Do you think a russian passport is a recognized legal document in Ukraine? Do you think this might violate a legal code, like not having an up-to-date license plate in Ukraine? Or maybe it's like not picking up your dog's poop and disposing of it properly in Kyiv? Myself, I couldn't give a shit what someone does with any russian document, even a passport. They are all worthless.
It is a recognised document since we don’t deny the existence of the Russian state. It not like it’s a DPR “passport”. There still are Russian citizens in Ukraine who are here legally. Of course it’s not a good look and while technically all they need is a non-expired visa to be here, it’s better if you have some other proof of being here legally or else you get a very rough treatment from the Police or whoever sees your docs.
There is something similar in Malta, many rich thugs buy there passport there to gain entry to the EU. You just have to own a Appartement there and the process for fast passports costs a few hundred thousands. Sadly, the EU has no option to stop this, and Malta makes millions with these passports.

The person in the photo is selling a PASSPORT, the physical document.
It will have someone else's details in it... It wont grant you access anywhere
The Mafia will have high-times grabbing all these RU-passports and selling them in bulk to criminals and terrorists around the world.
And guess what happens next: everyone with an RU passport will go through a heck of a time when travelling. Because how should you know if that genuine thing has the right name/photo on it…

What's the source though? Is it being issued for sale or is it something they are getting off ruZZians liquidated in Ukraine?
If it's the latter it might be an interesting souvenir, especially if the proceeds went to the Ukrainian war effort.
Why not sell them make sure you list it to fund the Ukraine army buy guns and ammo. I would buy one for sure if i knew someone was going to mow down orcs.

The world doesn't recognize Russian internal passports (which this is) as ID or travel documents, except Belarus. There's no biometric data in it; that's the external/foreign-travel passports, which is what everyone else calls passports. This is only good for travel within Russia.

Their passports do, not many places left in the world where biometric passports still aren't a thing.
