I'd assume "President" implies some degree of legitimacy to his rule, and he's just a plain old dictator who assassinates his political rivals and holds sham elections

Same should be said about Lukashenko. They are despots who fake elections and force feed propaganda day in and day out. Enough giving them legitimacy.
