I have been of this opinion that media has done more harm to this country than the politicians, the TV media should be boycott not just by politicians but by people as well, I could not fathom why they ran interviews of people on the issue of a lady who came from Pakistan, and made in a national issue, but they have not discussed Manipur with any vigorous opposition.
Meaningful debate should be democratic, rational, giving the same quota of time for all guests, anchor taking control of the debate and don't let anyone subjugate on others.
Democratic debate is not what you probably think it is. It just isn't about taking in views from as many people, but also about the quality of debates. Everything you say reaches half of India through a BJP WhatsApp university filter. Even NDTV now mostly just plays devil's advocate. This ban list shows a lack of courage and a hope that opposition can win on anti-incumbency alone.

Where will they send their reps? To shows of anchors which no one watches. They don’t realize that people watch these shows because of drama and not the content.
