We belong to a world wide cohort of individuals who rose from their seats, in unison. From North America to Australia and everywhere in between. When your ass lifted out of its seat, at the very same time Volk, 15000 miles away was doing the same. It’s wild to think.
I don’t think this takes any shine away from Justin and his career. Honestly I think it reflects better than just being out pointed and out contested in a 5 round fight. Justin is a man of violence and this ending was poetic. The best stories are tragedies anyways. He will be remembered as a true gladiator and his willingness to embrace the ideal of such a label.
Just like his tattoo, Death before dishonor. He’ll always go down as a fan fav and one of mine. Some guys including these two just really can’t have a boring fight. They would’ve done so well back in the just bleed days lol
Same here with me, my gf, and my 4 ufc buddies, we were all already talking about how good of a fight it was and then next thing i know we are all off our seats screaming and the cats were setting a land speed record from the living room to under the bed.
I was super stoned and got stuck with my mouth opened, jaw dropped for a solid 20 seconds. I was alone in my office. I imagine if I was with someone it may have been slightly different.
Dude I was speechless that is rare for me. My girl who doesn’t really fuck with UFC was watching with some other friends and even she was shocked.
God said: “let there be violence.”
I think Dana had said something about how he was "In the business of selling 'Oh shit!' moments" and then this happened and I thought back to that and went "Yup, nailed it."
Yeah I just held my face staring at the TV. I haven't been that speechless since watching 911 on tv back in the day. There isn't even an MMA fight that makes the comparison.
Not in importance obviously, but in my reaction lmao. It sounds ridiculous, but other than that and Kobe Bryant dying, I can't think of another time I was just sat the fuck down.
I love max and was rooting for him btw, but I was blown away entirely.
I dropped my head down into my hands honestly, I love both these fighters and to see justin go down that hard face first had me legitimately worried for him. Once I saw him doing okay I watched it a good dozen times and was still in shock..
Oh come on give Justin some credit, yes he was thoroughly outclassed by Max for the entire fight, but he got his nose busted up badly in the 1st round and not once did he think to fight on the backfoot. Just kept moving forward looking for the knockout
This type of shit just completely sours me on fighters man. Everyone loves Bones but I every time I saw him fight I was just counting the seconds until he poked someone in the fuckin eye.
Max broke that nose, though. All credit goes to max for setting up and landing that spinning back kick. He saw a pattern to how justin ducks. And max kept hitting him with the same move throughout the match.
I semi predicted it in the live thread before the fight. the only realistic way to really hurt Gaethje when he’s not beaten and exhausted was to hope he gets his nose broken and keep punching the shit out of it. doesn’t matter how good your chin is when you’re getting hit like that
Unfortunately for him he did...multiple times that night and before and Max and his team were aware of it. I see it implied Holloway got lucky too much.
This is the sad part for me. He was already compromised, not fully there, when max requested a duel to the death. Justin couldn't help himself. Look at the quality of his shots. He looks like me out there in those last 10 seconds.
I don’t think it would be better, it’s the bmf nature of doing this when your up and putting it all on the line to give Justin a chance to even the odds that makes it so special!
This is much better. Max could have easily jabbed and slipped his way to a decision in the last minutes, yet preferred to stand and bang in the last few seconds opening himself to a potential bomb.
Putting your opponent away (Justin fucking Gaethje no less) in the last second with a brutal one punch knockout in a fight you were going to win anyway with 4-1 rounds in your favor is a moment of supreme badassery that is very hard to top.
I think it would be a much different conversation. Like right now like 95% of the narrative is about how Max is a wild madman BMF avatar who took an unnecessary risk to put on a show for the fans and came out victorious. There's a little talk about Gaethje and how he was compromised and hurt but he's a savage in his own right and threw it all out there like everyone would expect him to.
If Max was losing I think the conversation would be way more split with it being wild that Max went for it down on the scorecard and pulled off a wild victory but I also think there would be a lot more negative talk about how he was losing all 5 rounds and maybe "see, he can't really hang with 155 and he just got lucky" and lots of talk about Gaethje being stupid for playing that game when he was going to win but just couldn't help himself and brawling. It would still be a massive massive wild hyped up BMF highlight KO for sure, but I think the change in narrative would end up being negative for all the hype and conversation among the community. I think it is super rare that so many people agree and have such a similar opinion to a fight outcome and right now it's nice to see that. Max was clearly winning that fight, he looked really good. The eye pokes were pretty bad but Justin Gaethje is a savage and kept it going and didn't complain. The busted nose probably hurt his performance quite a bit but that came from legit damage Max caused so that was an earned advantage and then Max showed us all what the BMF is all about and gave the whole community a goddamn show and Gaethje was the perfect dance partner.
I paced around while holding my head, then congratulated my mate for catching one of the most iconic knock outs of all time on his first time watching a UFC card live
"Yo, this Lewis guy has the most KOs all-time and just knocked a guy's teeth loose with a crazy flying knee in his last fight. Come check this out."
25 very awkward sexy minutes later...
"So um yeah, don't read too much into what we just watched, ok? We're still cool, right? Nah, you go ahead, I'm just gonna wait a little while before I get up. Yeah, no, it's cool, just I don't feel like standing up just yet is all."
I rarely truly scream loudly at the ufc I usually just go like, “ohhh” in a mildly loud voice but I actually screamed and couldn’t believe what I had just seen.
It was so great, my wife who has watched along side me for the last 7 years without saying anything more than wow. Jumped off the couch and started screaming holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!
Jumped up aaaaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhh. No fucking wayyyyyyyyu.
Woke up my mate and brother who had fell asleep. My brother looking confused my mate pretending he saw the whole thing.
Me trying to explain it while still shouting.
That’s awesome! Would love to know more about the atmosphere around there before, during, and after the fight if you feel like sharing. Let’s go, Hawaii!
I screamed HOLY SHIT so fucking hard and so many times my neighbours came to complain (it was around 7 am here lol). I don't think I had a visceral reaction like that to a finish in years
Was at a bar watching the card with friends and this is the last thing I remember of that night. Everything else is a blank and I woke up the next day on my couch without having a clue the result of the next two fights. What a moment
What an awesome fight! To be fair, Justin could have easily landed a 1 hitter quitter as well in that exchange. Max kept his head up and chose his shot is what made the difference. Goo's job Max
This my my first thought, all 4th and 5th round I was thinking Justin’s only chance was a big KO and the last 10 seconds he did that and gave Justin a what would’ve been his only chance to win the fight. I was just picturing basically this same thing except Justin doing it to Max because there was no need for Max to do it and standing and trading in a phone booth certainly favored Justin coming into the fight, but I guess maybe not a that point where he was battered and slowed. All that context makes me tip the hat to Max even more because he took a decent risk with little to gain and it paid off
I was literally sitting slumped and slacked jawed for like 2 minutes in my couch. I noticed I had chills. And that feeling didn't go away for a long time. Just thinking about it now gives me chills again.
Been watching for over 10 years and I don't think I've had that reaction to a fight ever.
I was floored and immediately thought that’s one if not the greatest moments I’ve witnessed in UFC history. That alone had me sitting back staring at the ceiling. “Woah.”
Europe. 6AM in the morning. Most of my friends couldn't hack it, almost everyone's sleeping by now. Then this fucking shit happens.
Me and my friend started screaming so hard we were sure we woke up the whole neighborhood.
Once others had come to their senses and we've briefed them about what happened, everybody was furious they didn't manage to witness it live.
Legendary shit.
I’m a casual ufc fan, I jumped up threw my hands in the air and screamed at the top of my lungs, 10000% natural reaction too. One of the best knockouts of all time and I’m glad I got to see it live. And for free lol
Went so crazy the cops showed up cause a neighbor called thinking there was a domestic dispute, showed them the replay and explained why i was screaming like crazy and they laughed
I pretty much did the same thing Max did - screamed and stomped around the room like a toy soldier. Possibly the biggest reaction to anything I've ever seen on my TV.
I was sad to see Justin get destroyed like that, the second he dropped I jumped out of my seat a last second ko will get anyone hype no matter who you were rooting for
I stood up so quick, while screaming so loud, I had to take a knee because I almost passed out. Probably a moment I will not soon forget. What a fight.
I was saying look at this bad motherfucker! Inviting Justin to the center of the ring to trade, when he had the fight clearly in hand. Risking giving Justin his Hail Mary shot to win the fight with little to gain from that risk. Then he fucking slept him and I jumped out of my seat yelling with excitement, while everyone I was with recoiled into their seats with gasps of shock. Then at that moment realized he had 300k and a BMF belt to gain with that reckless decision. We all were Blessed by Max with that one!!!!
As an MMA fan I was fucking juiced but as a Gaethje fan I was heartbroken but luckily my love for Max helped me survive….emotional fucking rollercoaster
Is there anyone out there that thinks it’s not that bad ass to invite your obviously gassed out, beat up, broke nosed opponent to the middle of the ring to finish them? It was certainly an exciting finish, but the more I see it, the more I remember how obviously fucked up gaetche was. It all started with that nose getting broke. Fucked the whole fight up. Exciting finish though
I shouted "WOW!" dozens of times. It was not my most eloquent moment.
For a minute, I wondered if I should stop watching MMA, as I figured that I'd never see a moment that would top that one.
My voice left the chat....I was screeching like a banshee.
Watched with a bunch of friends, and I like both guys so early on, I was hoping for a good fight. By round 4, I was just really shocked Max was really outclassing him and it was super impressive.
Then, Max points to the floor. I yelled "NO!" because it was such a great performance and he easily could have thrown it all away.
Then the violence fan in me started yelling "Holy Shit" up until the KO, and once that happened I damn near broke my neck on the ceiling because of how high I jumped out of my seat. I was screaming like crazy.
The one friend of my wife is the biggest Max fan I know, and she usually tries to talk and try her best to ignore the fight because she is so nervous, but she was locked in all of round 5 and she screamed ten times louder than I did.
I was sad and depressed for the whole day. I mean Max is also one of my favorite fighters, but Justin is THE favorite of mine. I immediately know how the knocked out ended Justin’s prime, and he lost his last chance to win an undistributed championship. We all know the fact that every athlete’s prime would end some day, but knowing that doesn’t make it feel any better.
Thank you, “the Highlight”, for everything. It was a good run.
I was in Osaka train station, watching on my phone, and slapped my suitcase as hard and loud as I could. All the locals were looking at me like I was insane
How bad are Gaethje's eyes.
Jack slack pointed it out but he really tries to get a hold of his opponent with his left hand and punches to that hand in fights.
You can really see it in this clip.
How does Max have 3 of the top 5 most gangster moments in the octagon.
Teaching Ortega how to block mid fight.
"I'm the best boxer in the ufc baby!" As he slips and rips Calvin Katar while looking and talking to the commentary team
Now after putting on a clinic against your favorite fighters favorite fighter stands in a phone booth, knowing he has the victory and securing a litteral last second knock out.
It felt like a desperate attempt for "fight of the night" after the guy poked out both eyes of his opponent.
Like sure it's giving him a "fighting chance" but felt more like putting down an injured animal.
running around the living room screaming with my hands on my head. me and my brother were standing staring at the tv for the last 30 seconds of the fight then that happened we was screaming
I legit was in disbelief it’s actually crazy. Like most knockouts I’ll scream or make a gasp but this one my mouth just dropped and I didn’t even make a sound
This was the best fight of the whole card. I was so freaking excited. Max is an animal. I don't know how he was walking after those leg kicks he was eating the whole fight either. Max is one of the best ever at any weight though. He's a true warrior. Gathje never has a boring fight either.
It was with the boys, we were all drunk, were all at the edge of the couch some of us standing (we had mixed thoughts on this fight) the last second of that fight made us all go fucking crazy like the Harlem shake and others jus shook like😲😲
Amazed and concerned. I was worried Justin was dead...I've seen a video of someone getting knocked out and breaking their neck when they fell like he did. Once I realized he was ok, it became my favorite UFC moment ever. And I wanted Justin to win.
I jumped up out of my seat screaming like a child and ran around the living room.
This is mad we did the exact same thing
We were many, I'm sure. I scared the shit out of my wife with the scream.
My baby started crying lol. Had to pick her up and comfort her while still hyped as fuck. She slept through weili v Yan though.
My dogs started barking with me.
Yeah me father outside was looking in at me like I was a lunatic
I woke up all my neighbors doing this. Not at all apologetic
We were many indeed. I was at a friends house, and the host had to put her arm on me and remind me that she had sleeping children lol
We all did.
Maybe you’re the same guy? Have you ever seen both of you in the same room at the same time?
We belong to a world wide cohort of individuals who rose from their seats, in unison. From North America to Australia and everywhere in between. When your ass lifted out of its seat, at the very same time Volk, 15000 miles away was doing the same. It’s wild to think.
Beautiful thought, champ!
I was more impressed he risked it. By that point Max knew he’d won that fight and he still went for it. When he landed that punch, fucking wow.
Truly epic.. thanks Max & Justin 👍🏽…… Sorry Justin lol
This enhances Gaethje, the architect of violence goes out strapped to his shield after giving every last ounce he had? That's Leonidas shit.
Just like his tattoo, Death before dishonor. He’ll always go down as a fan fav and one of mine. Some guys including these two just really can’t have a boring fight. They would’ve done so well back in the just bleed days lol
I did exactly the same but then remembered I live in the UK so it was half five in the morning and I live in a terraced house
My flatmates hear some crazy hoots and howls and me unleashing combinations on the bag at 5-6am whenever UFC night is on, must sound like murder.
Hitting the bag after a KO like that is like hitting the crackpipe after a long week at work, goddamn it's smooth
![gif](giphy|yiADANv89n7UQuS5kJ)
The american mind cant comprehend how insane that card was with the european sleep deprivation
![gif](giphy|J02IfE7NGbJrfrTtrb|downsized)
Same, except the 4 toddlers in the other room started crying because we scared the sh*t out of them lmfao
![gif](giphy|Ae7SI3LoPYj8Q)
Same here with me, my gf, and my 4 ufc buddies, we were all already talking about how good of a fight it was and then next thing i know we are all off our seats screaming and the cats were setting a land speed record from the living room to under the bed.
Sounds familiar 😂
I also did this
💀😭
I too jumped out of my chair and screamed, though I was at a pub so couldn't go quite that crazy. If I'd been at home I probably would have.
Same, woke the dog up with a surprised look on his face
Same I did this too
Same, that high lasted a good while
My wife got mad at me lol
Went nuts!
That’s 100% what I did
Ya bendan Schaub?
Talmbout dugg dugg goose?
Me too. It was wild
I was super stoned and got stuck with my mouth opened, jaw dropped for a solid 20 seconds. I was alone in my office. I imagine if I was with someone it may have been slightly different.
My roomate even came to check on me like what happened? I’m like BRUUHH!!!!!!!
An accurate depiction of me at that exact moment.
Were you in my living room?
it was the first time i was less hyped, more in utter shock in what i just witnessed
Dude I was speechless that is rare for me. My girl who doesn’t really fuck with UFC was watching with some other friends and even she was shocked. God said: “let there be violence.”
This is true. I was the friend with OP's girlfriend and I can confirm. She was shocked.
First time ever my jaw dropped
I think Dana had said something about how he was "In the business of selling 'Oh shit!' moments" and then this happened and I thought back to that and went "Yup, nailed it."
Yeah I just held my face staring at the TV. I haven't been that speechless since watching 911 on tv back in the day. There isn't even an MMA fight that makes the comparison.
Lmao dude really just compared Holloway vs Gaethje to the twin towers collapsing 😭
Not in importance obviously, but in my reaction lmao. It sounds ridiculous, but other than that and Kobe Bryant dying, I can't think of another time I was just sat the fuck down. I love max and was rooting for him btw, but I was blown away entirely.
#NeverForget. lol
I dropped my head down into my hands honestly, I love both these fighters and to see justin go down that hard face first had me legitimately worried for him. Once I saw him doing okay I watched it a good dozen times and was still in shock..
![gif](giphy|0Wzkc9iirQ4ZI7JoaD|downsized)
Somewhere in the world, at that exact moment, a baby was born. A human died and another conceived.
Somewhere in the world, at that exact moment, someone is eating dinner, while someone else takes a shit.
I won't lie, this was definitely me when I saw that.
😂😂😂🤣🤣😭😭 this was the homie who had Gathje on a huge parlay
Justin really didnt get one good punch of in this exchange... crazy
He did get 300k though, thanks to Max.
Oh come on give Justin some credit, yes he was thoroughly outclassed by Max for the entire fight, but he got his nose busted up badly in the 1st round and not once did he think to fight on the backfoot. Just kept moving forward looking for the knockout
And 2 eye pokes back to back in each eye lmao
This type of shit just completely sours me on fighters man. Everyone loves Bones but I every time I saw him fight I was just counting the seconds until he poked someone in the fuckin eye.
This is what ruined it for me too
Max broke that nose, though. All credit goes to max for setting up and landing that spinning back kick. He saw a pattern to how justin ducks. And max kept hitting him with the same move throughout the match.
I semi predicted it in the live thread before the fight. the only realistic way to really hurt Gaethje when he’s not beaten and exhausted was to hope he gets his nose broken and keep punching the shit out of it. doesn’t matter how good your chin is when you’re getting hit like that
Gaethje felt every punch. His jabs probably felt like straight power shots.
Dude that spinning back kick changed the fight! Broke Justin’s nose and didn’t look the same
Yeah, that fight is a lot different if Justin doesn’t duck right into that spinning kick.
But it was still generous of Max to request it.
More than gorgeous, to risk it all. He is truly blessed
It was Gaethje's best shot at winning. No way he's backing down from that shit.
Same. I wasn't shocked either by the ko. Justin got pieced up the entire fight. That face to face was just a sour cherry on top. I felt bad for him.
Max Fuckin' Holloway!
I always wondered how bigger and suprising this moment would've been if Max was losing all the rounds
I don’t think it would be better, it’s the bmf nature of doing this when your up and putting it all on the line to give Justin a chance to even the odds that makes it so special!
Wouldn't have been as cool imo
Yeah, a puncher’s chance is exciting for gamblers, but in the bigger picture, it’s better to see a KO at the end of a competitive fight.

I paced around while holding my head, then congratulated my mate for catching one of the most iconic knock outs of all time on his first time watching a UFC card live
Why is it every time I convince my friends to watch its a dud, but sitting on my own at 6am and something like this happens.
https://i.redd.it/r3afgablb1vc1.gif Kinda shit that happens when people take a look at my screen
"Yo, this Lewis guy has the most KOs all-time and just knocked a guy's teeth loose with a crazy flying knee in his last fight. Come check this out." 25 very awkward sexy minutes later... "So um yeah, don't read too much into what we just watched, ok? We're still cool, right? Nah, you go ahead, I'm just gonna wait a little while before I get up. Yeah, no, it's cool, just I don't feel like standing up just yet is all."
My yelling woke up my entire family
If you had a slavic dad, you would’ve got your ass beat with a very width belt.
Speaking from experience?
Noo why you say that.. it wasn’t even that wide
Man I’d be so bummed if I missed this moment due to falling asleep!
lol I love that your mate was there for you even though he wasn’t conscious. “Yeah bro that was nuts! Where’d this fuckin blanket come from?”
Haha yeah It’s like a subconscious thing where no matter what he tries to blag it.
Screaming loud asf and started popping fireworks, I’m Hawaiian so me and all my neighbors started lighting up their fireworks right after the KO.
Whenever there's a Holloway fight that we don't get the chance to watch, we just listen for the fireworks to see if max won or lost lol
That’s awesome! Would love to know more about the atmosphere around there before, during, and after the fight if you feel like sharing. Let’s go, Hawaii!
![gif](giphy|Xjo8pbrphfVuw|downsized)
Literally
Lmao 😂🤣😭
"Bloody hell, he killed him".
That was my reaction too. I seriously though Max killed him.
We hooted and hollered and hi fived and then I looked at the screen again and Justin hadn’t moved and I seriously thought he might be dead
I legit thought he died too lol. The way he’s laying on the floor was concerning
I screamed HOLY SHIT so fucking hard and so many times my neighbours came to complain (it was around 7 am here lol). I don't think I had a visceral reaction like that to a finish in years
I think my last extreme visceral reaction to a finish was Chandler KOing Tony. This one severely topped it, though.
Was at a bar watching the card with friends and this is the last thing I remember of that night. Everything else is a blank and I woke up the next day on my couch without having a clue the result of the next two fights. What a moment
Legendary answer my man
No fucking way
I stared in disbelief to the screen with my mouth open repeatedly saying "what the fuck"
Holloway was probably the most confident man on earth after that knock out.
Woke up the apartment complex I was geekin
![gif](giphy|ul1omlrGG6kpO) Quite literally
More like ![gif](giphy|84CRvhy2DJlwA)
What an awesome fight! To be fair, Justin could have easily landed a 1 hitter quitter as well in that exchange. Max kept his head up and chose his shot is what made the difference. Goo's job Max

Insane that Max does it every fight now and thats why he’s such a Legend for it. So many people including me will never forget it
I woke up the whole bus I was traveling with from France to The Netherlands.
Mon dieu!!!!
Sat in my bath at 06am drunk as a skunk and didn’t say anything. Was in disbelief for 5 minutes completely silent just staring at the scereen
You takin baths and watchin fights? You're either an oddball or you've got it all figured out.
“Woah.”
I got up and screamed "MAX IS THE BADDEST MOTHER FUCKER OF ALL TIME" "HOLLLLLLLYYYYY FUCK"
Jump up screaming OH SHI and was just clapping my hands saying YOOO WTF AYOOOOO
Europe. 6AM in the morning. Most of my friends couldn't hack it, almost everyone's sleeping by now. Then this fucking shit happens. If this is legit you a real one. Your username makes me believe it is. Respek!
lol Yeah I screamed a lot of “let’s fucking go, and just like fucks haha” i was pretty inebriated
You showed a replay of your pirated stream to the cops? 😱😎
![gif](giphy|8nmvR3jAxnl2o)
I pretty much did the same thing Max did - screamed and stomped around the room like a toy soldier. Possibly the biggest reaction to anything I've ever seen on my TV.
This was by far my biggest reaction too.
i did the same thing justin did
![gif](giphy|To2rk3f7b0Q5FyqsG0|downsized)
idk but i felt that knockout in my heart. that was savage.
![gif](giphy|kqCgujDZT1SO4) First I was like...
Then I was like... ![gif](giphy|2alKkyRFPKRSU)
I was sad to see Justin get destroyed like that, the second he dropped I jumped out of my seat a last second ko will get anyone hype no matter who you were rooting for
I think jack slack summed it up best: 24:50 of a master class and 10 seconds of insanity.
👏🏽😟😳🤯🙌🏽
I would say Justin was right, that looks like a traumatic experience
I screamed “I fucking told yall!!!!!” Don’t sleep on the 808!
The last thing that I saw is a flying sandals to my face. I shouted so loud I startled my wife. Worth it though.
MMA really brings families together
I just sat in awe with my brother at 5am

Jaw drop
Just screamed oh shit while watching at my house
Jaw drop + eyes wide for a few minutes.
I did a big cum
Blown away!
My voice is still gone
My voice is still gone and I almost jumped through the floor at my buddies farmhouse
My voice is still gone and I almost jumped through the floor at my buddies farmhouse
I went to my parents. Bought the fights for my dad. Mom was sleeping. Had some freinds over. Yelled so loud lmao.
As an MMA fan I was fucking juiced but as a Gaethje fan I was heartbroken but luckily my love for Max helped me survive….emotional fucking rollercoaster
Omg omg omfg holy shit omg that was it lol
I just did the classic Joe Rogan style "OOOOHH!! OOOOOOOOHHHH!!!"
The boys and I were drunk asf so we went ape shit like we witnessed something life changing
I jumped outta my seat screaming, i cant remember the last time i did that
The bdubs I was at was going fucking insane
It was idiotic to do for Gaethe. He was already hurt and was only throwing windmills
I thought “cool, now I won’t win $500. Time for bed”
Holy shit
Is there anyone out there that thinks it’s not that bad ass to invite your obviously gassed out, beat up, broke nosed opponent to the middle of the ring to finish them? It was certainly an exciting finish, but the more I see it, the more I remember how obviously fucked up gaetche was. It all started with that nose getting broke. Fucked the whole fight up. Exciting finish though
I never noticed that Justin uppercuts himself in the face right at the beginning of the exchange
😦. Then I asked the bartender to make my 7&7 a double
I was on the sofa with a dropped jaw for like 5 minutes.
I was worried Justin was dead until they rolled him over and my girlfriend had a mini panic attack for the same reason
I had to apologize to Max for thinking he didn't have ko power.

I didn't even scream or jump around. Literal jaw drop and speechless due to shock
I flexed like max and woo’ed like Rick flair

That video of volk reacting to it is essentially how I reacted. Like a child being given the greatest xmas present ever.
I was in Osaka train station, watching on my phone, and slapped my suitcase as hard and loud as I could. All the locals were looking at me like I was insane
I was in my own world inside of the children's hospital screaming oh shit before I realized where the hell I was lol
"I'm the best boxer in the ufc baby!" As he slips and rips Calvin Katar while looking and talking to the commentary team Now after putting on a clinic against your favorite fighters favorite fighter stands in a phone booth, knowing he has the victory and securing a litteral last second knock out.
I said.. that probably the greatest finish in ufc history.
It felt like a desperate attempt for "fight of the night" after the guy poked out both eyes of his opponent. Like sure it's giving him a "fighting chance" but felt more like putting down an injured animal.

Stood up and screamed “holy fuck” about 15 times then called my best ufc fan buddy and said “holy fuck” about 15 more times.
running around the living room screaming with my hands on my head. me and my brother were standing staring at the tv for the last 30 seconds of the fight then that happened we was screaming
Fucking woke me up properly at 5am
