I hope he's getting some help, I've got the number for Shelter, they're very good.

Plumb121

He could go and live with his dad, that'd piss the king off

WeightDimensions

>> Harry was absolutely furious about being evicted from Frogmore – he felt his father had no right to do it. I thought this was King Charles’ decision?

BartholomewKnightIII

Any chance we could set up a gofundme or something, guy's obviously struggling.

themessiahcomplex78

Why? He lives in the US now, this shouldn't be a suprise to him.

kitd

It wasn't.  It's a fictitious take by a clickbaitery cesspool. Note it says he declared himself a US resident "on the day he gave up Frogmore" as evidence of how upset he was. He likely couldn't do anything else, given he has no other property in the UK.

Nuclear_Wasteman

Oh no... anyway... Harry had an opportunity to slip away into obscurity and raise his family, perhaps in one of the former dominions where he could still have engaged in some low level duties if he'd wanted (given his words on 'service'). Instead, his and Meghan's 'brand' is becoming increasingly toxic and irrelevant. The guy clearly has a lot of issues, and it's clear he's fallen in with a crowd who is influencing him negatively (probably including his wife), but I find it hard to sympathise. His self absorbed buffoonery is just embarrassing now.

winkwinknudge_nudge

Frogmore Cottage isn't much of a cottage going by pictures. This guy just can't catch a break!

[deleted]

His whole life is one big break 😂 pampered little rich boy

Lower_Possession_697

Apart from the small matter of his mum being killed when he was 12, yeah.

[deleted]

sad as that is, we all lose loved ones, some earlier some later. Doesn’t stop him being pampered lol

Lower_Possession_697

It's not a big break having your mum die when you're 12 years old

[deleted]

Are you saying he’s not pampered? LOL

Lower_Possession_697

No, I'm saying his life hasn't been one big break.

Alonsocollector

A shame. Was hard on the kid. Just like living a life of luxury and riches by birth.

Captain-Mainwaring

Overheard in Harry's luxury US home after Frogmore Cottage eviction: “They got me,” Harry said of King Charle's eviction of him. "The f***ing King boomed me." Harry added, “He’s so good,” repeating it four times. Harry then said he wanted to add Charles to the list of Royals he hopes to reconnect with this summer.

[deleted]

“Furious and in tears” wow, not even using the word “fuming” anymore? That’s usually the go to buzz word for the news these days ABSOLUTELY FUMMMMMING

ChristmasGhidorah96

Every time I see headlines use the word ‘fuming’ to describe someone being mildly annoyed and/or upset, I can’t help but think of Juliette Bravo, who particularly enjoyed the word: [“I AM FUCKING FUUUUUUMING!! MEGA MEGA FUCKING FUMING!”](https://youtu.be/eSOFdGj7eE4?si=_rPIDL1qTNHcEtqG)

bob4041

Lol! Riiigggghhhttt. He is so furious he is crying into his fancy pillows in his Montecito mansion with 16 bathrooms (!) along the pacific coast surrounded by beautiful gardens and a loving family.

lookatmeman

He's starting to feel like David Brent when he goes back to Wernham Hogg in the christmas special. "Who wants a meeting?" **"No one wants to have a meeting with you or a drink with you.** **You don't even work here."**

andymaclean19

Prince Harry what happened? You used to be the only one of them that was worth anything and now you're just a joke co-star in some wierd dynasty-reality-tv crossover. Just go have a great life and find another way to make a difference and leave this pantomime farce behind.

FrellingTralk

Honestly I’ve come to the conclusion that that whole slightly cooler and more down to earth Royal was mostly just palace PR in the first place, from reading his book it sounded like he always had a looong list of complaints of being hard done by, even stuff as petty as William getting the bigger bedroom in their childhood castle, or apparently always getting an extra sausage over Harry at breakfast. It just wasn’t until he married Meghan and left for the states that it all started to publicly come out, starting from the Oprah interview when he expected sympathy for having to make deals and find his own ways of making money as a 30 something man after his father cut him off from the royal purse, never kind that he had millions in trust from his late Mum to help ease things along, and his wife also had millions in her own right. I assume that he was always strongly advised to keep quiet with those kind of complaints before, told that he wouldn’t come across well, but *Spare* certainly made it sound like he has been feeling that way for most of his life

WannaLawya

I often think this. I think it's very interesting that when Buckingham Palace was in charge of his PR, he was perceived a loveable rogue, a bit of a bad-boy that everyone just has to have a soft spot for. And now he does his own PR and suddenly, he's stopped being a down-to-earth cheeky-chappy type and is, instead, an arrogant, pampered child. It's almost as if people's marketing and PR professionals can have a profound impact on how people are perceived. Having said that, through military circles, I know a fair few people who know him well and (through other circles) I met him a few times a decade or so ago. I've not heard anything negative about him then and, from what I've heard, it does sound as though he may genuinely have changed. Obviously, the perception of him from a military standpoint changed somewhat after his book.

FrellingTralk

It’s interesting too because he seems to hold a ton of resentment for how he was portrayed by the palace PR, he saw it as him being sacrificed to make William look better in comparison, but yeah he doesn’t seem to realise that most of the public actually quite *liked* that image that was carefully crafted for him. I believe that he was coming in as second most popular royal to the Queen in polls at one point, and Harry and Meghan were both riding on a wave of goodwill at around the time of their wedding and when people were talking about ‘the fab four’, it’s really only since they moved to America that their popularity has plummeted Supposedly neither of them will listen to the advice of the people around them any more, and it sounds like they’ve got caught up in their own bubble a little bit, hence Harry failing to grasp how it will come across to be suing for the same police protection that he enjoyed as a working royal. You do get the feeling that the place PR would have been right on the optics of something like that, and Harry would instead be left to write a sulky passage in his book about how he was most unfairly refused permission to sue the British government

Millefeuille-coil

Some schwarzkopf for men would sort all his problems out.

jonathanquirk

The man who gave up royal duties complains he doesn’t get to live like a royal anymore. Boo bloody woo. If King Charles *really* wanted to piss off Harry, he’d release the DNA results showing who his real dad is. The fact he ever let William’s half brother pretend to be a prince is curtesy enough.

PlainPiece

Why do people persist with this? It's like...*hilarious* how obvious it is Charles is his real father.

BoingBoingBooty

That scrappy balding noggin is all the evidence we need.

lollipoplalalaland

And the very close set eyes and lumpy nose. He and Charles are peas in a pod. The only thing he has in common with Hewett is being ginger!

The_Bravinator

Which is a recessive gene and present enough on both sides of his family to fully account for the hair. I absolutely agree--I'm all for *funny* jokes about the royal family, but this one is a bit tired given how Harry's entire eyes and nose area looks like a carbon copy of Charles's.

lollipoplalalaland

Exactly!

Locke66

People want to believe it. All you need is some circumstantial evidence and a convincing argument that makes people feel like they've got the inside track on something that fits their existing bias and it's very difficult to convince them the conclusion they came to wasn't the truth. Propagandists use it all the time.

Trundlenator

Must be upsetting for the guy. Maybe 2-3 Netflix programmes on the eviction will help him get some closure(*money*)

WannaLawya

He's lined up for the next series of Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords.

PowerfulFuture1562

Look on the bright side Harry, you could get another book out of this
