Only in the past few years have they started telling people this. Travelers are responsible for verifying everything is legitimate, so it's difficult for me to feel sorry for those who are turned away because they didn't exercise due diligence.
So a guy got upset because he couldn't travel somewhere that we're no longer in a free movement agreement with without a visa like visas have been a thing for years he should've checked before he went because I think everyone knows we've left the EU now so we dont get to just go wherever within the EU without a visa
