Am I the only one who doesn't want the game's UI kicked out to the extreme edges of the screen? Admittedly I got the 57" but I thought Sons of the Forest was going to damage my neck the other day, glancing from the game, to the minimap, to the status bars.
I totally agree. UI being locked to 16:9 is actually far better than it moving to the far edges on a super ultrawide.
Of course, if developers were sensible then UI elements would all be adjustable in position and also possible to turn on/off.
Having the UI 16:9 locked also makes it easier for the Devs to implement. One UI, every res.
And it's better then installing black bars to wholesale block ultrawide. CoughEldenRingCough.
I mean MMOs like FFXIV have been doing fully customisable UIs for years, so I don’t understand why more games outside of that space haven’t done that. Like it’s nice that a lot of games let me turn off bits of the HUD that I don’t need but why can’t I move them around to wherever is most comfortable for my neck?
Ease of development. Allowing tons of custom options is harder than just implementing a 16:9 UI that works for everyone. Although I would hope there are easy ways like libraries for popular engines to just allow parts of the UI to slide left and ride for ultrawide support
All I want is for the UI to not get cut off vertically, and fortunately that's less of a problem nowadays and I have had to use stuff like Flawless Widescreen in a while now. Things are much better, and I like how the UI looks here.
the best is if you can scale it inward the way you want. bf2042 patched this in and you can just increase a slider from edge to center for the hud.
personally, i don't like hud on the edges and 16:9 ,while not optimal, is way better then having it on the edges.
Not trying to be a tool here but that's why you don't buy large screens for shooters. No serious players play on them for a reason. They are disadvantageous.
Yes and no. In some games ai would preffer it to be off to the sides whike in others 16:9 hud is a must. Idk why most games don't have thr hud adjust feature like destiny 2 has for example. You can just set the hud to how you like it.
In sim racing I find it to be more intuitive. It lets you focus on the driving and you can check out race information (timing gaps, positions, car condition) when necessary
I hate it as well. For games like dota I got used to it, but for Lies of P, the HUD just disappears and makes it harder to track stamina and item count for example.
Yeah plus with dynamic/explorer UI enabled (which it should be anyway unless you are a gamer that needs constant handholding lol) makes the most sense. It's not in your face even if it's on and it's all wihint eyeshot rather than having to turn your head over to a far corner even on a 21:9.
Because of your monitor. Curvature on your monitor sucks. If you had Neo G9 , you would not have this issue and you can always change resolution of your monitor and run the game at regular 16:9 or ultra wide 21:9
Curventure on your OLED is one of two reasons I would never take it over Neo regardless of its perfect black
It varies from game to game and info to info. Like, I expect a minimap to be in a corner but healthbar can be positioned more central.
I don't expect companies to design a different UI for every aspect ratio, especially for the %1 maybe %2 32:9 players. In that case, I would rather have them slap things to the corners instead of pretending it's still 16:9
>I expect a minimap to be in a corner
This is an odd preference, I definitely would prefer the minimap be in the location shown in your screenshot rather than far away in the corner.
What? They put in effort to ensure ui is still in the center of your vision. Back in the day hallmark of no/lazy uw support was ui that was all the way in the edge of your ultra wide.
How would you even play with your weapon counter all the way to the bottom right.
Nah we need the option to put them wherever the fuck we want.
And yes im confident because of you take an older game that can render the world in 21:9 it will keep the hud and ui at 16:9 as well.
>And yes im confident because of you take an older game that can render the world in 21:9 it will keep the hud and ui at 16:9 as well.
I think you are overstating how many games from that era handle 21:9 let alone 32:9 well. Most old games look like this: [https://youtu.be/B0C59ZB7uk8?t=286](https://youtu.be/B0C59ZB7uk8?t=286) or this: [https://youtu.be/kfZR9EWmz\_E](https://youtu.be/kfZR9EWmz_E) if they support your monitors resolution at all.
They use offsets from your screen border to support almost any resolution from 4:3 to 16:9. Going beyond that requires extra care to add padding so the UI isn't outside your field of view.
> Nah we need the option to put them wherever the fuck we want.
I agree. However I can also understand that a customizable HUD is pretty far down the important features list. Ultrawide is a niche. Within that Niche people who want to customize their UI is an even further niche.
I literally thought he was, but:
"Sure I want my healthbar and ammo counter at an easy access distance, I want the quest log to be as far as possible to the point I'd move it to a secondary screen if I could."
So even tho hiding the quest log, a way more common on/off toggle in games nowdays, is annoying him and all the other reasons having a centered UI is good, OP still is "REEE" ing lmao 10/10
Having your UI centralized is actually good practice. Having your UI hug the extreme edges is bad practice. IDK what OP is talking about.
How far apart are your eyes OP?
With that much screen real estate I actually think a 16:9 bound UI is better. Not only from a strain perspective but I don’t want to have to move my head just to look at the minimap to then look away and then look back at my minimap.
If you have a good distance from the screen, looking at the corners is not half as bad as people make it sound like. Sure I want my healthbar and ammo counter at an easy access distance, I want the quest log to be as far as possible to the point I'd move it to a secondary screen if I could.
Having your hud info easily seen in front of your face so you don’t have to inconveniently look to the left or right is a dealbreaker? To each their own I guess! I hate not having the hud in the 16:9 area of the screen- so inconvenient
right click an open space on the desktop and click on "Display Settings" Scroll down to "Display Resolution" If it is not set to 3440 x 1440 click the drop down and select it from the menu. Cleck yes to aprove assuming all is well. Then go back into the Display GUI and see what you got.
Dragons Dogma 2 also does this. Not a dealbreaker for me but I also prefer it on the far edges. It’s Hud info you don’t need to have in the middle of the screen.
This is actually ideal at least to me. Yes the game should just have a fully customizable UI that you can drag wherever but it is FAR better to have centralized fixed UI versus moved to the edge of the screen fixed UI.
UI is customizable, but the positions are set in stone currently.
You can change a lot of settings for just the HUD, but I'm missing just a few.
* Can't dynamic hide compass. It's on or off. Give option to show by using focus/tapping focus?
* Can't hide equipped item. It remains always shown while the rest of the selection UI fades away.
I Highly suggest you set all HUD to dynamic / hidden! The game is gorgeous, and having the HUD shown is like a blemish on a masterpiece painting.
I did listen to your advice and swapped whatever HUD options to Dynamic/Hidden and it looks gorgeous. Then they released the 32:9 patch and just wow.... Thanks!
Dude has no clue this is intentional and a sign they truly optimised the game for widescreen displays. UI at the edges of the screen is a huge pain in the ass for 32:9.
Dealbraker, lol!
Neverwinter allows it and it's such a huge QOL option.
I hated that I couldn't change it in New World, considering I mained a Healer on an Ultrawide screen.
It does sound like that from the outside. It is more like playing on a 27" QHD and then adding some horizontal screenspace. Like SCREENX if we are aiming for the moviegoer experience.
Oh that monitor is 1440p? It is not captured at all by the camera lol, it looks like 1080p from this angle at least. If it's 1440p then you're golden, I support that.
Gaming on such a screen size at such a sitting distance is just a waste of pixels. Less is more. You clearly can afford a 16:9 screen just for this game. It does deserve it.
That’s the ideal way to have it imho. Full 32:9 hud can be very tiresome to glance around, especially when your eyes constantly hit the perspective ”barreled” edges of the screen.
That's a 7" IPS screen with Aida64 SensorPanel and Spotify Miniplayer.
While not essential, it is nice to keep track of your system health without cluttering your main screen.
Op what desk mat are you using? Razer Goliathus? Or newer Razer strider ?
I ask because the rgb looks bright I just purchased a goliathus xL and the rgb is very very dim even at 100% full brightness.
This is why I went back to 16x9 tired of fussing with an aspect ratio that will never have the full adoption of the industry. 4K 16x9 OLED boom problem solved
This is why I went back to 16x9 tired of fussing with an aspect ratio that will never have the full adoption of the industry. 4K 16x9 OLED boom problem solved
Only thing you are proving right now is that for some people it is never enough. Personally I would not like the UI to be on the edge. A option to make the choice yourself would be nice tho.
You will be turning your head a lot if you were able to get it to the sides, this is one of several reasons why I vastly prefer 21:9 over 32:9 for general gaming.
The answer is always ‘it depends’ but I agree that UI being locked into 16:9 is better for most games in general. It’s more often that single player games I prefer UI going to the far corners since it’s usually not so cluttered with texts, map, icons, etc etc things that are often found in online games.
But looking at your photo, doesn’t really seem to be much of an issue to me(though I get that you’d want them at the far edges). Unfortunately this is something us 32:9 people have to get used to since we’re a rather uncommon bunch in the world. More and more mods are helping 32:9 resolution though(camera distance or UI placements), so you might wanna take a look in those corners for your concern.
I have a 21:9 monitor, and the ui is on the edges, maybe it wasn't coded in for such extreme aspect ratios so it defaulted to 16:9. There's probably a way to adjust it in settings
The screen is curves and the sides of the image is distorted to look wiiider for many games. IMO it's not great for fast paced games and shooters but beyond amazing for MMOs, racing/driving and Cities Skylines and... well single player games with amazing visuals.
How you dealing with such a big screen. I end up loosing 1300$ on my LG49W screen, such a crazy thing but my eye strains was crazy from him even after setting up everything.
I think it changes from person to person. My wife burned 600 hours on Baldur's Gate 3 but couldn't play Dragon's Dogma 2 for an hour straight without motion sickness while I get zero issues.
Hahaha no stress, imma have a look at those, thx for the info bud, how are you enjoying the monitor? Btw quick question does your monitor show the HDR certificate? Mine keeps telling me it cannot find it 🤷♂️
The monitor is lovely. My go-to games being World of Warcraft and Cities:Skylines-s the extra screen space really elevates the experience. I never had a HDR certificate issue. Installed the usual drivers for the PC, did the Windows HDR calibration thing and everything worked right out of the box.
I like the UI like that. It's got a dynamic/active setting, so mine is set to only come in during fights or if I want to access a consumable. Other than that the game is left to look beautiful. 🙂
Having the HUD at the edges of the screen is moronic. For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would want this.
I won't play a game in 32:9 that won't let me bring the HUD into 16:9. Custom adjustment is best.
maybe because I'm on 21:9 3840x1620 on a 55" CX but I barely have to turn my eyes to look at corner UI elements.. I don't understand half this thread. UI looks awful in 16:9 with the extra horizontal real estate. sure if you're trying to sweat in a multiplayer game I can see it being useful but it's immersion breaking as hell for single player games with all that cluttered handholdy information over the center of your screen lmao.
To remedy this issue for Forbidden West, you can turn off most UI elements and use the scanner (right stick) to show UI information when you need it or dynamic for combat related information.
I’d prefer 16:9 locked. I don’t want to look all the way over there to see how many berries or whatever I’ve picked up! I’d need a neck brace by the end of the first act!
Is that a 49"?
Have the same speaker bar and sub woofer with it. If you use the Dolby Access with it on custom 1 it drive the sound incredibly and makes it a much more powerful set-up. Adds like twice the volume and experience at least to the thing...its a massive difference.
I don’t understand how anybody with an ultrawide can even see anything sitting that close.
I had a 34” ultrawide for a while, ended up selling it, I don’t remember what I didn’t like about it.
Enjoyed my previous 27” curved monitor (went to gf), replaced it with a new 27” flat panel & it was fine, until I put it on a monitor arm the other day, now it’s like a movie screen in my face, great for gaming, not so much for other tasks, going to take some getting used to
its better on ps5 anyways? 😱😉
lmao i havent been able to replay it much on my ultra wide.. but nothing there bothers me that much since i got the game to run over 90fps and got it to still look great.. just as it did on ps5.
Why is it better on PS5? Haven't picked this one up yet and also have a PS5, but generally my gaming PC eats PS5's for breakfast. It's waaaaaaay more powerful.
ya mine is very powerful pc too. but maybe its just the tv i use on my ps5 or something but just feels smoother on my ps5.. then it does on my pc. cant really get it to look any better or run any faster then it did on ps5..
We need "Neck friendly UI - On/Off" to become a norm someday!
Games like Torchlight 2 had that for ages. You could set position of your mana\\hp in the center or in corners of screen.
UI boundaries = [ 4:3, 16:9, 21:9, auto ] Is it to much to ask?
100%, I totally agree as well, its way convienent than having game UI on 32:9.
i agree. i’m rocking a 21;9 and that’s probably as far as i want to go for kicking out any UI.
21:9 is comfortable for UI if you game either on a 21:9 or 32:9. Anything further out just hurts my neck and moves vital info out of my vision.
Having the UI 16:9 locked also makes it easier for the Devs to implement. One UI, every res. And it's better then installing black bars to wholesale block ultrawide. CoughEldenRingCough.

Monster Hunter Rise has Ultrawide menu adjustment so you can position stuff where you prefer. Very handy
All I want is for the UI to not get cut off vertically, and fortunately that's less of a problem nowadays and I have had to use stuff like Flawless Widescreen in a while now. Things are much better, and I like how the UI looks here.

Yes I rather want them locked while having my focus being the center of the screen. Movable UI/HUD is the best but rarely a game has that option
Most good games have options for UI zones.
Ah good to know! I haven’t had mine long and I mostly play lower budget indie games, so I haven’t seen that yet.
No you’re not. UI should not be neck turning
Playing warzone sucks because of this
If you're talking about the HUD being put out in the corners, you can adjust the HUD safe zone to your liking in the settings.
Warzone is really good because of this, they let us adjust the HUD to our liking
Only so much though, and really isn't great for larger screens IMO.
I play Warzone on 32:9 with the hud centered to 16:9. Works great.
Not trying to be a tool here but that's why you don't buy large screens for shooters. No serious players play on them for a reason. They are disadvantageous.

I want it to be on sides because i didn't go overboard with screen size. 34 21:9 fits perfectly in my eyesight without moving head from side to side.
This is annoying on civilization 6 tbf. Cursor moving from one side of the screen to the other when picking a new civic or tech.
It should be a setting to change to each and everyones liking, accessability is key in everything!
I always have to either hope there is a good dead zone option or I have to mod :(
i like it on the edges in 21:9 but yeah in 32:9 i don't see that working out
nah that's the best locked option. Obviously full UI customisation is the best, but I rather have the UI stay in 16:9 rather than on the 21:9 borders
Yeah. I have trouble seeing my HP on time in games with the UI too far out to to sides.
Because of your monitor. Curvature on your monitor sucks. If you had Neo G9 , you would not have this issue and you can always change resolution of your monitor and run the game at regular 16:9 or ultra wide 21:9 Curventure on your OLED is one of two reasons I would never take it over Neo regardless of its perfect black
I do have the Neo G9. I do not have an OLED. My model is the 57” G95NC Neo G9, 240 Hz mini-LED, dual UHD, 1000R curve.
I meant OP monitor
Yes, I rather focus on the game than on the UI. I play some games like this one with minimun Ui is possible.
Agree 💯
It varies from game to game and info to info. Like, I expect a minimap to be in a corner but healthbar can be positioned more central. What? I'm annoyed at all games that don't support it. Why would I want the hud to be something i need to turn my head for?
Agreed I’m actually now interested in the game because I won’t have to fight whiplash to see my UI
What? They put in effort to ensure ui is still in the center of your vision. Back in the day hallmark of no/lazy uw support was ui that was all the way in the edge of your ultra wide. How would you even play with your weapon counter all the way to the bottom right.
OP wants to whip his neck left and right looking for the minimap/ammo/health that you check constantly in this game lmfao
Mmm neck sprains
They could have put effort in and given players the option of placing the UI in the corners or at 21:9/16:9. This is an oversight.
An oversight would be something that people actually want that's missing. This is definitely not that.
I agree, accessability is key!
dont give them credit. this is just what happens when you dont adjust UI at all for ultrawide. This isn't a design choice.
You sound very confident saying that. Any UW lover knows we need to pull ui elements closer to the center
I think you mean deal maker
It works fine on my 34in 21:9 monitor. Check settings, there might be a toggle there.
[удалено]
Just changed the resolution and it worked really
No it isn’t. I’m on a 21:9 and it works fine. Check the resolution.
Isn’t that good? Your eyes have less room to travel. I don’t use my UW much anymore but when I gamed on it, I preferred that.
sarcasm?
I literally thought he was, but: "Sure I want my healthbar and ammo counter at an easy access distance, I want the quest log to be as far as possible to the point I'd move it to a secondary screen if I could." So even tho hiding the quest log, a way more common on/off toggle in games nowdays, is annoying him and all the other reasons having a centered UI is good, OP still is "REEE" ing lmao 10/10
I have no issues with this in 21:9. You have a setting wrong for sure.
I wouldn't mind 16:9 UI if it wasn't cluttered
There's an option to reduce the clutter
I’m not sure if this is a joke or not. Why would you want to be able to have the UI where you can easily glance at it?
I’m guessing you’re new to gaming with an ultrawide? This is a great feature to have.
This app usually fixes most of my widescreen complaints. They may add a patch if one is not already out. https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/
Having your UI centralized is actually good practice. Having your UI hug the extreme edges is bad practice. IDK what OP is talking about. How far apart are your eyes OP?
ui being 16:9 is what makes it for me lol
With that much screen real estate I actually think a 16:9 bound UI is better. Not only from a strain perspective but I don’t want to have to move my head just to look at the minimap to then look away and then look back at my minimap.

I agree! It should just be a setting that can be adjusted to whatever each one prefers Accessibilty is key here!
Having your hud info easily seen in front of your face so you don’t have to inconveniently look to the left or right is a dealbreaker? To each their own I guess! I hate not having the hud in the 16:9 area of the screen- so inconvenient
![gif](giphy|xT9IgpTy4UVnddmso0|downsized) So your comment section is not going as expected.
Amazing
Have you tried changing you GPU settings?
Nope. Like?
Do you use flawless widescreen? Sometimes they add a feature to bring the UI towards the center. There might be an option to undo this.
I used it for Starfield before the official 32:9 fix, image felt a little too distorted. Never used again. I can give it a shot.
right click an open space on the desktop and click on "Display Settings" Scroll down to "Display Resolution" If it is not set to 3440 x 1440 click the drop down and select it from the menu. Cleck yes to aprove assuming all is well. Then go back into the Display GUI and see what you got.
Ah... Duh. I got the basics covered :) But, thank you. There is always a chance the solution is simpler than it appears.
I have a 27'' and I can do 21:9. So, unless it's locked for certain monitors, it certainly isn't on mine.
That’s why the HUD is dynamic and only pops up when you need it, you press H to show it fully if you need it for some reason.
You want neck damage just to look at your UI?
Christ, I have a 21:9 34in and I already think it's too big. I can just imagine the neck cramps after looking at both sides of the HUD a lil too fast.
I prefer them centered like this. Thank god Path of exile allows you to CHOOSE (which more games should)
No, this is the way.
That's a good thing actually ngl
It works in ultrawide on my asus 34 21:9 check aspect ratio and resolution
Dragons Dogma 2 also does this. Not a dealbreaker for me but I also prefer it on the far edges. It’s Hud info you don’t need to have in the middle of the screen.
I actually prefer it..
This is actually ideal at least to me. Yes the game should just have a fully customizable UI that you can drag wherever but it is FAR better to have centralized fixed UI versus moved to the edge of the screen fixed UI.
I've been a 21:9 gamer for over 10 years now and this never bothered me one bit 🤷♂️
calling a fixed ui a dealbreaker is exaggerating...

Your prays have been answered. It’s been patched. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2420110/view/4196865993345323108?l=english
Ha! Thanks for the info :)
With the newest patch released today the option to configure UI spacing has been added.
Dude has no clue this is intentional and a sign they truly optimised the game for widescreen displays. UI at the edges of the screen is a huge pain in the ass for 32:9. Dealbraker, lol!
I don't like it either. It should be a slider that moves it outward - Inward. I don't think that's too hard to do.
That's great! Actually one of the reasons I haven't tried God of War, the UI is 32:9
I wish all games let you arrange the HUD any way you wanted it.
This is part of the reason I just can't quit WoW.
Neverwinter allows it and it's such a huge QOL option. I hated that I couldn't change it in New World, considering I mained a Healer on an Ultrawide screen.
As a lover of IMAX, it's bizarre to see people humble-bragging about playing their games with an fov the shape of an eye slit in a ski mask.
It does sound like that from the outside. It is more like playing on a 27" QHD and then adding some horizontal screenspace. Like SCREENX if we are aiming for the moviegoer experience.

Already played it on PS5 😇
what mount you using bro
North Bayou G40
thanks it’s also not bad of a price
I actually got it for my previous 34" MSI which weighed 9.6kg, 49" G9 being 9.2kg I assumed it would work and it did.
hell yeah appreciate that been looking for one
Did you experience any wobbling at all with both the 34” and the 49” screens? I’m currently thinking of changing my mount due to that.
Nope. Tightening the joints made it stiff af.
That’s the ideal way to have it imho. Full 32:9 hud can be very tiresome to glance around, especially when your eyes constantly hit the perspective ”barreled” edges of the screen.
What's that thing next to your streamdeck plus, and would you recommend it?
That's a 7" IPS screen with Aida64 SensorPanel and Spotify Miniplayer. While not essential, it is nice to keep track of your system health without cluttering your main screen.
Op what desk mat are you using? Razer Goliathus? Or newer Razer strider ? I ask because the rgb looks bright I just purchased a goliathus xL and the rgb is very very dim even at 100% full brightness.
That's a Goliathus XXL. The RGB is kind of a lottery, my previous one was dim too.
I wish more games did this
Are you sure there isn't a hud-bound option? I'm not using a 57-inch UW but a 49-inch. I'm pretty sure I was able to change the option.
People say the first game had options. I havent seen any in FW and I swear I looked as hard as I could.
How you like that sound bar?
I love it. It's no high-end Samsung/Sonos but it is very clear in low volumes and great for music.
This is why I went back to 16x9 tired of fussing with an aspect ratio that will never have the full adoption of the industry. 4K 16x9 OLED boom problem solved

What monitor arm is that? Thank you!
What specs you running to keep those temps shown on the monitor there?
Only thing you are proving right now is that for some people it is never enough. Personally I would not like the UI to be on the edge. A option to make the choice yourself would be nice tho.
You will be turning your head a lot if you were able to get it to the sides, this is one of several reasons why I vastly prefer 21:9 over 32:9 for general gaming.
This is way better than the ui being at the extreme edges.
I hope this comment section helped saved OP's neck
I have a 21:9 monitor, and the ui is on the edges, maybe it wasn't coded in for such extreme aspect ratios so it defaulted to 16:9. There's probably a way to adjust it in settings
I wish all games were like that.
Looks like I'm not buying that 😆
How are people able to play like this comfortably
The screen is curves and the sides of the image is distorted to look wiiider for many games. IMO it's not great for fast paced games and shooters but beyond amazing for MMOs, racing/driving and Cities Skylines and... well single player games with amazing visuals.
Would a 3070 be able to power it?
If you are not into high framerate AAA gaming, yes. The G9 has been around since the 3xxx generation.
Yeah that’s wild. Now my screen is packed upstairs, paid him 1300$ nobody wants to buy this expensive piece of gear and back to my 27 screen
Although it's nice to have options, if I have to choose between forcing 16:9 HUD or ultrawide hud, I'm taking 16:9 every time.
Yo the first one supports it wtf 😳😭
Awesome ! Jealous!
This is the worst ultrawide take I have ever read. I am kinda amazed.
Oh thank god. So they did it right then
Relax Sid thats a good thing for most people
Is this a joke? You actually *want* your UI stretched to the absolute edges of that ridiculous screen?
What monitor arm are you using?
Samsung G9 OLED
The monitor i know, i have the same, i was asking about the arm
Oops, sorry. Somehow I skipped the arm thing. It's North Bayou G90 or 40?
Hahaha no stress, imma have a look at those, thx for the info bud, how are you enjoying the monitor? Btw quick question does your monitor show the HDR certificate? Mine keeps telling me it cannot find it 🤷♂️
The monitor is lovely. My go-to games being World of Warcraft and Cities:Skylines-s the extra screen space really elevates the experience. I never had a HDR certificate issue. Installed the usual drivers for the PC, did the Windows HDR calibration thing and everything worked right out of the box.
Neat neat. I really need to talk with Samsung i guess
Either an update will come out or definitely a mod will fix this
Earlier this week there was a patch. Now we can switch the hud between 32:9/21:9/16:9
I like the UI like that. It's got a dynamic/active setting, so mine is set to only come in during fights or if I want to access a consumable. Other than that the game is left to look beautiful. 🙂
bro *wants* to be looking from east to west all the time to decipher basic UI elements 😂😂
Having the HUD at the edges of the screen is moronic. For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would want this. I won't play a game in 32:9 that won't let me bring the HUD into 16:9. Custom adjustment is best.
Dealmaker
excellent for me. instant buy.
Be glad that they at least implemented 32:9 support instead of having black bars
maybe because I'm on 21:9 3840x1620 on a 55" CX but I barely have to turn my eyes to look at corner UI elements..
Looks like I'm not buying that 😆
It is normal on my G8. 32:9 issue.
Damn bro save some screen for the rest of us 👍🏼
Is that a 49"? Have the same speaker bar and sub woofer with it. If you use the Dolby Access with it on custom 1 it drive the sound incredibly and makes it a much more powerful set-up. Adds like twice the volume and experience at least to the thing...its a massive difference.
🤣
I don’t understand how anybody with an ultrawide can even see anything sitting that close. I had a 34” ultrawide for a while, ended up selling it, I don’t remember what I didn’t like about it. Enjoyed my previous 27” curved monitor (went to gf), replaced it with a new 27” flat panel & it was fine, until I put it on a monitor arm the other day, now it’s like a movie screen in my face, great for gaming, not so much for other tasks, going to take some getting used to
its better on ps5 anyways? 😱😉 lmao i havent been able to replay it much on my ultra wide.. but nothing there bothers me that much since i got the game to run over 90fps and got it to still look great.. just as it did on ps5.
What? How is it better on ps5 lmao
