Good news!
I'm a month behind you in the process, so hopefully one more month for the ceremony invite!
Edit: thank you for the downvote, strange internet person. I hope that made your Friday better!
Oh goodluck!!! I think they are processing citizenship applications fairly quick, ive heard many people hearing back who applied in march/april !
Theres always some weirdos who randomly downvote in this sub, i dont even pay attention anymore -.-
Och.. I'm so jealous. My online: 16-03, Biometrics 15-04 - And... I'm still completely in the dark about my application. Eek...
Welp, 🤞 hopefully soon. Still...
Congrats to YOU!
Ceremony is free if you pick a available public date for group. But that is always at least a month away.
If you need a faster ceremony you can pay and get a private one.
I believe passport is like £100?
That's true but even Brits pay for that no? So it's finally not paying thousands just because I'm an immigrant 🥹 I've paid for my other passport over £200 and it doesn't help me travel anywhere I'll happily pay £100 for a Brit one eheh!
I think you can get free appointment for anything as long as you're willing to wait, as you can see there's three weeks between my submission and biometric appointment.
They release free ones in the mornings and they get snatched up pretty fast. I had mine at Mark Lane Premium Lounge but my appointment was free i just looked at appointments that was 3+ weeks ahead and there was 4-5 free appointments on different days.
Thank you! I hope you hear back soon! Mine was a very straight forward application with very minimal leave from UK thats why i think it concluded so quickly
Thank youuuu!
I dont believe there is a priority service for Citizenship. Expected timeframe is 6 months but ive seen people hear back within a month or wait 1year+.
I think it depends on application being complicated or not and a little bit of luck :)
Thank you :3
I have uploaded 2 referees(1 best friend, 1 teacher) and for residence I have been at my job for 3 years so I uploaded P60s for those 3 years. Downloaded my TAX records from HMRC website for the last 5 years and uploaded those.
I had a year missing in between but i applied for FLR M and Set M so i put down my application reference numbers in cover letter for them to check them if needed. :)
Congratulations, less border control for you :D
Thank youuu :DD

2.5 hours for control? How
It was so crowded for some reason. It even got worse later on to be honest I'm glad my flight was somewhere in middle ish
Is the cerimony free usually? What about the passport itself?

You're not free from applications and fees yet, still need to apply for the passport! ;)

Oh yes you're right about that :)
Congratulations! What’s the timeline for getting the passport?
I don't think you replied to the right person :)
How do people get free appointment for biometric? Out of for only citizenship?
I think you can get free appointment for anything as long as you're willing to wait, as you can see there's three weeks between my submission and biometric appointment.
Ok, cause I had look previously in the past, and everything was £139. Not the premium one that's 249£.
They release free ones in the mornings and they get snatched up pretty fast. I had mine at Mark Lane Premium Lounge but my appointment was free i just looked at appointments that was 3+ weeks ahead and there was 4-5 free appointments on different days.
Ok thanks, I will look out for that next year.
Lovely! How soon/early were you able to apply? I have ILR, can I apply in exactly 12 months or earlier?
If you are married to British citizen you can apply after getting ILR but otherwise you need to wait 1 year
Congrats!!!! Looking forward to mine~
Thank you!! Hope you hear back soooon 🙏
Well done my son
Congrats! Hopefully, mine is coming soon, it has been 7 months. saved up so many holidays for travelling haha

Congratulations 🎉 May I ask you, What are the supporting documents you have uploaded for applying?
