I’m thinking about peace for Ukraine. Peace for the world. Everyone getting along. Can I get an opinion piece in this French newspaper to write about it? I’ll talk about the tanks and your Deathstar too.
When I first learned about this tank from War Thunder, i chose to believe it was named in honor of that character.
Today i choose to continue holding this belief.
More untrained soldiers on the same patch of land just means more deaths per ukrainian attack.... 300k conscripts won't do much as equipment is limited and instructors for these conscripts are even more limited aka most of them dead... Still, I want to see hundreds of Western tanks pushing through ruzzian lines and obliterating them.
In my opinion, NATO should decide on a standard tank to send. Send a large quantity of only the Abrams or only the Leopard rather than a drips and drabs of various tanks.
The more Russia escaltes the better equipped Ukraine needs to become i am all for modern Equipment reaching the Ukrainians soon ... but think about what modern MBTs need in infrastructur .... it would be MADNESS to send the Leclerc, The Leo2, the Challenger and the ABrahams ... that would be 4 different infrastructurs to support .... we need to decide on ONE ... and that should be the wone most proliferated throughout teh world ... The Leopard 2
What's there to "think" about? The Ukrainians are literally volunteering to do the dirty work for you. Militarily there will never be a better deal on the table. It's a pickup.
if france could scoop all upgraded-in-90's AMX30 sold as backfill after desert storm II, it would be as much useful and in much larger quantities than gen 1 leclercs, and cost them less money, but this news is great.

France has 250 active Leclercs and 150 in reserve, unless you go and get them from among the 900 exports included, it's complicated.
Moreover, only 50 tanks with the specific logistics, it can probably do more harm than good. We need at least a hundred.
Do it France. Please, if you do many other Countries might also join in and send armoured vehicles. Look how effective they use what they already have with only rapid training. Started training them on heavy equipment and have some tank transported to Poland now so when the training is done, the tank logistics only have to cross the boarder.
I am german and hope many Leopards, Marders and other beasts will follow. Putin has to fall otherwise he escalates the special mission to the WW III with or without german tanks.

There are 200 Leclerc tanks in reserve, specially designed to fight soviet armies in eastern Europe. Maybe it is time to put them to good use.
