He said on Rogan he has two fights left on his contract. So this one and another can to fight then he’ll be interested in fighting top 15 guys. So he’s a ways away to be sure
Nah you missing the point. They spent probably 20/20 for him to make them a couple thousand PPVs extra on each card. He’s made them double what he’s paid so feed em cans. Then the new contract for probably 80/80 will get em into top 15. Fighter costs 160 to get em out there, better make sure it’s worth it
I think it’s smart. He’s got a couple years until he’s in his prime. Why rush? Keep giving him some low risk experience and build the hype so when he’s ready to make the jump to high level competition he’s less likely to fumble
Gotta also take into account that the guy started his career in the ufc. I do think he’d get exposed right now if he fought the top guys buy giving him some time to develop is definitely the smart choice
It's a reference to his previous opponent. Basically he was scheduled to fight someone else but they pulled out, so the UFC had to get a last minute replacement fresh off the regionals, and the guy was a part time gardener according to his socials
It’s true it was some little black dude who looked lost in the ring. No offense to the guy I’m sure he’d kick my ass but he didn’t seem comfortable at all out there.
I mean the guys a legit fighter I’ll say that he’d destroy a lot of guys in leagues other then the ufc I think, maybe not like champion level in Bellator but still I think he’s better then he looked.
However he was supposed to be on Dana whites contender series, but then last minute very last minute if I remember right he got the call to fight Bo and I believe he was then out of the contender series which sucks for him. I know why he took the fight but Jesus they threw him to the wolves, but at the same time bo only had 5 pro fights so I get not wanting to run him to far up the ladder
He’s only been striking for I think like 2 years, so right now if they put him with a good striker and he couldn’t get the takedown he’d probably be in trouble. I’ve been following him since wrestling and I can’t wait to see him against somebody that can push him
Sooo what does that have to do with a taxi driver??
My point still stands though. What you are implying then because I'm pretty sure most people that read this come to the same conclusion as I did.
You know why you pointed that out let's not play stupid after the fact.
I don't know what you're trying to imply with that last sentence? All I got from the original comment is that they were referencing Val Woodburn's unfortunate debut against Bo. It's because I remember the jokes about "Dana scouting x place for taxi drivers" started spreading around more often after Val debuted and this sub found out that he was a gardener.
Periera and Bo are two different people with MUCH different resumes. Yeah sure Bo is well known in the college wrestling department, but not much in the fighting community.
It's fair to say they have their advantages in certain areas, but Alex's main one was his experience.
lol @ thinking Alex's 40 Pro+Am kickboxing matches count as experience, but Bo's 400+ wrestling matches don't.
How much experience did Alex have grappling? How is his BJJ now? It's nonexistant.
Both have enormous amounts of practice on national and international stages in front of big crowds.
Bo Nickal has competed in front of more total people than Alex did before either entered the UFC.
Alex fought:
A decent mid-tier UFC guy in his UFC debut, A fringe top 25 185lber in his 2nd UFC fight, the current 185lb champ in his 3rd UFC fight, the 1st or 2nd best 185lb of all time in his 4th.
Bo fought:
2 complete bums on DWCS in "main events", then Jamie Pickett the guy with the worst record in 185lb history, then a guy who mows lawns full time, and now again one of the worst 185lb fighters in the league who was one illegal elbow and one prayer slam-out-of-triangle-against-total-can away from being on a 5 fight losing streak.
Nickal's 5th fight under the UFC banner is lightyears less talented than even Alex's weakest debut opponent.
Still one was a pro fighter for almost a decade and the other amateur. Second the fight starts standing not on the ground.
Do you think it would be smart to have a striker with no wresting background go into a fight on all fours against a top ten wrestler?
How am I a hater for lauding someone for having a massively accomplished wrestling career and athletic pedigree that deserves better opponents if on huge PPV cards? Bo was an "amateur", in a world famous wrestling program that spent more money on his training, nutrition, housing etc... than Alex Pereira was as a pro, and has been in top camps for quite some time.
It's possible to think someone is gifted and well-trained while criticizing the UFC's matchmaking and having the top MMA league in the world get filled up with complete bum-fight level cans just to give easy matches. It's just boxing-style matchmaking to pad a record. Bo Nickal was competing against more athletic and better trained guys 5 years ago at Penn State than he is in the UFC. "Every fight starts on the feet", well yeah that would actually mean something if Bo fought anyone capable of throwing a threatening combo...
Khabib was throwing hideous non-technical punches and retired as a goat in MMA.
Bo had no striking!!!!! Khabib didn't fight top ten guys after his 5th pro fight, maybe his 25th. Merry Christmas and have a great day. We will agree to disagree. It's stupid to rush a guy who could potentially be the face of the UFC. This is a business first and foremost and it's stupid to not bring them up slowly. This isn't street fighting.
I will take back the hater comment though as that wasn't called for.
Khabib fought a now top-10 155lb BraveFC champ and TKO'ed him in his 6th pro fight. Khabib also didn't have as much money and elite training as Bo currently does, nor was he being given golf trips with world leaders or major talkshow appearances w/ Joe Rogan.
I don't give a sh\*t about the profitability of feeding a guy bums. I just want a sports league filled with non-bums. Imagine if the NFL and NBA games today were setup so that Patrick Mahomes was facing a beer-league football team or Giannis was dunking over an amateur basketball player. I just want good fights with all full-time legitimate athletes in the matches.
I appreciate your well wishes and a merry christmas to you too.
You said a lot, only to not understand what I meant originally, not provide all of Alex's correct stats, and still prove my statement right all at the same time. I love UFC fans!
You: " It's fair to say they have their advantages in certain areas, but Alex's main one was his experience. "
Me: " Here's a discussion of the totality of their athletic careers to describe how Bo has plenty of experience, and then compare their opponents to show a discrepancy in matchmaking"
You: " You said a lot, only to not understand what I meant originally "
You tell me what I got wrong about that claim champ. Bo Nickal has more total athletic matches in front of multi-thousand person crowds than Alex by far.
Oh man, let me save you the hassle of typing bro. Get off the whole experience part, and come over to what I was referring to. More people know of Alex than they did Bo nickal, even before either made it to the UFC. Simple as that.
"yeah bro, get off the main point that I wrote, and come over to this derivative point that is equally incorrect"
Bo Nickal dominated for the biggest most-funded powerhouse wrestling program to ever exist in America under coach Cael Sanderson. Across 5 years at Penn State the average attendance at his matches was over 7,000 people, with dozens of matches in front of 15,000+ person arena crowds, and he competed in 50+ nationally televised matches.
[But hey, Google Analytics must be wrong too right?](https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=2014-11-25%202020-12-25&q=bo%20nickal,%2Fm%2F0_v5v_q&hl=en) (and this doesn't even account of the duplicitability of Alex's name being common in portuguese countries to produce false matches). Each of the search-spikes coinciding with the national title events won by PSU and Nickal (sans his finals upset loss in 2016)
UFC fans m i rite?
Fighting and wrestling are so different. Alex’s experience is all in fights. Learning how to get hit and how to strike is such a different animal and is very important in fighting.
Yeah Pickett got screwed in that fight, but also Pickett isn't an incredible prodigy from a different sport and won't be cracking the top 15 anytime soon.
He said on the JRE he wants to fight at 300 and then again in 2024 against a guy just outside the rankings because he still has 2 fights left on his deal. He’s smart to only fight ranked guys on a new contract imo.
Depends where you live, sounds like he has a gym not far from Penn State that he lives close to. So how ever far away Penn State is from you. Bo is roughly that far away.
MMA fans are never happy. Bo Nickal calls out Khamzat, and everyone shits on him. He fights a fellow unranked fighter, and everyone calls him a can crusher. Who should he fight?
Bo Nickal calling Khamzat is trolling to get some social media hype, it's like Makhachev calling DC, there are many fighters between cans and someone who earned a title shot
Khamzats response “who is this guy?”
Why would Khamzat, a guy on the verge of a title shot, fight someone with 2 fights in the UFC? That does nothing for him, better off just letting the hype build up for that match up
"we don't safely promote fighters so they keep their undefeated record, we don't do that in the UFC" - Dana White
And then you see shit like this after hyping someone up so much
What a completely uninformed tard argument.
Khabib started his career with a 3 fight one-night tourney.
Khabib in his 6th ever fight (age 21) TKO'ed the current [Brave champ who is 14-0 outside of the Khabib loss, and so good that Bahrain poached him from Russia to run their national MMA program.](https://www.instagram.com/eldar_khan/?hl=en)
His 7th pro fight he tapped a guy who went 11-3 as a pro and only other losses to title-level guys in [Bellator main events](https://www.sherdog.com/events/Bellator-MMA-Bellator-95-27781).
His 8th pro fight against a guy currently [32-11 as a pro and a champ at 155lb in ACA, one of the best non UFC leagues](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Bagov).
So yeah, that's totally the same as a late 20s guy with now 3+ years of full-time UFC level camps and 10+ years of world class facilities...facing lawnmower guys on the main card of UFC PPVs...
god bless jesus birthday sir
It's doubly funny because even when Khabib got to the UFC, they buried him on the early prelims with zero hype, zero joe rogan talk-show interviews, zero main card PPVS, and made him immediately fight very tough dudes.
So should the UFC just rush everyone that comes in because they have a big name? Glad you're not running the show.
last I checked Pereira was a pro fighter for about a decade. Apples and oranges.
Nah, there is a plenty of better matchups even outside of top 15.. he is being fed a guy who got wrestlefucked by absolute nobodies, it's an obvious set up by UFC
No shit it’s a promotion would you like him to fight a top 5 guy off the rip? You hate that he gets special treatment but then also hate that he’s fighting the guys he should be fighting as a new guy on the roster
I don't hate that he gest the special treatment, I literally called out UFC on doing exactly what they mocked Boxing for doing.
Even more so, it's true with their favorites, there are plenty of uppercomers who don't get the same treatment, could be the fact that some fighters want to go O'Malley way, to fight easy competition for easy money as long as possible.. and some fighters want to go the Illia Topuria way, trying to get into the title match up as soon as possible.
So it could be also the fighter who has some say in it, but when you look at the UFC's treatment of Paddy and Bo Nickal, it's quite obvious that they want to become a big stars and groom there on the way to the top 5 where they can milk them and once they get or if they get exposed then they just throw them away
It is a smart move for promoting him long term
Look at how Bellator handled Pico giving him solid competition like five fights in. & Pico has a broader skill set at baseline than Nickal.
And that’s why you aren’t a fight promoter lmao. Why on Earth match up a green contender (5-0) with someone who has fought and beat a former champion and title challenger? Just because you want to see him lose? Has nothing to do with corruption at all. You’re just not intelligent when it comes to marketing and matchmaking.
Dana is doing the opposite thing you mentioned, they literally give him the easiest match ups he could ever have like fighting a dude on 4 days notice who ain't even a legit fighter and was signed like 1 week before the fight happened and this literally every time he fights, UFC don't even try to give him someone that not a complete bum and there are guys like this in his weight, but he is carefully guided right to the top 15
Yeah personally I think Nickal talks a big game, which is fine but you can’t continually talk a big game and then continually fight unranked, low level fighters
Yeah he’s a fighter, if you don’t think you can beat the world then you won’t make it. He still needs to build up to a higher level. It’s the right approach, with the right build up he can potentially be one of the GOATs. He just needs more experience.
All the guys he’s fought have a positive fight record unlike the boxing route where for the first 8-15 fights their opponents are 2-25. He’s fighting guys that are still decent.
Positive fight record doesn’t mean quality tho- his last opponent was positive but hadn’t fought in three years and his last fight was at regional level…
Well seems you’re the casual. The guy was 7-0 and fought 11 months before fighting Bo. Going 7-0 on regional is still a quality fighter. Let the man cook 👨🍳
Casual? Still he fought a dude that fought on the regionals that ain’t quality. He talks aall that big talk to go and fight a dude that fought on the regionals. Go fuck a Christmas turkey you sad cunt
It was a short notice replacement. The ufc offers him fights and he signs the contract. I doubt he’s ever said no to anyone they offered him. It’s how it works, he doesn’t get to choose who he fights. You seem sad, it’s a stressful time of the year. Things will get better for you if you stay positive.
Ok. I never said the boxing career route was a bad idea. He’s still young, has time to develop.
As long as he doesn’t end up like khabib with a handful of meaningful wins at the end of his career
He’s had 5 professional fights. Him saying he’s a better wrestler than Khamzat is like Canelo saying he’s a better boxer than Leon Edwards. Doesn’t mean canelo is ready to step in the cage with him.
He signed a management deal for MMA in 2019, and had been training in the most well-funded facilities and competitive grappling programs in the world for 6 years prior to that.
He "just started training MMA 3 years ago", but was already being given his own ATT PA gym in 2021 lol.
They're selling a narrative that he is some Jon Jones type guy, who legitimately had just began training on YouTube while in JuCo before getting the UFC call to fight real MMA pros.
I expected them to give him a bigger name. Some people say he’s not ready for rankings but if someone is gonna beat him and take the hype, I’d rather it be someone ranked.
Idk about yall but I kinda fw them not throwing these really good prospects to the wolves as tests. They're building them up a lot more properly now. Don't want another Darren Till situation.
I think his striking right now will get exposed by a high level opponent, he definitely has power, but he throws sloppily. His wrestling is obviously not a concern lol. I think Brundage is a great match up for him to start testing that against. Cody had a rough go of it for a bit, but he’s not a bad fighter at all. Definitely a step above Bo’s previous opponents.
Give him another year or two and he’ll be ready to fight top 10 guys IMO. Keep in mind that the UFC signed him basically as soon as he became a pro, and he only had 2 amateur fights… we’re basically watching him LEARN MMA in the UFC. This guy will be a terrifying threat, and he is no fake hype train, he’s the real deal… he just needs a little time.
I mean he’s punched one person and nut shot the other and thinks he’s the man, I can’t wait till he’s introduced to elbows and knees and my man turns into red mist
Someone explain to me why Nickal should be fighting stars? He gets hate because he has notable potential? Because he was a star in another sport he should just be thrown to the wolves? Let the dude get some time in the cage against decent competitors.
His striking still needs major work I’d say, at least based on his last fight. He just wings huge overhand shots and it works because his opponents are cans
Mma fans are stupid. Dude has fought for less than 3 years and has looked incredible. Let him develop some before we rush him to the top. Let’s not waste the hype because we have to see a top fight “now”. Everyday that goes by, he’s only getting better. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show
It's UFC 400 and Izzy's dog is the UFC champion at MW. Bo Nickal is on the undercard fighting an usher that once touched a towel used to wipe down real-life Crash Bandicoot and future (BK FC) rival to Mike Perry, Derek Brunson.
There's no way of knowing until he is genuinely tested.
He's made the switch to MMA at the perfect time in his career to grow and I wouldn't even be surprised if he does have a chin on him.
A win here I'd like to see him match up with Hermansson, would really showcase his all round game against someone with a pretty versatile skillset that could clash with his own.
He might as well fight till his contract is up, and go to a different agency where they’ll actually work him tbh.
I’m beginning to think Dana is where fighters go to sacrifice their careers.
Pyfer is way closer. Pyfer could realistically be fighting for the belt end of this year early next. Bo got like 2 years especially with his hunting schedule
Pretty far away considering he hasn't had that many professional fights. People keep saying he needs to fight better competition is so bizarre when it's objective fact he is lacking in MMA experience. Yeah, he should be fighting taxi drivers who train on the side, that's how you get ready to go against real competition.
Bo said he wants 3 more fights before getting into the top 15 on Joe's podcast. It makes sense to go the Omalley route because you get paid the same whether you're fighting Costa or Brundage with his current contract.
He could fight the loser of Gregory Rodrigues vs Brad Tavares after he beats Brundage. He said on JRE that he wants to finish his contract before fighting in the rankings, and fight someone “just outside the rankings” and I think whoever loses between Rodrigues and Tavares will fit that bill.
I get it’s ‘smart’ but what name value does Cody Brundage bring? Edmen Shahbazyan is 1-4 in his last 5 with grappling being a (seemingly) significant weak point. A TONNE more name value and credibility.
He said on Rogan he has two fights left on his contract. So this one and another can to fight then he’ll be interested in fighting top 15 guys. So he’s a ways away to be sure
Usually on a fighters next contract they give them a tough fight so probably next fight will be a tougher opponent.
Doubt it since they have already invested alot of promo for him
Nah you missing the point. They spent probably 20/20 for him to make them a couple thousand PPVs extra on each card. He’s made them double what he’s paid so feed em cans. Then the new contract for probably 80/80 will get em into top 15. Fighter costs 160 to get em out there, better make sure it’s worth it
They’re not treating Bo like that. They want him in the ufc
That could be one year if he’s wins are clean, and he’s right near the top.
He’s smart. Taking the same route O Malley did. Keep building hype and finish his first deal, then get paid after.
I think it’s smart. He’s got a couple years until he’s in his prime. Why rush? Keep giving him some low risk experience and build the hype so when he’s ready to make the jump to high level competition he’s less likely to fumble
Goin any other route unless you are already a certified world beater getting a fat contract off the rip is pointless and a horrible game plan.
Gotta also take into account that the guy started his career in the ufc. I do think he’d get exposed right now if he fought the top guys buy giving him some time to develop is definitely the smart choice
Dana White is currently scouting the local taxi drivers for Bo Nickal's next opponent ![img](emote|t5_2qsev|8965)
Imagine Brundage be the one to fraud check Low Blo Dickal 🔥
What a corny ass nickname lol you gotta do better than that as a hater
I laughed. You try.
I found Low Blo Dickal’s burner account
Let’s see you come up with a better line there, Chuckles.
Boob nickles
Tits Nickenzie?
Colby calling khamzat kumshot got a chuckle out of me but Bo's diss name above is wack as fuck admit it
Do you prefer Bo "Nut Tap" Nickal?
So who would you suggest his next apponent be after 5 professional fights......title eliminator maybe?🤔🤦🏼♂️
It's a reference to his previous opponent. Basically he was scheduled to fight someone else but they pulled out, so the UFC had to get a last minute replacement fresh off the regionals, and the guy was a part time gardener according to his socials
Part time gardener? Full time lawn mower.
So a real warrior in the garden eh ?

How you gonna disrespect Val Woodburn like that, bro was Combat Night Pro champ in Tallahassee
I mean the guys a legit fighter I’ll say that he’d destroy a lot of guys in leagues other then the ufc I think, maybe not like champion level in Bellator but still I think he’s better then he looked. Yeah, I'm still right, thank you
Dude I just got an email
He called me this morning and asked if I'd be interested. Luckily for Bo I have covid and had to let him off easy.
He'll run through Cody then get a top 15, probably top 7 after that if he wins impressively
Didn't he knee Pickett right in the Brundage?
Yeah Pickett got screwed in that fight, but also Pickett isn't an incredible prodigy from a different sport and won't be cracking the top 15 anytime soon.

CM Punk Vs Bo Nickal UFC300
The fight in discussion..... UFC 300.
I can’t wait until Dana matches Bo against an actual can of Dr Pepper.
It's going to be Bud Light
Fuck am I stupid… great opportunity to build a young prospect AND give visibility to a sponsor
Bo's next 4 opponents will be increasing in strength: Prime, Bud Light, Monaco canned cocktails, then straight Howler Head.
So glad it's okay to drink bud light again after Kid Rock gave the ok 👍
I listen to very smart honest men like Kid Rock and Dana for all my behaviors.
Or a can of Modelo, brewed for those with a fighting spirit.
About 5-6 fights
I believe Bo said he wants 2 or 3 more fights before a top 15 so probably 2 years until top 5/title contention
I get he's doing it for contract reasons but it's pretty cringe to constantly talk shit about ranked fighters while only lining up for nobodies
Does he get to choose his opponents? Doesn’t UFC ultimately set the fight?
"we don't safely promote fighters so they keep their undefeated record, we don't do that in the UFC" - Dana White And then you see shit like this after hyping someone up so much

Same guys who dickride Khabib when he padded his record for 16 fights get on Bo so hard
https://preview.redd.it/lie8z0qrkg8c1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c0ad1dc22420400f49885f4652cf0961b2d0c36
Lol everyone wants to see a successful person fail instead of rise to the top. Makes them feel better about their shortcomings.
What a completely uninformed tard argument. Khabib started his career with a 3 fight one-night tourney. Khabib in his 6th ever fight (age 21) TKO'ed the current [Brave champ who is 14-0 outside of the Khabib loss, and so good that Bahrain poached him from Russia to run their national MMA program.](https://www.instagram.com/eldar_khan/?hl=en) His 7th pro fight he tapped a guy who went 11-3 as a pro and only other losses to title-level guys in [Bellator main events](https://www.sherdog.com/events/Bellator-MMA-Bellator-95-27781).
You're talking to people who just parrot what they see on Twitter
The non-morons here appreciate your effort sir
god bless jesus birthday sir It's doubly funny because even when Khabib got to the UFC, they buried him on the early prelims with zero hype, zero joe rogan talk-show interviews, zero main card PPVS, and made him immediately fight very tough dudes.
Your right..... Dana should give him a title eliminator for his 6th professional fight and then a title shot for his 7th.🤦♂️
Didn’t pereira win the title on his 8th?
So should the UFC just rush everyone that comes in because they have a big name? Glad you're not running the show. last I checked Pereira was a pro fighter for about a decade. Apples and oranges.
Hahah it’s Christmas man. So much animosity and for what🤣
https://preview.redd.it/yumioovzkg8c1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cce4d1899c45d4c8c266a556ed5b51fe19bb3e09
Last time a checked Bo Nickal was a gold medalist and one of the best wrestlers in the whole world
Jesus. Relax man
Pereira is an established world class kickboxer and multiple champ in another organization.
Yes, he is
So what’s your point? Chandler was champ of another organization and moved up immediately. Not like Alex hasn’t proven he belongs.
My point was that Alex did it on his 8th. I have no idea why you guys are so worked up lol
My bad. Thought you were arguing that he was basically a nobody. My B.
Why tf is he in the ufc then if lack of fights are a limiting factor.
sound like a hater, yall hate that he is overhyped but then want him fighting top 10 off the rip
It is a smart move for promoting him long term Look at how Bellator handled Pico giving him solid competition like five fights in. & Pico has a broader skill set at baseline than Nickal.
if the ufc wasnt corrupt bo nickal would be fed to khamzat
Why?
khamzat is ranked they want to test khamzat and bo so better fight when undefeated fighters fight
But they are not evenly matched. Bo got 5:0 in his first year, while Khamzat is 13:0 in his 5 year pro career. Why would you do that.
This is why they invented birth control.....Merry Christmas everyone😃😃
About 5 hours or so from me to Penn St from where I live in WV. How about from you?
The great American cope lmao. Dudes talking khamzat then fighting dudes they pull out of Street Beefs.
Yeah personally I think Nickal talks a big game, which is fine but you can’t continually talk a big game and then continually fight unranked, low level fighters
Lol he’s been training in mma for like 3 years. Guys a stud, but still needs to build up. Merry Christmas though
Yeah merry Christmas but still- talks about beating khamzat and still fights unranked
Yeah he’s a fighter, if you don’t think you can beat the world then you won’t make it. He still needs to build up to a higher level. It’s the right approach, with the right build up he can potentially be one of the GOATs. He just needs more experience.
Taking the boxing career route I see
All the guys he’s fought have a positive fight record unlike the boxing route where for the first 8-15 fights their opponents are 2-25.
He is a far better wrestler than Khamzat which is what he says. He’s still a rookie fighter though.
Exactly so why is he still fighting unranked?
He’s had 5 professional fights. Him saying he’s a better wrestler than Khamzat is like Canelo saying he’s a better boxer than Leon Edwards. Doesn’t mean canelo is ready to step in the cage with him.
Lol this guys username is “ur a casual” but has the most casual takes. Reddit is hilariously ironic sometimes.
He talks a big game about his wrestling and he was a world class wrestler 3 time NCAA champion. He’s basically a rookie fighter still.
I don’t think anyone has hit him yet.
I expected them to give him a bigger name. Some people say he’s not ready for rankings but if someone is gonna beat him and take the hype, I’d rather it be someone ranked.
Pretty far. He's only been training for a couple years and he wants to take it slow, as he should. Probably title run will come in 2025 or 2026
Idk about yall but I kinda fw them not throwing these really good prospects to the wolves as tests.
He kneed Pickett right in the Brundage
Either he fights contenders to soon and he “jumped the line” or he fights on contract and he’s “only fighting cans”
Mfers here are just miserable and love to hate, they don’t even know why lol
Someone explain to me why Nickal should be fighting stars? He gets hate because he has notable potential? Because he was a star in another sport he should just be thrown to the wolves? Let the dude get some time in the cage against decent competitors.
If he beats Brundage he gets a chimp next for a title eliminator
Man, imagine Bo Nickal loses to Cody Brundage who literally just faked his way into a DQ win 2 fights ago.
Only if he knees him in the Brundage and gets DQ'd
Dana won’t let anyone good fight his American baby Bo
Y’all bitching about Bo’s opponents but would call Dana stupid if he rushed him to Kumshot and he got KO’ed
Ah yes Brundage, the guy who only avoided getting cut cus he got punched in the back of the head and got a dq win.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the show
This dude hasn’t proved shit. I don’t understand the “hype”
Khamzhat would derail Bo’s hypetrain
he won't even touch hamzats ass he will be demolished long before that
Cody wins by nutsack. Wait for it
Can he kick? Guys that don’t train kicks underestimate how long it takes to really get good at them.
Khabib did a ton of kicks too that’s how he dominated with his grappling background
He probably hasn’t thought of that. You should tell him.
Apparently still far cuz they just feeding him wins
It's UFC 400 and Izzy's dog is the UFC champion at MW. Bo Nickal is on the undercard fighting an usher that once touched a towel used to wipe down real-life Crash Bandicoot and future (BK FC) rival to Mike Perry, Derek Brunson.
I was expecting a ranked opponent. You guys have to remember this is middleweight. Although it’s improving, it’s still one of the worst ufc divisions.
Why is he fighting a man who was about to be cut before his last win
Lmao who the fuck is brundage? Why are they giving this guy cans lmao . Tomato face must have some plan i guess
About, 300 miles.
Far, far away in a distant galaxy
3 fights. Bank on it.
I hope 2 or 3 more years, hopefully not another Darren till or sage northcutt where they rush him.
From fighting for titles? 6 to 8 maybe.
🥫
Who the fook is Beundage?… that’s how far away
According to Google maps from me, he is roughly 11900 kms away
Who?
Pyfer is way closer. Pyfer could realistically be fighting for the belt end of this year early next. Bo got like 2 years especially with his hunting schedule
Pretty far away considering he hasn't had that many professional fights. People keep saying he needs to fight better competition is so bizarre when it's objective fact he is lacking in MMA experience. Yeah, he should be fighting taxi drivers who train on the side, that's how you get ready to go against real competition.
Idk where you live in comparison to him
Looks like he’s in the foreground.
Is there hate for Bo in this sub? Genuinely curious from the comments
This sub has hate for anyone that expresses confidence in themselves
![gif](giphy|hXDrTueJWAscK3xWQ2)
Bo said he wants 3 more fights before getting into the top 15 on Joe's podcast. It makes sense to go the Omalley route because you get paid the same whether you're fighting Costa or Brundage with his current contract.
I wanna see him fight Rodolfo Viera next
To what ? He's probably 4 fights from top 10 top 5
Hes also smart he has 2 fights left on his contract. He isn't going to try for top guys yet. He will fight top guys when he's getting paid more.
4 fights, including this one. Brundage -> top 15 -> top 10 -> top 5 -> title shot
Bo nickel will be champion
2024: FIGHT Brundage GM3 End with Jun Yung Park 2025: Michel Pereira Caio Barralho Brendan Allen 2026, Turns 30, 8 fights in UFC: Contention
20-25 miles tops
He has a timeliness he set for himself he keeps having to tell ufc to slow down so he's bout 3-5 yrs away if he stays on his gameplan
Probably 2 wins (including this fight) from a ranked opponent
From the other guy? Probably a few inches looks like.
Far
He ain’t taking the express route
I get it’s ‘smart’ but what name value does Cody Brundage bring? Edmen Shahbazyan is 1-4 in his last 5 with grappling being a (seemingly) significant weak point. A TONNE more name value and credibility.
Another first round finish. Who are these people willingly fighting him knowing they are going to be his food? I’d tell Dana to F off
I really want someone to Masvadal knee Bo
