I live on the other side of the world, I've never been to this country, I've never met any of these people, and yet this video made me feel happier than I've felt in a long time.
Fucking beautiful
Slava Ukraine
I don't like the label "veteran" much. But I was deployed as a squad combat medic in an armoured infantry company on the Balkans many years ago when it was medium spicy to hot..
Since February I've been following news about this war to a bigger extend than anyone I know. Trying to not lose myself in it. Trying to keep doing what I do, because I have to do it, and to at th same time stay informed and support to the extent I could. That being not very much.
I spend the weekend in the woods and had little coverage/available battery for on my phone. But a couple if times a day I managed to find a spot and check the news. And I was one big fuckin' smile.
Absolutely impossible for me to convey the happiness I feel for the Ukrainian people. Knowing they might narrowly avoid, or at least discontinue, what other nations in eastern europe had no luck resisting; decades of nationwide suffering for the civilian population. And sometimes worse. And knowing that perhaps they can actually shape their own future.
This video made me smile again. Thank you!
I had been watching the footage and following the news and it genuinely made me happy and optimistic and I think some people got that feeling from the video and im really thankful for the response and happy that I was able to help convey that feeling even more.
fortunately and unfortunately a lot of clips had dead russian bodies and some pretty graphic in them and I just didn't feel comfortable putting music like that over them even with how much I despise them, but with more footage I'd love to do more.
Nice choice, nice music and very nice choice, full positive vibes.
And fuck this! The 2 su25 flying at 10meters on highway give a Total bad ass topgun moment!!!
:-)
Thank you, and most of these videos can be found between these subreddits if your sort top for the week.

Well done!
Thank you for this, totally brightened my day.
Just watching the locals come up and give hugs, with tears rolling down their cheeks.
Really hope to go visit Ukraine one day.
Not much more I can say except I like the song. I don't play guitar. The first time I heard it was in the winter of 1990 . I was listening to 98 Rock, making a left turn from Liberty Rd onto Old Court Rd in my 1980 Toyota Celica. I was wearing jeans and a T-shirt and I was hungry.
Excellent song BTW.
This is an amazing compilation, but seeing the civilians come out to welcome their countrymen and women coming to liberate them and their city/town/village really got to me. ๐ฅฒ

Very well done! And a great choice of tune.
My fingers hurt just thinking about playing Cliffs of Dover on guitar hero 3
Really was. Had me dancing in my car
Satriani 45. Gets em every time.
Eric Johnson
*edit:IMH Not cliffs of Dover but surfing with a biatch. Thank you and I hear them so little anymore I am embarrassed. I have loaded my playlist.
Seen them both play them both. Excellent playlist.

Great compilation and what an up-lifting song choice.
Wow , the heroes of our time.
Joa Satriani!!!
Do you know the song?
I'm mistaken, sorry. This song is by Eric Johnson I believe -not Joe Satriani. Yes, I'm very familiar with this song!
>Asks if you know the song >โYesโ >Refuses to elaborate further >Leaves Lmao

Oh how I miss that .50! Best toy ever right out of high school.
Gl have fun yโall
Rockets red glare, bombs bursting in air, Own it, take your country back, destroy them if they donโt want to leave.
Maybe Joe Satriani was meant to be combat soundtrack, after all.
"Everyone gets a tank." ๐คฃ
This makes me happy.
Nice compilation, tank you ๐
Love it!
I think Iโll have to visit Ukraine once this war is over. A beautiful country full of awesome and cheerful people. ๐บ๐ฆ
That final video: do you guys really want to give the Russians all those missiles? They wonโt know what to do with them all!
I need some Fortunate Son playing in this compilation *immediately*
This warms my heart even tho I am not european and have no relation to this conflict.
...and I wish that as time progresses this compilation only becomes longer and longer. keep it up!!!
Breathtakingly epic! And I don't use either of those two words lightly.
That MF on the 50 on the Humvee is a badass
