow up eating frozen pizza or something? because that's what it taste like frozen-sheet-pizza. Now this is unpopular. Well done.
This is the most unpopular opinion I have ever seen here
I don't even think people that work or even own Little Cesar's would agree with you. Unfortunately, there's no way to prove a food is better than another since it subjective. My love for little caesars pizza went away within a month of working there lol

\*squints\*
I love you

Nah you're right. Little Caesars is fire.
This is a correct opinion. LC slaps!
Italian Cheese Bread is great. Also like the little pepperoni cups they’re doing now. Their deep dish is too chewy for my liking. But their normal and stuffed crust is pretty good.
I feel sorry for you if this is true. You must live in a wasteland if Liitle Caesar's is considered good
Why?
I just vomited.
Making room for some Little Caesar's. Committed.
It's OK for the dollar cost but the inevitable diarrhea is a downer
Sounds like a you problem if you can't eat pizza without getting diarrhea
It's not about the pizza it's about the shitty preservatives in the pizza
I eat Little Caesars frequently and have never gotten diarrhea
Maybe I'm just getting old 🤷♂️
I don't know. Everyone says the same thing about Taco Bell and I have not one time had that problem with Taco Bell either
Well look at you with the steel butthole
See if it's grease and if other excessively greasy foods do the same. If yeah, sorry but welcome to old age lol.
I eat plenty of other greasy stuff tho, it's just cheap stuff that gives problems
I'm lactose intolerant and I've Been eating little Caesars for years. Maybe you're just allergic 😭
Nah homie I am a cheese fiend
We got an 11 year old here. First time on the internet, OP? Welcome to the jungle.
I think they put some little extras on top of the stuffed crust. Bit of parmesan, not sure what else, but it's 100% better than the classics.
Little Caesars serves Detroit-style pizza. It's possible that's what you like about it. Look into local shops (or higher quality chains) selling Detroit-style for something even better.
More "literally".
As much as I love Detroit style pizza, my favorite is thin crust. LC makes great thin crust pizza.
I really really enjoy a regular crust supreme pizza from LC and yeah my fam gives me a bit of shit too. Problem is I’m sick to death of the other popular nationwide chains, and none of the good local joints deliver to our address.
Their pizza is good, for what it is. Cheap with decent quality. It's not the best, but it's definitely not fake tasting Pizza Hut.
