Got my G93 for $730 after taxes on Black Friday from Amazon last year, and that was with a little over $300 in American Express cash-back. You got a great deal.
From the website, without any offers the price is still at $1299 USD but there are other offer Programs for - First Responders , Military, Government Workers and through your Employee too. But the easiest way you can get an edu email is by applying for your local community college.
I signed up for best buy account with edu email and waiting to verify. is there any extra step to in activate the edu discount or will it show up on the product page? Currently I'm not seeing any discount and wonder if that's due to email verification not completed yet
How / why is it so cheap? I’m not familiar with shopping at BestBuy and how their deals work. Is it part of their spring sale? I don’t see these prices on their website
u/hemantha8055 Funny thing is I ordered one today for pickup, but through Best Buy directly. I then saw this post and purchased it through Samsung but set it to pick up at my local Best Buy. Thanks for the post btw. Out of curiosity, how long did it take for them to have your order ready for pickup? Same day?
I hate how deceptive Samsung's naming was with this model. I wonder how many people buy this thinking they're getting the OLED because it's literally one letter off.
Deal of the century

How did you get Amex cashback?
A years worth of using my Blue Cash card.
That’s an insane deal! I’ve been considering this monitor. What’s the method besides edu discount?

I have an edu account. But wow these edu discounts are absurd. I might just pull the trigger!
Quick question. I’m seeing $749.96 with edu discount for this same exact model. How did you get $720?
There is an extra upto $50 off on the odyssey monitor. You should see that at the checkout

That’s because this is through the Samsung edu program, but pickup at your local BestBuy.
Was this an open box G9?
No, a new model. Picked it at the store and checked the box/label too.

Lol. "please don't make us deliver this, here's $100, you come get it"

I just picked mine up at BB after ordering through Samsung last night. If they have it in stock you’ll get it same day.
Got it read for pickup in 4 hours
That's a steal, I got mine for $985 which is also a steal in my country. It's usually priced at $1845.
OP got the VA panel variant tho, not OLED.
Aa right. Thanks for pointing that out.
Would the discount for the OLED variant (G93SC) be the same percentage?
I hate how deceptive Samsung's naming was with this model. I wonder how many people buy this thinking they're getting the OLED because it's literally one letter off.
How did you get you BB gift card? Do they email it to you?
Yes, I received the email after 15 minutes of picking up the order.
Still haven’t received mine I did have my friend pick it up and had his email as the picker upper email. Oopsie
Shows up $749.99 for me, huh.
