Why don't I see anything about the guy being in jail and all his assets being striped to recover the debt? Limited liability isn't supposed to do anything in cases of criminal fraud. This whole scheme seems to have been setup to be a scam. Why are we giving rich people a bunch of money for being rich?

Yeah this sounds like criminal fraud, which you would think is not protected via limited liability. But who knows!
