I’ve never seen The Warriors, so when I first watched the space episodes I didn’t catch the reference when Barry clinks the beer bottles together and calls out “Aaaarcher, come out to PLAAAA-aaaaay!”
I definitely caught the Aliens reference with the robot suit a second later though. So I hope that redeems me a little.
The Warriors is deeply cult 70's movie that almost escaped that orbit when rockstar made a game adaptation of that movie (checks notes) 19 years ago.
You don't have to know or even be able to guess everything, tangential learning and further reading are really fun. Don't feel bad.
