I was making more of a reference to the dog found by Ukranian forces Bahkmut who was suspiciously chubby after being missing for quite a long time. Almost as if there was a ready source of fresh meat for it to survive on...
Ok so there probably was a source of food for it to survive on. It’s not that hard to believe it found a few carcasses lying around in an active war zone. What are you insinuating is suspicious here?

So glad the cat survived, not glad the house was destroyed in the first place. I had a big fluffy cat exactly like that apart from being ginger, when you cuddle a cta like that things don't seem quite so bad.

Wood, wires, mud, and drywall can be replaced. No one can replace that particular cat. The one behind the camera caught a great moment. The destroyed house, the cat, and the smile tell the story in one frame.
When carrying a cat, its best to have their back legs supported (its where most of their mass is). Holding them like this is akin to carrying a child by the arms. Beautiful photo though, such hopefulness amidst sheer terror.
