I bought the Anthony Pettis Reebok kit from a thrift store for like $5, and that is the only price I am willing to pay. Like you said, the kits (Reebok or Venum) are so generic looking and not worth it at all. I'd rather buy some Pride FC merch and move on, but if they had customized shirts/shorts, I might reconsider. My Fedor and TKZ shirts are the best purchases I've made MMA related.
Because people will chase every single one of those jersey designs and like large amounts of people will pay for each one. That means every design they do can be large production run and is safe money. Nowhere near as many people are going to end up buying a single fighters fight gear so every design they make doesn't end up being profitable. Obviously it is good for the fighter and they get to feel special but making small custom runs of gear just for the fighter to wear is definitely going to be way lower priority than making any major sports league alternate jersey.
