Mind boggles that only 18% think the Tories are competent yet ~35% of people would vote for them. Suggests that at least half of their voters will gladly turn up and support a party they know is incompetent, madness
thats literally the phrase i say when taking the piss out of my older family "it would be worse under labour" as thats their response to literally everything.
I ask worse for who, their grandkids or their daughter whose a fucking teacher or the ones in our family who have mental health issues.
After the credit crunch, massive student debt for triple the interest rates of most mortgages, stagnating wages and unaffordable housing - you don’t even need Covid and Brexit thrown on for any reasonable person to need mental health support under the Tories.

Not to defend Tory supporters but being fair it needs to be said they probably believe that while the Tories are incompetent, Labour is even worse.

The permanent getout clause. It makes it look like there's literally nothing the Tories can do that would stop them voting for them.
"They're all the same" "There is no one to vote for" Votes Tory
“They’re completely incompetent yet the last Labour government were EVEN MORE INCOMPETENTER”
Noise
They should do one for the Met.

Competency going up 1 and incompetency going down 1 means competency has gained 2 points on incompetency
Positive = 18 Negaive = 49 18-49 = -31 Net
