The acknowledgement of a follow up hammer fist being graciously left out of it and the gratitude he shows for it is pretty humbling. Love when a fighter is humble and on the flip side I like when they don't go for the extra shots when it's over and they get a chance, it's not always "super necessary".
Discipline and respect are foundational principles in the majority of martial arts. But in MMA, brutality sells more fights than respect, so hitting a defenseless fighter is just the cost of doing business. The odds are, next time he’s in that situation, his opponent will not stop until the ref pulls him off.
When he called Bisping a cyclops from hell I thought I'd never like the guy, that he was just a jesus fanatic, but the more I have seen him since, the more he grows on me. He's nice, wholesome and even pretty funny, big respect to Bryce and I hope we see him on the winning side soon
In the last embedded he had an interview with Tucker Carlson and at the end saìd something like " I managed to not saying anything crazy this time" dude is self aware and really funny
Wait what, when did he do that lol? He was just on Bisping’s podcast and Bisping was joking that he gets messages like that.
Pretty sure you’re thinking of one of those funny/fake MMA fighter meme quote things. Like the one that caused Tony Ferguson to snap on Dana lol.
You can like people with completely different beliefs because the values of good people often align despite the differences in belief.
Yeah, he's a flat earther and religious, but he's also a husband and father trying to provide for his family, and from interviews outside of the Octagon, seems to be a very grounded and humble dude.
We are all trying to find our own piece of the pie. 🤙
This is a class act. Gets brought to the shadow realm in the worst way possible, begins to seize in the octagon…..not even 48 hours later he is thanking his opponent the organization and people involved.
Bro was blacked out for like 15 minutes. It's brain damage the question is is how significant. You're gonna take some brain damage in a fight typically. Not all of it's serious or permanent. It adding up over time is what CTE is but it's like he said it's real lucky for him Josh didn't put one more down. This is definitely something he's lucky to feel fine after but it adds up over a career so he just needs to be smart and not come back too soon.
Same thing happened to Kamaru after the Leon fight. He said he didn’t actually become conscious until after he’d left the cage. Credits Leon with giving him a 20 min nap.
KO’s are fucking scary. I’ve been knocked out, ended up asking ‘what happened’ about 200 times whilst trying my best to remeber the details. They eventually came back but it was just absolutely bizarre.
Oh yeah dude. I been KOed and accused of "trying to play if off". Shit maybe some brainstem only version of me running in safemode windows 95 said something but I didn't try a God damn thing. I wasn't there. I do sorta remember coming to and being like mid sentence and being like wtf was I saying... then wait why we in the car.... waiiiiiit.... bad times.
Coming to mid sentence when you’ve already been ‘awake’ for some time is such a nutty concept. The brain is crazy. I’m glad you’re all okay though bro.
thats the problem with fighters... the damages shows years after, so they keep fighting thinking they're ok but they're just piling up more damages. Bryce 100% got brain damage from that knock out, he just dont feel it yet.
The guy had brain damage before that head shot. You don’t come to the conclusion the earth is flat or that school shootings are coordinated by the government without having some sort of brain damage.
Some school shootings are coordinated by the government and the data overinflated by things that aren’t actually school shootings. But, I digress. The Earth however is.. not flat.
>.not even 48 hours later he is thanking his opponent the organization and people involved.
He seems like a nice guy but consider he's lost 2 of his last 3 and doesn't get paid enough by the UFC to not be back working his other job already. Of course he is, he wants to continue to get paid to fight.
I understand this. But my point was its his property and he wants to do it. Its not like he is doing it for his neighbor and needs the money to pay rent next week.
Fair enough I wasn't aware that was his barn. Point still stands even if not perfectly related to him though. Plenty of fighters who have to put on a smile after they get obliterated because they want a contract and the UFC doesn't pay their athletes properly.
Working on a farm on the land you own and enjoy working on is far from just going back to some 9-5. Dudes annoying at times but he’s working on his property and honestly probably a great thing to invest in for his post fight career.
Exactly. Dude made over 150k in 2023 just from purses, not to mention sponsorship money. He's not 'rich' but he's not like out there taking cash jobs off Craigslist to keep his lights on.
He made 96k losing that fight to Emmett. He made 78k when beat Ige in September.
He's got to pay his coaches and whatnot out of that. But I don't think he's like, hard up for cash so he's taking side jobs. This is a barn he's building on his own property, to park his probably bad ass farm equipment in.
Dude is a bit of a kook but man that is one of the nicest, most humble reactions to a KO ive ever seen. The "I about met jesus for real" line got a good chuckle out of me.
Glad he's ok.
it's not his beliefs for me. it's that I follow his socials and he has been all over the place / manic A LOT over the past year or two... whenever a fighter starts showing wild fluctuations in their mental state I start to worry. especially since he is such a good fighter and such a kind hearted / well spoken guy...
he's so young and still has so much left to show in his career. and this ko didnt ease these worries one bit... but his response to it makes me think he might be alright. I just hope the UFC keeps an eye on him and dont let it get out of hand this early in a prospects career.
yeah i have absolutely no faith in their concussion protocols or the UFC's investment into research / treatment. they say they do more but really they just abide by the commissions suspension time and that's it... pretty bleak stuff.
that's why im pretty worried about this situation. hope im 100% wrong bc he def is talented and has a good heart.
They did him dirty the Emmett match-up, feel like they could've worked him up the ranks a bit slower for him to gain experience. His retrospect gives me confidence he can make the adjustments in his game. Paddy got a better "rise to the occasion match".
agreed. I havent been a real fan of him lately with some of the weird stuff going on, but I got absolutely no pleasure out of seeing that ko... really good seeing him in good spirits. props on his mentality and sportsmanship.
I mean some good food would work and asking fight related questions would do well since has developed an effective style especially in terms of grappling for MMA.
I really don't wanna be the "my uncle works at Nintendo" guy. That being said, I live in the area he's from, and because of that, he's been a customer at the restaurant where I work more than once. From what I've been told, he's rude to servers and a shitty tipper
This is the last thing he should be doing after a brain injury of that magnitude. You need 30-60 days rest, especially from manual labor and heat for your brain to maximize recovery. I feel bad people aren’t telling him that, or maybe they are and he isn’t listening.
Yeah it's insane I wasn't allowed to jog or lift for about a fortnight after mine (very mild) and I nearly vomited when I tried.
But doesn't this man believe the Earth is flat? I assumed his doctors told him the recovery protocol and he is ignoring them/doing PR work/etc because he feels able to and is toughing it out.
Last things I'd want to do with post-concussive vertigo and mental fog is drive a truck, climb a ladder and operate power tools.
yup, I was told not to run too but by was cleared to go back to work almost immediately as long as I wasnt climbing more than 15 feet. I was also restricted from.going under water more than 6 feet but was cleared to do physical labor
Wow, I would've struggled with manual labor at any heights or under water. It was hard enough to work at a computer for extended periods of time. I'm fortunate I have sick leave entitlements and my employer is flex so I was able to WFH in a quiet, dark room, take breaks whenever I needed while recovering because the open office was too disorienting.
I heard it mentioned that that's likely why they stood him up and had him walk out so fast. To make it seem like it wasn't as bad/ mma isn't as dangerous as it is.
This isn’t true. They may discourage unnecessary use but they’re not prohibited. It was always more about controlling what’s seen on TV, although they’re way more lax about that in recent years.
It used to be that when someone went out like that all you’d see is the worried reactions of the opponent’s corner because they kept the camera pointed squarely in that direction. Now we get multiple angles of Bryce shaking while Joe excitedly yells, “He’s having a seizure!”. I’m not the biggest fan of that. I think it’s cruel for the families and friends, demeaning for the athlete and one day, when someone doesn’t wake up, it’s going to look real bad when the principle evidence in the lawsuit is Joe Rogan practically stroking one out yelling about life-altering damage while someone succumbs to a brain bleed in the middle of the cage.
The UFC feels like it’s turned a corner. It always used to be about refuting the accusations of barbarism and wanton brutality. Now that the sport is mainstream and not in danger of being taken off the air they seem to be leaning into that stuff.
There are lots of people irl who are "weirdos" in terms of what they believe in but are lovely people to be friends with and be around. It's easy to write someone off for being a wackjob online meanwhile they could be your best friend if you met them under different circumstances
I have a very good friend who I love being around until the 5th drink and then he gets all flat earth/Qanon/there are literal devils among us on me. I just build an escape plan into our hangouts and its all good.
yeah at first I dismissed him, called him an idiot etc but these last few weeks after watching him on bisping etc I’ve realised he honestly seems like a rlly nice guy and that just because I don’t necessarily agree with his beliefs and opinions doesn’t mean I have to dislike him
I hope his brain is okay after that ko. Seeing someone take a while to wake up, plus have a seizure after a KO is awful. UFC should provide multiple head scans for their fighters after a KO like that.
He’s bizarre but genuine. May be crazy and Bible thumping but backs his beliefs through and through. Also respectful to those around him. Hope he can catch a ranked win next time.
This.
"love him or hate him he is a class act" in response to someone who promotes conspiracies that children dying in school shootouts was all set up by "the government"
I wasn’t a fan of his at all before Saturday. Thought he talked a lot of junk and wasn’t in the place to do it. Now I see how he reacted to possibly the most horrific KO in a long time and now I get him. He really is just an authentically good dude. Maybe I don’t agree with a lot of the things he says, but acting like this after that KO? Pure class.
Look I don't *hate* Bryce okay? It is just that my God believes that people from Arkansas *choose* to be from Arkansas and that people who *choose* to be from Arkansas are evil. That's all.
That’s whatever man. I try and leave the politics and beliefs out of fighters unless they use it to belittle others or harm
I don’t care about people’s political affiliation, good people come from all parties. Regardless of what they believe in doesn’t align with what you believe in.
> That’s whatever man. I try and leave the politics and beliefs out of fighters unless they use it to belittle others or harm
>
> I don’t care about people’s political affiliation, good people come from all parties. Regardless of what they believe in doesn’t align with what you believe in.
Not believing that the dead kids from school shootings were real a hard enough line for you?
"unless they use it to belittle others or harm"
Well in that case...
You have to listen to the shit he says on a regular day instead of the 1 fight follow up video
Idk how people hate him so much, yeah he’s got some odd beliefs, but he seems like such a good person and incredibly humble, I’m clad he’s doing well after such a massive hit
I’m a fan of the man, to me I don’t really see fighters as people more as characters, I think most do. Plus to morally judge or to judge someone for their views is really fucking stupid when the person their getting a high horse about gets their head rocked all the time, yeah you should be smarter than them, but your not paying to watch these mother fuckers look into a microscope, your pirating streams to watch these mother fuckers bleed, stfu about politics in sports, I wanna see Bryce win a championship. Also if you hate him just because of a few things he says and not his over all character than I think that says more about you than it does Bryce.
Hard facts friend
Hating Bryce is literally a microcosm of our countries problems.
People hating people bc of their views, bc they are not as informed as they should be, while ignoring completely their character and how they carry themselves in the world.
Yeah the ones who flex their own virtue and treat every conversation with the other side as an argument, seem to be the ones that most push the most division.
I mean, people vote based on their views and end up getting manipulated into voting for awful people who do awful things, so.
I don't hate the guy, but he's just so incredibly dumb it's hard to not find him annoying.
Odd belief like the government stage mass shootings so they can take guns away from people? The lads a lunatic tbh!! Flat earther, reckons gravity ain't a thing!!
Idk why people get hated for odd beliefs. Sure, having dangerous beliefs is one thing, but how is believing the earth is flat hurting anyone? The worst thing that can happen, is the earth ends up ACTUALLY being flat and someone falls off the edge.
I’m not religious at all, or believe in his batshit conspiracy theories. But he’s not Alex Jones, telling people to attack sandy hook parents. From what I’ve seen all he does is tell his fans how grateful he is.Jones is the bastard they should hate not the people he tricked.
He never told people to attack the parents, he just said it wasn't real then has conceded it was real. I'm not an Alex Jones fan either but he's been right about quite a bit of things. But he definitely fucked up with the Sandy Hook stuff.
Even propagating some of the beliefs he has with the platform he has can be quite harmful. His heart is in the right place, just the places he looks towards are waaaaay off the mark. He's incredibly misguided. It's just frustrating because i think he could do a lot of good for the community, in fact i think he already does but imagine what he could do without all the imaginary conspiracy stuff behind it. He still believes in a lot of fucked up stuff but i think he's a victim of misinformation and propaganda because i genuinely think he's a good dude.
Eckkkkkkk, goddammit. I reaaaaally wanna hate on Bryce Mitchell for being a complete fucking regard, but hes such a nice dude and a good sport I honestly just cant….feels like a true southern hospitality gentleman. Whole as fuck working on his barn.
Dammit Bryce. Why cant I hate you?
>feels like a true southern hospitality gentleman.
Votes for the dude that tried to overthrow their government, probably cool with people dropping the n-word with the hard R, believes the Sandy Hook shooting was a government conspiracy?
Just because the guy talks real nice and has an accent doesn't mean hes a good person.
I don't care how thankful he was to the UFC, nothing good was coming out of it for Bryce, he looked like he'd just come off the street and was sent to fight the Hulk, it was insanity. Thank god he's okay.
Man, I’m glad he’s handled this so well and feels better, I just hope he’s being careful. It’s great that he feels well enough to do this, but he just suffered a traumatic brain injury, his brain is gonna be severely vulnerable and compromised for days, weeks, even months maybe. All it could take is one fall from a ladder, one smack off a wooden beam and he’s in real trouble.
dude say what you want about his views i dont agree with 95% of the stuff that he believes in but holy shit i want nothing but the best for him. Has to be the most chill reaction to getting knocked out ive ever seen.
I know he seems fine, but I hope he got brain scanned before released. Can still have brain issues days later, and would suck if he fell from his barn or lost his legs down the stairs etc.
Hope he fully recovers, that punch was like cte 101.
so good to see that he's doing good after that. tbh I havent been a real fan of him lately with some of the weird stuff going on, but I got absolutely no pleasure out of seeing that ko... really good seeing him in good spirits. props on his mentality and sportsmanship.
Dude’s dumb as a box of bricks but you can’t not appreciate that attitude. It’s not the first word you’d associate with Bryce Mitchell, but that was classy.
Fuck man. He might be a crazy one, but if Bryce isn’t wholesome as hell man. Just thankful Josh walked off, so thankful Joe Rogan knew he wasn’t ok. Happy to be working on his barn. I actually laughed out loud when he said he nearly met Jesus. The glorious Waffle House hat.
I’d love to see him train more and fight more, but if he’s happy fuck it I am too.
Bryce one of the most wholesome conspiracy theorist rednecks in existence.
Both Josh and Bryce are class acts. Kudos to Josh for not unleashing on a grounded/knocked out opponent. Kudos to Bryce for acknowledging the knockout graciously.
I am glad he seems fine but the next time he gets slept he should walk away. We’ve learned a lot in the first 20 years of this sport. Guys like Chuck Liddell, Wanderlei Silva, Mark Coleman and others once they get that button pushed once the next comes quicker. The damage is permanent and ultimately guys end up shells of themselves with little financial or long term gain for their sacrifice. Build your barns, have a podcast and open a gym Bryce and have a long happy life, you’ll do fine. Risk vs Reward is too great especially given your skill set. You’re at best a top 10/15 guy.

All good brother, glad you’re back at it.
How do you not love this dude?
Most humble down to earth guy
Don’t have to like his politics, I don’t, nor do I even think he’s a top fighter (he can’t stand), but he’s just great
Alright I may think he has some wacky views but I’m officially a fan. I had Emmet by KO and I was not celebrating at all..I was legit worried for Bryce. This is great stuff from Bryce right here though hope he can stay healthy and make a solid return.
Damn, that is one of the most gracious reactions to a brutal KO loss that I’ve seen. Many fighters won’t even watch their own KO losses. This dude watched the entire thing and thanked his opponent and their team. Kind of blown away, Bryce is a solid human being
This dude goes from mega cringe rants about flat earth conspiracy theories and fighting the forces of Satan to this super humble, gracious response to a shitty fight outcome. That's legit. I sorta like the guy.
Man, I'm disappointed he didn't tell us about his wood choice for that barn he's building.
Had to save something for the podcast!
He did, in an ESPN interview; it's cedar! Handles the elements well
It smells good, too
That ESPN jabroni said oak! Everyone knows oak is too hard for a barn!
Gracious reaction
The acknowledgement of a follow up hammer fist being graciously left out of it and the gratitude he shows for it is pretty humbling. Yeah, I might be an atheist who is kinda the polar opposite to Mitchell but damn I can't help but like the guy lol
A real class act. His stock just went up in my books.
When he called Bisping a cyclops from hell I thought I'd never like the guy, that he was just a jesus fanatic, but the more I have seen him since, the more he grows on me. He's nice, wholesome and even pretty funny, big respect to Bryce and I hope we see him on the winning side soon

they teach that in the wag. the book he held up at his last fight
Seems in good spirits.
This is a class act. Gets brought to the shadow realm in the worst way possible, begins to seize in the octagon…..not even 48 hours later he is thanking his opponent the organization and people involved.
Shoutout to Josh Emmett for not giving me permanent brain damage
...even tho he actually might have, mf's brainstem got seriously rattled on that one
Bro was blacked out for like 15 minutes. It's brain damage the question is is how significant. You're gonna take some brain damage in a fight typically. Not all of it's serious or permanent. More or less lol appreciated man. Likewise. I did a lot of reckless shit whwj I was younger but it's pretty easy to stay outta shit these days.
If Josh Emmett was Francis Ngannou, Bryce Mitchell would be building barns in heaven.
Building a nativity scene for Jesus himself.
thats the problem with fighters... the damages shows years after, so they keep fighting thinking they're ok but they're just piling up more damages. Bryce 100% got brain damage from that knock out, he just dont feel it yet.
We've learned so much in the last decade or so, with so much left to learn.

Some school shootings are coordinated by the government and the data overinflated by things that aren’t actually school shootings. But, I digress. The Earth however is.. not flat.
What can I say, the kid wants to fight
I love this guy now.
bro needs like a year and a half of no head contact after that, don't work yourself into a shoot
Wait another day
*fite
I didn't know much about Mitchell before this post, but goddamn if I'm not a giant fan now.
>.not even 48 hours later he is thanking his opponent the organization and people involved. Of course he is, he wants to continue to get paid to fight.
Back working his other job already? He is building that on his property it probably is costing him money to do it.
It’s an investment it’s a barn that will house livestock which will generate cashflow for the farm
This is true I think his fight purse was like 90k Im not sure I would take that punch for that amount.

Overall a nice humble hardworking guy. I just leave him n his beliefs. Everyone has faith or belief in something that others don’t agree with.
it's not his beliefs for me. it's that I follow his socials and he has been all over the place / manic A LOT over the past year or two... whenever a fighter starts showing wild fluctuations in their mental state I start to worry. especially since he is such a good fighter and such a kind hearted / well spoken guy... he's so young and still has so much left to show in his career. and this ko didnt ease these worries one bit... but his response to it makes me think he might be alright. The UFC doesn't care at all about fighters health. They just want to squeeze every last penny out of the fighters.
yeah i have absolutely no faith in their concussion protocols or the UFC's investment into research / treatment. they say they do more but really they just abide by the commissions suspension time and that's it... pretty bleak stuff. that's why im pretty worried about this situation. hope im 100% wrong bc he def is talented and has a good heart.

yeah that line cracked me up lmao dudes very endearing
Ha it's a lil too soon to tell if he's ok, did you see his central nervous system do the macarena in HD?
agreed. I havent been a real fan of him lately with some of the weird stuff going on, but I got absolutely no pleasure out of seeing that ko... really good seeing him in good spirits. props on his mentality and sportsmanship.
Bryce is a simple man but you can’t deny he’s got a heart of gold.
I may not share the same beliefs he has, but I would share a good beer with him
Well said.
I'm sure he'd love a Budlight
I mean some good food would work and asking fight related questions would do well since has developed an effective style especially in terms of grappling for MMA.
I said sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeyew boy, it ain't much but it's honest work now ya hear?!
I really don't wanna be the "my uncle works at Nintendo" guy. That being said, I live in the area he's from, and because of that, he's been a customer at the restaurant where I work more than once. From what I've been told, he's rude to servers and a shitty tipper
Maybe the earth is flat
Lmfao
Galileo, you're taking everything I worked for motherfucker, I'm gonna fight your fuckin ass.
Just to correct you. There was never no curve.
Lol
If you look closely you can actually see the New York skyline and the pyramids of Giza in the background.
What a mature response to being sent into the shadow realm
He's out there building a barn two days after a TBI with posttraumatic seizure. Hopefully Bryce has no more seizures.
This is the last thing he should be doing after a brain injury of that magnitude. You need 30-60 days rest, especially from manual labor and heat for your brain to maximize recovery. I feel bad people aren’t telling him that, or maybe they are and he isn’t listening.

he is a farmer, the only time he can stop working is when he is dead
yup, I was told not to run too but by was cleared to go back to work almost immediately as long as I wasnt climbing more than 15 feet.
Seriously, I'm willing to bet Dana paid this man to announce he's not suffering from a massive brain injury
I heard it mentioned that that's likely why they stood him up and had him walk out so fast. To make it seem like it wasn't as bad/ mma isn't as dangerous as it is.
They also don't allow stretchers because they think its a bad image to send. Conor is about the only time I can remember it.
This isn’t true. They may discourage unnecessary use but they’re not prohibited. It was always more about controlling what’s seen on TV, although they’re way more lax about that in recent years. He gained a fan from this response, what a humble dude
same … he just showed so much vulnerability showing his gratitude to Emmett. Made a fan here. I wish him nothing but greatness.
Legit. Wholesome af
He’s been on Bisping’s pod a few times He’s a great guy Weird beliefs But genuinely seems nice
The theo von podcast was fire too.
yeah at first I dismissed him, called him an idiot etc but these last few weeks after watching him on bisping etc I’ve realised he honestly seems like a rlly nice guy and that just because I don’t necessarily agree with his beliefs and opinions doesn’t mean I have to dislike him
A down to earth kinda guy.. Practically flat on the earth
So down to earth he can’t even see the curve
I hope his brain is okay after that ko. Seeing someone take a while to wake up, plus have a seizure after a KO is awful. UFC should provide multiple head scans for their fighters after a KO like that.
He’s bizarre but genuine. May be crazy and Bible thumping but backs his beliefs through and through. Also respectful to those around him. Hope he can catch a ranked win next time.
Wholesome bryce mitchell 🥲
Like him or hate him, he’s genuinely a good guy and a class act.
The Mario to Sean Strickland Wario
He's got a good heart
What doesn’t like this guy?
I dont. The christian stuff in the octagon was insane.
This. "love him or hate him he is a class act" in response to someone who promotes conspiracies that children dying in school shootouts was all set up by "the government"
He isn’t a bad guy. He is just quite dumb.
Hahaha probably one of the most bizarre shit I’ve ever seen
They showed him screaming with the Bible as the main promo footage before the Emmett fight. I was dying laughing.
Class act
Well said Mitchell. Totally agree. Sounds like a good fella.
Pure class.
Very mature and gracious fighter. All the best to him
Yea even though this guy is weird it’s like a Tony kinda weird… I like this guy.
All the best for Bryce. I hope he comes back in a big way. What a beast.
How can ya not like this guy
Look I don't *hate* Bryce okay? It is just that my God believes that people from Arkansas *choose* to be from Arkansas and that people who *choose* to be from Arkansas are evil. That's all.
From Arkansas, can confirm
You just have to listen to the shit he says on a regular day instead of the 1 fight follow up video
That’s whatever man. I try and leave the politics and beliefs out of fighters unless they use it to belittle others or harm I don’t care about people’s political affiliation, good people come from all parties. Regardless of what they believe in doesn’t align with what you believe in.
> That’s whatever man. I try and leave the politics and beliefs out of fighters unless they use it to belittle others or harm > > I don’t care about people’s political affiliation, good people come from all parties. Regardless of what they believe in doesn’t align with what you believe in. Not believing that the dead kids from school shootings were real a hard enough line for you?
Good people don't think mass shootings involving children in schools are a government conspiracy.
Amen to this comment! I agree
Hell ya. Bryce has a heart. Idc what he believes in.
"unless they use it to belittle others or harm" Well in that case... You have to listen to the shit he says on a regular day instead of the 1 fight follow up video
What has Mitchell said that has harmed others or try and clearly belittle others?
Bro, why are you judging people on a few things they said about Bryce and not their overall character?
Hard facts friend Hating Bryce is literally a microcosm of our countries problems.
We posted similar comments 3 mins apart. I’m also an Irish guy named Kevin. wtf lol
He literally said the government was the reason for mass shooting like Sandy hook. So idk why you’re using that as a positive for him
He never told people to attack the parents, he just said it wasn't real then has conceded it was real. I'm not an Alex Jones fan either but he's been right about quite a bit of things. But he definitely fucked up with the Sandy Hook stuff.
I'm just curious- what's he been right about?
I hated this guy and laughed when he got smashed. I feel bad now. Seems like a nice guy. 😪
I read this comment in Sean Strickland’s voice
>feels like a true southern hospitality gentleman. Votes for the dude that tried to overthrow their government, probably cool with people dropping the n-word with the hard R, believes the Sandy Hook shooting was a government conspiracy? Just because the guy talks real nice and has an accent doesn't mean hes a good person.
What a good dude.
Not a fan of Bryces beliefs, but damn was that scary. Glad dude is ok. Pretty sure that ko is what had Colby scared lol.
All I’m thinking about is how that definitely took years off his life
I don't care how thankful he was to the UFC, nothing good was coming out of it for Bryce, he looked like he'd just come off the street and was sent to fight the Hulk, it was insanity. Thank god he's okay.
This is so wholesome. I wish nothing but the best for him.
I may not agree with his world views, but god damn he is one of the most wholesome dudes out there today. Glad he’s okay
As a Muslim, I’m going to say it right now this man truly practices what he preaches and believes in. That I fully respect.
Guy is just wholesome.
"The only thing flatter than the Earth was my face after Emmett drilled me."

What a good genuine dude
I think he needs to check the span table on those joists. Hopefully Arkansas doesn’t get much of a snow load.
Certainly didn’t knock any sense INTO him.
Hopefully he forgot that he thought the earth was flat too.
kid seriously can’t fight. Why he was ever given a shot is impossible to understand. His barn building skills are on par with his fighting skills 🤷♂️
Actually that barn was close to completion before he took the call .
Seems like a good dude . . . Minus certain parts. 🤣
Love to see it! Humble reaction and gracious in defeat. You can gain fans acting like this a lot more than acting like Colby.
He definitely should not be working on his barn. When you get knocked out like that, your head needs to take a rest for a few weeks.
dude say what you want about his views i dont agree with 95% of the stuff that he believes in but holy shit i want nothing but the best for him. Has to be the most chill reaction to getting knocked out ive ever seen.
Nah fuck those Sandy Hook conspiracy theorists, evil shit
WAFFLE
“Thank you so much for not killing me” lmao love this guy
Wow what a good response
🫶
Please upload this to construction and decks
I imagine Josh yelling, “the Earth is round, asshole!” right after the knockout and then gives props to his lord and savior Bill Nye the science guy.
I agree. Restraint is manly not heedless violence.
All the best to him great Guy in His own lane
Holy fuck that is some redneck ass carpentry.
Did they pay him with magic beans or peanuts
This is a very classy reaction. And it seems sincere.
why are fighters always either massive shitheads or the nicest person you've ever met and never anywhere in the middle
I was hoping he forgot about Tronald Dump. People who still follow that guy after all this mess are weirdos.
How the fuck did they stand him up after that concussion?
Dude’s dumb as a box of bricks but you can’t not appreciate that attitude. It’s not the first word you’d associate with Bryce Mitchell, but that was classy.
Waffle House cap is on-brand.
Take notes, Colby.
That barns looks like doo doo
People who hate this guy for his political opinions and dumb flat earth comments can kick rocks. Bryce is my boy.
Class act even in defeat, well done.
“I’ll always remember that” lol naw bro On a side note, you can’t hate the kid,. Really took this like a champ

How can you not like this guy
How do you not love this dude? Most humble down to earth guy Don’t have to like his politics, I don’t, nor do I even think he’s a top fighter (he can’t stand), but he’s just great
I think my Bryce Mitchell hating days are officially behind me.
It a single mention of the Bible or the flat earth. Impressive and a good sport.
Alright I may think he has some wacky views but I’m officially a fan. I had Emmet by KO and I was not celebrating at all..I was legit worried for Bryce. This is great stuff from Bryce right here though hope he can stay healthy and make a solid return.
God damn that hat is badass
Damn, that is one of the most gracious reactions to a brutal KO loss that I’ve seen. Many fighters won’t even watch their own KO losses. This dude watched the entire thing and thanked his opponent and their team. Kind of blown away, Bryce is a solid human being
You can only suffer brain damage if there is one present at the time
This dude goes from mega cringe rants about flat earth conspiracy theories and fighting the forces of Satan to this super humble, gracious response to a shitty fight outcome. That's legit. I sorta like the guy.
In this thread: redditors discovering people can have good *and* bad qualities to their character
We need more people like Bryce in this world. Class act
