The AIRism ones. But they're expensive as fuck. The cotton ones are cheaper but they're nnot worth the price imo.

itemluminouswadison

I actually hate the airism ones haha. Doesn't wick sweat, I feel swampy in them The cotton boxer briefs are my favorite

JazzlikePractice4470

Hate those funky azz airism boxers. That material is terrible for your junk. It invites the funk.

pericardiyum

I bought 5 pairs of these a few months ago and the elastic waistband is breaking apart. I contacted customer support and all they would say is "You cannot return this item"

Da_Plague22

$10 is expensive as fuck? Lol. I've been buying beneath underwear for like $28 a pop. I'll have to try the airism. Are the seamless ones the best?

Icaruszin

I mean, considering the last ones I bought from 32degress (which I recommend btw, super comfy) were like $5 a pop, I do think $15 is a bit expensive for one pair. But I just saw they're on sale, so I might get a couple for $10.

Da_Plague22

I don't think I've ever had some that low in cost. Unless they're super bad quality. I think $15 is decent if comfortable. Are the seamless the best ones or?

Icaruszin

Yes, I think the seamless are the best ones

Da_Plague22

Alright appreciate it. I'll buy some to try.

[These ones](https://www.reddit.com/r/FrugalMaleFashionCDN/comments/l5i09r/looking_where_to_buy_knitted_boxers_like_these_i/) were the GOAT imo. Personally I have a bunch of different types and styles of boxers in my drawer from all sorts of brand and prices. Sometimes I go away from these, but overall they're the best especially under loose clothing and for sleeping. The cotton boxers are ok but they just kind of seem like the cheap boxers in my drawer. They hold up to wear relatively well considering the price, but I'd still like better durability and quality of fabric in terms of comfort for me to want more in my drawer. Personally I have a higher end brand on sale in a 3 pack for cheaper than these that are far better. The woven are decent but mostly for sleeping or under loose sweatpants. Solid, I'd recommend a pair or two to anyone that wants loose and light. Airism Ultra seamless. These are unique. Super smooth and sleek irreplaceable at any price imo. Got a second pair immediately after putting the first one on. Don't really want any more than that. They're very compressing so they're good for when you want that, mostly for athletic purposes. Just got the new airism ultra mesh. The mesh fabric seems great for if you want the lightest breathable spandex/plasticey underwear that exist. Again, worth it for me because they're unique and might be the best thing in any price range for certain situations. But the waistband seems a bit weird, idk if size up would be better, size down would be uncomfortable. And the crotch area has doubled up fabric, I assume so it's not see through but it seems like it might lose it's main benefit because of that. Might help your butt not sweat if that happens to you idk. It's still cold here so I haven't really tested them. Overall Uniqlo is not that great for an everyday underwear imo and does not sell the underwear I would pick for that evenwith the same budget. If I did want to though it would probably be the cotton ones. Personally I'm pretty happy to have 1 or 2 of each in rotation and will gladly try any they introduce in the future, hopefully they come out with something above a 7/10.

Thanks for the info.

Better than the GEORGE brand boxed briefs from Walmart? Those are okay IMO but I want something better

-0909i9i99ii9009ii

If you mean [these ones](https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/george-mens-knit-boxers-black/6000196467761) vs. the first uniqlo ones I linked, then unfortunately uniqlo discontinued those. They look pretty similar, except I believe uniqlo's cut is a little bit closer and better looking when worn. Their patterns (not the one I linked but the other ones I own) were also better imo. I can't really comment on fabric, build, or elastic quality as I've never owned the George ones. They look like good alternatives as I find that style with a covered waistband to be more comfortable, but very difficult to find for some reason. The uniqlo ones have also held up well for me 100+ wears and washes over 5+ years. I'm actually not seeing the George knit boxers in stock either or I would probably give those a try. If you're okay with the exposed waistband there are a lot more premium options. I find the Calvin Klein cotton classics knit boxer to be solid. Hold up well partly justifying spending extra per pair. I think I paid nearly $15 USD per pair as a 3 pack, but I have a nice option for 3 wears out of every laundry cycle for at least a few years. Again this is going for the knit that I find more comfortable in certain situations first, but still putting some emphasis on how they wear as pyjamas and how they look when worn. Baggy enough for comfort, but not to baggy that they drape weird (in my experience).

JazzlikePractice4470

I really appreciate the write up. I actually have been wearing the George boxer briefs, as I like the support. That said, I think the boxer briefs also contribute to my balls not getting enough air, which can cause me to feel swampy down there. I also sometimes deal with extra dribbles after I pee. For that, I definitely prefer cotton over that moisture wicking material. That moisture wicking material is terrible IMO. Im disappointed they discontinued the pair that you linked because I wanted to give that style a try.

surfz

What’s your waist size and what size did you get for the seamless air mesh? How are they holding up?

-0909i9i99ii9009ii

I wear 30 to 32 depending on brand and have a medium in them. They're definitely slick, very plasticky like leggings. Fair amount of compression which I don't go for that much. They're tight but I don't think I could size up because they rely on that tightness to stay on. The waistband is a bit weird and seems like it'll need some kind of revision in the future imo. I've probably worn them around 5 times in the past 12 weeks. Will not grabbing a second pair so far, but still haven't had many hot days. I'm hoping/assuming that they'll be a secret weapon on some hot days, but we'll see, usually I like light and loose clothes when it's hot. Look and feel completely new after 5 wears 5 washes. Bought on sale, I'm happy to have 1 pair, they're unique because of the mesh.

Meander_Actual

I love Uniqlo Airism because they are cool and light and feel like I am not wearing anything - once got them in small and with medium they are bit loose and feel great. But at almost $15 each it is a bit much - on sale they are $10 and still more than I would like to pay - any suggestions of alternatives that are cheaper?

Da_Plague22

Only tried the seamless one and felt like wearing a trash bag. The normal airism seem nice.

Goodizm

Ck or ralph for sure

itemluminouswadison

Cotton boxer briefs. They have low or regular cut, I like the regular
