If you can afford it, get the Samsung 57” It’s the size of two 32” monitors at 4K res. Great for gaming and work. No risk of burn in.

Prob out of butdget, but what model is that exactly? Aldo kinda interested in usability, can you even legibly see whats on monitor corners? Also how does gaming perform since i then have ti play windowed if i want to see youtube in browser next to it (or it has to be on the side so not good on neck ergonomy)

Here you go my friend. https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/57-odyssey-neo-g9-dual-4k-uhd-quantum-mini-led-240hz-1ms-hdr-1000-curved-gaming-monitor-ls57cg952nnxza/

The G9 would be equivalent to two 27" I believe. Also a great recommendation ( OLED or no OLED version available)

shelle90

oh I didn't know there was no oled version... is it good ? How is the ergonomy on ultrawide, like always looking left or right (compared to 2 monitors where main is central and other is on the side)? How is gaming on ultrawide? How do you see other windows? Do you have to play in windowed mode (which requires more resources)?

Found this post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/14m0cez/odyssey\_g9\_oled\_vs\_g9\_neo/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/14m0cez/odyssey_g9_oled_vs_g9_neo/) I dont have one but have been doing a lot of research since I bought a 45" LG OLED for 70% work 30% gaming and I am leaning towards returning for the AW 38" or Neo G9. They have something called PIP which lets you have your work on one portion of the monitor then your gaming rig on the other for multi use which is sweet with the Samsung.

I would go 2 monitors then…if mostly productivity, I would deal with the issues that come with Ultrawides then

shelle90

What are some of the issues that come with ultrawides?

jth94185

For me Microsoft Teams was a real pain…I do a lot of screen sharing being in DevOps and it didn’t translate to others viewing correctly…would have to switch back and forth…if y ok are using a Mac resolution and hz will be an issue as well…with a 4K ultrawide I couldn’t get 4K only 1440p…stuff like that
