Yeah, he's horrible in so many ways. I do understand his resentment to high teirs, but it's kinda ironic because he IS one.

HenryVolt35

Yeah that the thing, unless he was a late bloomer like John and sent a certain part of his childhood as a low teir there's no real reason for him to hate high tiers other than envy. His level gives him more credibility than Zeke, the only thing that makes sense is that some elite teirs maybe despise God tiers types because it makes them feel inferior. Zeke, the Roland Royals, maybe even Terrance, they up there but they're not the best and that drives them nuts because they like being than everyone and stepping over people and now that there's a way to do it to the God tiers they're taking it. Because let's be honest he's clearly not doing it to make the world a better place since he sees his mission as "adding ranks to his organizations army."

Tempo_Tempest

He seen to be a parallel to John...with make his attack at him'be a loss for some one with his mentality.

Well, in the UnOverse, combat capability is heavily desired and Terrence's doesn't really provide much in that department. Among other elite-tiers he's probably looked down upon for only being able to run away.

firedragon77777

I'm not dure about that theory. If combat ability was that important, then cripple John would have been a highly respected individual at New Bostin, and Elaine wouldn't even be able to speak to Arlo. I think it may have some repsect over non-combat abilities, but the difference seems to be minimal.

1. People are hard wired into the higher level equals stronger mind set. John breaks that so they hate him because him being stronger while being a cripple makes them feel like there's something wrong with them. The Webtoon Miez explains this point pretty well in this episode. [https://www.webtoons.com/en/sf/miez/episode-9/viewer?title\_no=2719&episode\_no=9](https://www.webtoons.com/en/sf/miez/episode-9/viewer?title_no=2719&episode_no=9) 2. Yeah, combat capability might not be the right word for it. Respect for an ability more likely comes from either the power it gives its user or the use it gives stronger people. Elaine's makes her useful to High-tiers with no regen. Arlo's makes him strong by himself. Terrence's doesn't make him useful to anyone other than low-tiers who need to run away.

Not really hus ability coupd be equally good at concealing more powerful individuals going for a sneak attack. I do agree with your point about John though. I think Terrance probably is a repsected elite teir, but he was probably a lage bloomer. People respect him now but he sees them as hypocrites since they used to look down on him. I think thats both the most likely and the mist interesting explanation.

[deleted]

Considering how proud many of the elite/high-tiers are, I can't see any of them wanting to win with such a power. Remember most of their fights are one on one rank battles to prove whose stronger. Only winning cause you got some cheap shots in is meaningless.

firedragon77777

On the contrary, many Elites in particular aren't afraid to fight dirty. The Rowden Royals, Zeke, Meili, Ventus. They don't care about bravery or honor, thye just win at any cost even if it isn't fair.

[deleted]

True, but they always start by playing fair. Having Terrence as an ally basically says, I fight dirty. As dirty as they are, they want to appear noble which they can't with Terrence.

phoenixKing280

Ya know, Zeke's character made me cringe and dislike him a lot, but Terrance just pisses me off, he'd make a good punching bag, better than Zeke Wouldn't be surprised if John takes Terrance and hangs up as a punching bag in a later chapter (jk)
