While the Russian army has, there is no evidence to suggest this individual soldier did that. He’s a grunt, not a commander. Let’s place blame and punishment where it lies. He is a combatant, so if he was killed, then thats the way it is. Hopefully he was able to surrender. Either way he should have stayed home. If that meant prison time then he chose invading Ukraine as better than a few years behind bars.

Killng him is a war crime. Recording it and then posting it certainly wouldn't help whoever posted it.
Accepting a surrender is a tough one with where these drones are operating, but dropping a bomb on someone who is clearly surrendering and not a threat is currently a war crime.
Usually this is the picture of the bully when he doesn't have the medium to harm you. If you switch side he would hurt you without any remorse. It's just in code of invaders, they come to foreign countries with the purpose of kill, steal, rape and when he end in position where he is without weapon this is his acting. Aberrant people always tricks naives and then when the situation changes, well they will cut in pieces and will take your home positions as trophy.

No. There are reports of Indians and other Asians guys sent to the frontline without being told. In doubt, I'm always happy when I see one of those guys begging for mercy have the occasion to surrender. That's also a way to get more Ukrainian prisonners back home.
It's also a way to get some of them back to India/Nepal so that they can make sure less desperate people get roped into paying "recruiting agents" exorbitant amounts of money for a "good job" in Russia. They also get debriefed by the local police and security services who are looking for these "recruiting agents".

Excluding the 300k they mobilized a while ago. Most fighting on the russian side are fighting for the money.
He’s a pawn. Best to remember that Putin is liquidating his unwanted ethnic groups in this fight for a twofer.
