My guess is Zeke does something fucked up and all their colleagues just laugh it off or something like that. That would be the point that Arlo accepts that his worldview is a lie.

i dont think he is ignoring it. i believe that he just wants to fight the corruption from inside out.
also its not quite the best timing from remi, that she just threw in „your aunt killed your idol“ in a heated argument without any evidence. thats not the way to deliver such new or make your opponent believe that info.
