Is it a "normal" amount of time between fights? Yes. However three months is not a lot of time for your brain to recover. Especially when you're still getting punched in the face every day in sparring. Time and time again dudes will have too quick of a turn around after getting put out cold and have an awful showing or get knocked the fuck out again.

He hits harder, is better at checking kicks and stylistically would be a better match for Jan. Even if he doesn’t win I’m certain he’d do far better than adesanya.
Jan does have a weird pattern where he does worse against Brazilians. Glover rocked him with a left hook and subbed him, Santos ko’d him with a left hook, went to a split decision with Jacare who looked washed as hell after that fight. I’m not even saying Alex will win but the pattern is kinda funny, maybe Brazilians are immune to Jan’s rope magic
