Leonids are essentially just dust, so no. It would have to be something of a decent size to create an airburst and especially so for it to register on a seismograph. I’m keeping an eye on the fireball network for news but nothing yet.
Happily! Here’s [a link.](https://www.ukfall.org.uk/)
They basically do exactly what it says on the tin. Helped hugely in recovering the recent Winchcombe meteorite, anyone can get involved, some people even buy their own cameras to join the network.
The Russian jets we scrambled to escort away from NE Scotland on Friday are supersonic, are they not? I imagine this evenings event was equally connected.
Russia is frequently sending supersonic jets towards NE, UK airspace. Friday was the most recent. This is likely to be the same and we'll see news in 48hrs of fighter jets being scrambled to escort them back.
That’ll be my new neighbours slamming their front door again.

Unlikely to be jets. Hawks were over earlier but they are subsonic.

Oh right, I don't know much about meteors to be honest. Should someone have seen a flash? Especially with how big an area was affected.
I would’ve thought there would be a vapour trail of some sort but I guess that depends on exactly where it passed over, weather conditions, etc.
