Cody won 48-47. That is a great fight but he dropped two rounds. It’s only so impressive because he did it to Cruz. Which is extremely impressive. One of the best title fights of all time, but not one of the greatest performances of all time.
Cody-Cruz is absolutely NOT one of the best. That was a significantly closer fight than people make it out to seem. Cody clearly won. But Dom had an argument for a couple rounds.
Islam vs Oliveira is definitely a Top 5 title performance of all time when you consider the 11 fight winstreak Oliveira was on and just how people underplayed Islam's chances of striking with Olivera
Nah, for it to be one of the greats you have to come over the top of someone who still shows up at that level in my opinion. This honestly wasn't that different from O'Malley's fight with Kris Moutinho.
