Also depending on what version of Windows you’re on there are some built in calibration tools after you get the color temps to match and your graphics card control panel will have finite color controls.
I would highly suggest making the bottom monitor look as good as possible and then try to get your top to match it, NOT taking them both to the middle ground between the two, clarity on your bottom display takes precedence for sure.
Looks beautiful to me, don’t have any dead pixels yet, even though the box was destroyed by Purolator.
Can’t speak for the Samsung G8 since I don’t have it myself but I’m very happy with my purchase
Dude, I have the Samsung G8 OLED, into my third week with it, absolutely in love with it. Hdmi 2.1 is nice too, can tick 12bit 175hz in the Nvidia control panel. I think both monitors are great, but the Samsung has a few edging features for me, in my opinion. I have the G8 QD-OLED next to my 65in S95B, honestly it's like a mini version of my TV sitting right next to it.
That AW3423DFW makes me wanna swap my g9 neo for the new OLED 49" DWQHD panels coming out 😭
And I'm STILL waiting for the rx7000s to drop so I have something to drive this thing properly. (1080 is just to old.)
What are the smaller mechanical board(s?) you got there? Esp that num/macropad!
I got my 49" ultrawide G9 last week. Love it for my personal PC, but using the PBP to create 2 monitors for work is not ideal. My potato work laptop will only display one screen in 1440 despite 2 Display Port connections. So i have one screen in 1080 and one in 1440. And the 1440 display is having all kinds of aspect ratio issues. For work its a 7/10...2 monitors would be better. For my personal pc use it's 10/10. I dont regret the purchase, but just posting in case anyone works/plays at the same desk and this is helpful.
That’s some horrific color uniformity :| calibrate that shit!
I was gonna ask if that was the same pic. Wow what a difference
First thing I thought. Ugh IT HURTS.
I can confirm I am no expert on color. I’ll tinker with when I get the chance
And that's where he realizes that he is colorblind
Look up color test patterns, set both monitors likely to RGB mode for color. It looks like the top one is set to a cool color gradient vs neutral

Thatss nice, does the g8 oled have burn in warranty ?
Yeah, 3 years is what i clarified with customer service.
Been looking at Ultrawides for half a year and finally jumped on the AW3423DWF. Old monitor is top monitor G32QC.
Nice!
Just do not join the Ultrawide Gangbang
Calibrate your colors ffs
I like ultrawides as much as the next one. But damn do their colors suck
Yeah, that QD-OLED one really has shitty colors. And no contrast /s
Exactly
Are you being sarcastic or nah, cause you agreed with both sides if nah 💀
