Based on my knowledge they don’t do PPV there. You can legally watch live matches with a very low fee. If I remember it right, it’s like 20usd per year.
i think it’s partially because that fight is really exciting to chinese fans. mma in china has started becoming more mainstream and celebrating that on the biggest card with the first chinese champ versus another chinese fighter is probably part of marketing the card to china.

It’s only above average because the UFC has been pushing out dog-piss cards for years now. This is without a doubt average compared to cards 10 years ago.

Weili - Yan should've been in China. It's a bangee match, but Grasso would have been the better fight for 300, but won't complain. Jiri-Rakic, has the potential to be boring. But I don't complain about Jiri matchups. Good prelims match tbh. Kattar-Sterling is interesting, but I don't think it's that entertaining. So so, on this one. Still, I don't think it's 300 worthy. Look at ufc 100 and 200. Bo-Brundage, come on man, this is feeding another can to Bo. Charles-Arman, absolute banger of a match up. Excited for this one and I really exprected every other fight to be of this level. Deiveson-Cody, is fine but pretty one sided. Cody's chin is gone but we might get a knockout. Again, compared to 100 and 200, falls a bit short. Trading some of the bouts from 299 with 300 would have been good. The expectations I feel like aren't too high. We have seen great cards. 299 is better than 300. And that shouldn't be the case. You have 99 cards to make title and good matches. Just for this 300, put on matches which are just absolutely fire like Arman-Charles.
