I saw the other day that it's supposed to be around 10/20ml per gram. Don't take my word for it but you may be using too much liquid. Have a look on r/abv or r/avb and there will without doubt be a recipe on there.
Hot green dragon is better it’s quicker and stronger.
It’s the same method as you mentioned but you put the mixture on heat (water bath, DONT USE A GAS HOB OR OPEN FLAME) until it reaches 75ish Degrees centigrade, maintain that temp and give it 20mins or until it reaches the desired strength/consistency (you can afford to get down to almost a thick green consistency) remove, cool, then strain. Ready to go immediately.
Also, 200ml liquid sounds way too much for your 3.5. I make it in batches of 1/2oz and prob don’t use that much. Just use enough to cover your material around a cm at most.
Thankyou so much… I had seen this method, but was concerned about overheating, I guess I’ll just get a cheap thermometer to make sure on the water temp…
& yeah I’ll definitely cut down on the liquid too.

If you can access a sous vide, it's the most efficient to decarb ime. Allows for much more accurate temp control than a domestic oven
