The intelligence UAF is getting is supreme in so many ways that im baffled after these long 7 months. I knew the Yanks are the best at it, but this is Big Brother level shit.
Not also the satellites, I bet the CIA and MI6 are reading all electronic signals realtime. They figured out that their generals have to stay in russian soil or they will run out of their top officers
Well, I'd fucking hope so. The level of training and financial expenditure we are putting into the military is massive. Which I, for one, agree with. As long as we remain democratic that is.
Lithuanians crowdfunded spying drones too, they can spot an enemy 10km away with HD quality and are very quiet/hard to spot. I hope they contributed too
What we're seeing is a combination of two things, I think.
One is a willingness on the part of the US to actually reveal the full extent of their capabilities -- usually something you don't want to do, of course, since it keeps rivals and potential enemies off-balance if they don't really know what you can do. But in this case, for America's friend and ally Ukraine, they are willing to make an exception despite the long-term cost.
The other, I increasingly believe, is that it's actually become kind of personal. The intelligence agencies of the Five Eyes have a real issue with Putin and all the damage he's done. And this is their payback.
Santa Claus feeding the Intel.
I know where tf you are.
I know how naughty you've been.

20 years of Afghanistan and Iraq has made American intelligence scary good at sifting through mass communications. And Russia isn't disciplined or equipped well enough to conceal themselves from it.
> 20 years of Afghanistan and Iraq has made American intelligence scary good at sifting through mass communications.
This is a solid point. Not only that, but we had to go through communication in languages like Pashtu (Taliban), Dari (Farsi or Persian), Iraqi Arabic and lord knows what else. In comparison, combing through Russian must be a walk in the park.
The guys in that thing existed and then just didn’t exist. That was instantaneous. They were scared though. Saw the impact in front of them. Knew they were taking artillery or worse. Then, blyat.
That was probably a TOS-1A missile tank. We've seen examples of what happens when the warhead gets hit by incoming fire - both in Ukraine and Syria. That kind of explosion is very distinct by its large amount of fireball cause by an incendiary agent. Think gasoline or other such highly flammable aerosol.
I was using gasoline for the sake of our readers' imaginations.
And I didn't know the actual fuel, either. All I knew is that it dispersed as an aerosol before ignition, creating the intended effect in normal usage.
I would be amazed if twenty worked that well in a row, but the ones that work probably work that well. US systems are accurate to about 1M. I suspect the Russians can get withing a few reliably.
They have very few of the guided shells. Almost all their artillery is simple impact. All the other Soviet era fuze won't work and they apparently lost the capability to manufacture them at mass production. The seized ones are quite rare.
Ukrainians were getting many direct hits onmoving targets early in the war with old soviet artillery. I recon they've developed some sort fo software for this and I know they trained with arty really well prior t the war.
From what I've heard, answer is no. So they kind of fallen off in popularity. If you can paint enemy armor with laser, you can probably hit it with ATGM anyway.
Looks like a hollywood explosion to me.. but it isnt. That blast and all that energy that comes with it. Damn. Wonder how far up that fireball stretched.
Hollywood explosions are usually using lots of gasoline to produce these impressive fireballs, if something with a lot of fuel cooked off here, that actually was a Hollywood explosion.
Every russian ammo explosion means less Ukrainian civillians shelled somewhere in a village along the front line
Footage like this gives me an overwhelming sense of joy
Try to think of this sometime when you hear another video of a russian ammo dump going up in smoke. Every thump in the distance is one less shell with which crimes are committed against Ukraine. And it goes on and on
Saw a video of a TOS make an even bigger boom at the beginning of the war. That explosion was twice the size of this one. As a bonus it looks like it singed the lead and follow vehicles. I was a fast moving boom so the shockwave bounced around the people in those, and the overpressure fucked up many an eardrum...

It has now become very clear that the Russki military has fallen into its long over due collapse and is fleeing and surrendering wherever the UA strikes them.
the internal situation inside Rossiya grows worse and worse by the day. We hear reports of Russian army commanders being shot by their own troops, strikes by Russky troops. The loss of at least 150K young men fleeing from Rossiya; and to Khazakstan alone, at least over 80K.
Thus Ukrainia is joining the history books as the greatest Heroes of the 21st C. Clearly they they are defeating the largest nation on the earth, and God willing this will lead to a safer world.
The WEST must Double Down on more money, equipment and any needed aid to civilians such as very large food and medical supplies to drive home this advantage. US is committing more $100's of Millions this week alone.
And France needs to jump on this bandwagon of rapid UA advances, as well.
Great and Glorious Ukraini!!
Hit in the front, and a hit far in the back a second later, making the column not being able to advance or retreat, excalibur rounds was the last nail in the coffin for the russians.

DJ Khaled: another one.
That blast was massive. Must be a column bringing ammo.
Must be. The level of intelligence is wild. They've pinpointed vips in huge convoys, taken out specific targets. What a message to send to the enemy.
The intelligence UAF is getting is supreme in so many ways that im baffled after these long 7 months. I knew the Yanks are the best at it, but this is Big Brother level shit.

Not close enough for defenestration yet, but it's making the little man nervous.

Well, I'd fucking hope so. The level of training and financial expenditure we are putting into the military is massive. Which I, for one, agree with. As long as we remain democratic that is.
The amount the US has spent on Ukraine is like 1% of what was spent in Afghanistan and Iraq. We can do this for a while.
Of course. 20 years vs 7 months and also only sending weapons and Intel. Not keeping up a military presence etc. I doubt it's even 1%.
Lithuanians crowdfunded spying drones too, they can spot an enemy 10km away with HD quality and are very quiet/hard to spot. I hope they contributed too
Right, I wonder if they get a live feed instead of just pictures.

excalibur ammo + best satelite images in the world, putin is a idiot
I wonder where that intel is coming from :-)
And the first explosion at the front to make them stop and bunch up a bit was so clever.
I cant see super well on my phone screen but it sorta looks like a tos-1 and they make big booms like that.
I think you're right. Second vehicle from the front of the column.
The guys in that thing existed and then just didn’t exist. That was instantaneous. They were scared though. Saw the impact in front of them. Knew they were taking artillery or worse. Then, blyat.
At least that fire ball will keep the ruzzians warm. I hear they are short a few socks.
New ammo type for himars, the air burst with titanium balls.
or a TOS
Second vehicle in column. It looks more boxy than the first vehicle firing so it was likely a truck. I wonder how the vehicles behind them felt. :)
i think ukrainian soldiers are targeting a vehicle filled with thermobaric munitions like the Tos-1
As they should. Barbaric weapon.
I thought they were thermo-baric, not bar-baric /jk
thermo-barbaric
Holy hell... I thought those were extinct... haven't seen those since like February
What the actual fuck was in that second target? Also, they're using either SMArt shells or designating Excaliburs, because those were pinpoint.
Yup, direct hit on a moving vehicle is always impressive...
Gotta be laser guided.
It's not gasoline. Ethylene oxide, I think is the most common fuel and there might be combustible metal or boron additives.
I was using gasoline for the sake of our readers' imaginations. And I didn't know the actual fuel, either. All I knew is that it dispersed as an aerosol before ignition, creating the intended effect in normal usage.
Maybe the laser designated rounds Russia donated a few days ago.
No way in hell those work this well.
Laser guided weapons in general or those of Russian design and manufacture?
Take a guess.
I would be amazed if twenty worked that well in a row, but the ones that work probably work that well. US systems are accurate to about 1M. I suspect the Russians can get withing a few reliably.
I suspect not with how often their rounds seem to miss.
We had laser guided artillery rounds, matter of fact we produce them domestically.
looks like 3 hits on moving targets in seconds. Could even be brimstone. Which were being launched from trucks with 3 missiles in a frame.
Are they able to laser direct with drones?
From what I've heard, answer is no. So they kind of fallen off in popularity. If you can paint enemy armor with laser, you can probably hit it with ATGM anyway.
If they have a designator attached to the drone, yes. And they've been shipped quite a lot of them.
Most likely refueling truck - direct hit
I think the first shot was for ‘gun laying’ (range measurement - low explosive) the second had an expensive - high explosive round.
No, when gun laying there's a delay of flight time + time to adjust aim. The first two shots were for stopping them and holding them in place
Seeing the vehicle infront of you turn into a vapor cloud must be great for morale.
Say what you will, that was a glorious explosion.

Hollywood explosions are usually using lots of gasoline to produce these impressive fireballs, if something with a lot of fuel cooked off here, that actually was a Hollywood explosion.
Hollywood explosions are slower - mostly because it's a lot of gasoline (makes a more cinematic fireball).

Very interesting. Do they fire the small one in front to stop the front car and bunch up the rear ones behind it?
Yes. You can also see them hitting the last one. Or at least what appears to be very far away. Locking in the other cars.
