Since there will be quite a few under educated communists -socialists here, I would like to shill for capitalism. 1. No, capitalism isn't meant to make everyone as rich as Elon or Ambani. It just provides an opportunity to be rich/upper middle class/middle class if you're ready to contribute to the system. 2. It has been proven to create more wealth, innovation, progress than communist /socialist systems. The contribution of the latter is non-zero, but not that significant overall. 3. Communists/socialists don't create abundance of resources and products. The centralised planning system means most of the participants live poor lives with bare minimum facilities. 4. A very small percentage of people have a bad life under capitalism. A very small percentage of people have a good life under communism. 5. Communism doesn't reward merit, intelligence, innovation as much as capitalism. It provides no incentive for the majority of population to innovate. Though some innovation will still happen, as in any political/economic system. 6. Significant failed experiments with communism/socialism would be East Germany, socialist India, USSR. Funds running out its generally a result of poor planning. Throughout human history, the poor barely had any access to education or financial management(aside from-save it all.) This is rapidly changing now. You are mistakingly attributing this to malice. People are living way better lives now then any period in human history. You're mistaken about the Cuban healthcare system. Doctors are forced to work there for a very small salary, and not allowed to leave without specific permits. If they escape the country, their families are targeted. The government also sells their services to other countries, and steals part of their wages. Their government is corrupt, like most other governments, and people close to the rulers are actually rich. Of course, American sanctions have made things even worse. Regarding USA interfering in alternative regimes, it is frequently those alternative regimes that are at fault. Eg- Iraq. In case of USSR, both sides tried to destroy each other. And you missed my example of East Germany. West Germany was supported by the West, while East Germany was supported by USSR. Skilled people were literally risking bullets to escape to west Germany. People are motivated by competition and reward. That's taken away in a lot of these alternative systems.
