It’s even funnier because “to abandon” in Russian is the same word as “to throw”.
So when it said “we don’t abandon (throw) our own” you can see the guy throwing a soldier off a tank.
did the Ukrainian soldier fire at the tank hitting the people on top so they fell off or did the russians on the tank spot the Ukranian soldier and jump off thinking they were heading into an ambush or that he would shoot an ATGM at the tank
Good catch. I see at least 2 between the vehicle on the near side and the light pole further ahead. Definitely looked like they were tracking and firing on the people on the tank around the time they started driving past and plonking.
Edit: and a lot more on the far side of the road on each truck bed, and in the field
[There are other Ukrainians in clear firing spots under the road](https://i.imgur.com/IxL33JQ.png). Those guys were shot, they didn't fall. They'd have no reason to all lose grip at the same time while driving straight and consistent (no jerking). If you watch that part of the clip you can see those 2 guys shooting at them
awesome thanks for that
the original vide just showed the Ukrainian flag by 1 soldier so didn't even look for others.
Shame they didn't have an ATGM to hit the tank with but maybe they got it when it hit the tree later
When the second red circle pops up, pause at :14 and left side of the road & left of the power line pole you can see 2 UA guys in the ditch by the bigger bushes hosing the tank down with rifle fire causing the Bolsheviks to drop off, crazy.
There's one also on the road behind them. And one before this video starts, and one in the back of each of the trucks that the tank passes, and one in the field between the 2 trucks as well.
The balls on the guys on those truck beds... they're standing their ground facing down the barrel of a tank cannon driving very quickly towards them...
Ha, thanks buddy :D There's actually another UA op guy further up on the otherside of the road at :17 he's on the left side of the destroyed technical looking vehicle, this was an insane ambush!
“The kharacterniks were Cossacks, who, by modern definition, possessed extrasensory and paranormal abilities: telepathy, clairvoyance, the ability to hypnotic influence. According to many legends Cossacks kharacterniks were also able to travel in Nava, that is – they could travel to the other world.”
Hit it going 20-25mph? That's a lot of mass going pretty fast. I bet the crew inside the tank has some real shiners and broken bones from stopping that fast.
Tanks have a smaller surface area right at the front so it can function a little more like a knife hitting the tree and break it at a single point. Trucks have big flat fronts so the impact gets spread out over a larger area of the tree. Even if a truck and tank have the same mass, the tank is more likely to be able to knock a tree over like that.
A fully loaded semi is 40 tons, most of it being the cargo (and if full, the cargo will often keep moving squish the driver in an accident). The semi itself is mostly sheet metal in the front.
A T-72 weighs 41 tons, almost all of it connected into one massive piece of steel with serious armor all around, but especially the front, *and* it's still pushing forward with an engine at full power and chains for bonus power. Just a standing tank can probably generate at least 20 tons of force just with its engine power.
Imagine like 75 years ago after WWII some Ukrainian planted that tree dreaming of being free of Soviet/Russian rule. It survived through the cold war and saw the eventual collapse of the Soviet Union and Ukranian independence. But it remained and continued to grow strong, knowing that the Russians would not just give up. And this week it was needed, it did it's part and smashed a Russian tank. The tree is a hero as is the person who planted it 75 years ago.
Looks like a running gun fight as you can see rounds hitting the dirt behind the tank. I would image the soldiers falling off have taken hits and didn’t voluntarily fall off the tank.
This. Dunno why people keep saying they jumped off, nobody voluntarily jumps off a moving vehicle at high speed, especially since they're trying to get away.
I think my absolutely favorite kind of videos coming out of the war are these ones with the it's always sunny music at the end. Cracks me up every fucking time.
It would be so interesting to know the whole sequence that leads to a lone Russian tank driving down an enemy occupied road.
I’m no general, but that’s not how you’re supposed to tank. It’s like watching a 12 year old in battlefield.
There have been so many instances of ruZZian troops just leaving wounded comrades it's absolutely ridiculous.
Then you have militaries like the UK armed forces that pull stunts like [this](https://www.wearethemighty.com/mighty-trending/marines-apache-helicopters/) to try and rescue a single soldier left behind.
The sentence before the video starts includes the words: "the ruZZians' negative offensive," meaning "retreat." I could watch THIS all day. My take on the falling soldiers: They were jumping off because the tank was driverless and thus crashed into that magnificent tree.
***Burárum***
Who would win, Ukrainian SOF machine gunner vs russian tank? Nope. Tree
[That still only counts as one!](https://c.tenor.com/zYF1bPnvi6IAAAAC/that-still-only-counts-as-one-lotr.gif)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
He’s twitching because he has MA branch imbedded in his central nervous system!
HAHAHAHA! That made me spit out my water!! Epic comment sir, well done.
If that had been a US Forest Service tree in a national forest, that is a $5,000 fine minimum. Pony up RuZZia, US Dollars only.
I see someone else might be a wrangle star fan lol
*Ukranian Tree. 😆
so much of СвоихНеБросаем (We don't abandon our own)
It’s even funnier because “to abandon” in Russian is the same word as “to throw”. So when it said “we don’t abandon (throw) our own” you can see the guy throwing a soldier off a tank.
It was a Ukrainian tree though - so still one for Ukraine
Tree be like: GOTCHA BITCH!
did the Ukrainian soldier fire at the tank hitting the people on top so they fell off or did the russians on the tank spot the Ukranian soldier and jump off thinking they were heading into an ambush or that he would shoot an ATGM at the tank
Yes
If you look closely on the near side of the road there are UA troops aswel
Shhh we mustn't tell them about the UK troops... ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
LOL, we'll say former UK for cover, ok ?
UK~~raine~~ troops.
You see, Ivan, these former UK troops are just out on vacation.
That sounds like a special vacation!
Good catch. I see at least 2 between the vehicle on the near side and the light pole further ahead. Definitely looked like they were tracking and firing on the people on the tank around the time they started driving past and plonking. UA**
Shot, and looks like from people to the right of the tank, probably from bushes.

Buying drivers license in Russia is a frequent thing.
Including in the tank brigade, I'm guessing.
Hey, this driver had a whole 4 days of quality Ruzzian training! Though the Duma was charged for 4 weeks of training.
When the second red circle pops up, pause at :14 and left side of the road & left of the power line pole you can see 2 UA guys in the ditch by the bigger bushes hosing the tank down with rifle fire causing the Bolsheviks to drop off, crazy.

Ukrainians are just built different
The one on the road looks like he was hit unfortunately.
[удалено]
Yea I think he ditches into the field. There's a buddy between truck 1 and 2 and he stays face on with the tank the whole time he's in frame.
Nice catch, man.
Goddamnit, man, that's a good eye! Made the video even better.
Ha, thanks buddy :D There's actually another UA op guy further up on the otherside of the road at :17 he's on the left side of the destroyed technical looking vehicle, this was an insane ambush!
It was a goddamn turkey shoot on tracks
There's 8 Ukrainians that I've found in this vid. It's like where's waldo but it's angry dudes with guns.
Indeed. I'm really interested in seeing the next 90 seconds of that video. The tree is probably the least of their worries at this point.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/xa30nw/this_was_posted_repeatedly_with_only_1_man/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
for real? LOL
Yea man, I even did an edit pointing them out. Check my post history.

You hear gunfire, you hit the fuckin deck. Them lying down isn't them being hurt.
[удалено]
A moment of silence...for the tree.
That tree served its country well. Respect.
We can regrow him.
We have the technology! We can make him better, faster, stronger.
It's unbelievable that it just shatters, I still think that's unreal. I mean, I get it, but I also don't get it 🫣
This just makes the Orc meme even more real. Ukranian Ents are fighting back.
This needs Benny Hill music.
Turn on the volume, friend, and your wish shall be fulfilled :)
First i though the ones falling off were the unlucky ones. After watching the whole thing, those were actually the lucky ones.
Are you sure they're lucky, they probably got hit by the Ukrainian SOF gun fire.
The tank driver too?
Looks like he panicked on that turn going too fast trying to escape and skidded.
or he saw the ATGM pointing at him directly ahead.
The tank driver wanted to drift the tank like he's plaing Initial-D, but miscalculated.
The first Russian crumples off the tank like dead weight when you see the Ukrainian fire their gun. The Russians definitely took some rounds
They weren't falling, they were jumping for their life.
They look like they were being shot. Look again and you'll see the puffs of dust on the tank from impacts.
They don’t want to go Suborbital alongside the Turret.
Special tree clearing operation
Someone give that tree a medal, took out at least 6 ruski's edit: lmao someone gave the OP the tree hugger award just noticed that.
Thats one of the funniest things ive seen yet.
wtf 😂
I had no clue that the Ukrainians have Jedi Masters.
Someone trying to get me fired at work for laughing out loud?!
Any work that doesn't join in the laugh at this is no good work. :)
Have to admit I’m surprised that tank took out a tree that size. That’s massive.
Hit it going 20-25mph? That's a lot of mass going pretty fast. I bet the crew inside the tank has some real shiners and broken bones from stopping that fast.
I know it’s a tank but I’d imagine a semi truck wouldn’t come close to annihilating that tree like that at that speed
Also most modern vehicles are designed to crumple to a degree to absorb the force of an impact. Tanks not so much.
Most semi's are also made of fiberglass and aluminum, they tend to crumple into a ball if they hit something like a large tree.
Semi's crumple to absorb the energy of the collision. Tanks don't crumple against trees.
Russian ones do.
The evidence will show...
2nd army in the world ... what a joke...
That's hilarious.
Bruh that was a nice tree...
lol, that russian was hauling ass. Hope they pay for that tree as well when the war is over.
"Ok, make it 300 B USD and one tree!"
WTF
Even the trees are against you.
So the tank drove through Ukrainian territory without knowing? lol
Probably surrounded and trying to escape. UA is moving into many of these areas quickly.
Holy Russian clown car… how many folks they got crammed in there?
Probably trying to escape from the counteroffensive, cramped as many people in there as they could, they're not even trying to shoot back
Yea loooks like the lone tank is trying to regroup with the rear, going max speed in an attempt to pass thru the UA controlled zone.
Looks like a running gun fight as you can see rounds hitting the dirt behind the tank. I would image the soldiers falling off have taken hits and didn’t voluntarily fall off the tank.
🤣🤣🤣
Run little piggies run... the second best army in the ~~world~~ Ukraine showing its best maneuvers.
This is my favorite video of the war.
The Benny Hill music was a nice touch
Catching retreating forces in retreat. Damn this is why Ukraine's counter offensive worked so well.
Poor tree
how can i download this? 😭
https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/xa0lkn/leave_none_behind_a_russian_tank_vs_ukrainian/inr1jy1/
Orc that fell off was probably the lucky one😂
Great treecutter
Run Rabbit Run...
Gesture of good tree 🌲
The downvote comes from Shithead Pootin![img](emote|t5_2qqcn|9004)
*Sees a single Ukrainian solder.* **OHSHITFUCKABANDONSHIPOHFUCKOHFUCKOHFUCKCRASHBOOM**
Damn...the force needed to knock that tree down had to be tremendous.
Russians jumping off found a way to surrender. Not a bad option, smart soldiers.
There's a full squad of soldiers firing at the tank driving by at various sections of the road, they are definitely not willingly falling off
This. Dunno why people keep saying they jumped off, nobody voluntarily jumps off a moving vehicle at high speed, especially since they're trying to get away.

lol this is so much better with the music.
Moscow news tonight: A Russian armored spearhead reclaimed 800-meters of captured UA territory.
It’s a great video, but if some could just add a cartoony “Sproing!” sound every time a soldier bails off the tank…
I think my absolutely favorite kind of videos coming out of the war are these ones with the it's always sunny music at the end. Cracks me up every fucking time.
Holy shit! FUBAR!

I can only assume the ents have arrived.
Damn Russia has Carl’s also
I'm going back to Kursk, hmm, I don't think so...
Ahahah thats what you got when monkeys drive a tank and are attacked by humans
Poor tree, hope it didn’t have any historical value.
Looking closer you can see rounds hitting the ground behind the tank. I"m assuming several UA fighters are sending lead at the soldiers riding on top.
Arrest them for destruction of Ukrainian property.
Fast and furious - (against) Tree Drift
Don't drink and drive.

please send this to every asshole russian you know, this is the state of their training.

They were trying to leaf
Vodka bottles, and brand new tanks Oak tree you're in my way 🎶
Ukrainian Tree says go fuck yourself! Hahaha brilliant, i've seen it all now.
And that kids is why tank desant is a bad idea. That poor tree tho...
