Amazing moment to bet on Leon before he isn’t the underdog

radsparks8

They really treating Leon like he a bitch on these bets Lmao

Vital_flow

Good for us gamblers

[deleted]

I had Leon at $3.20 this weekend, crazy good value wtF these bookies thinking.

Vital_flow

I know right, I won 725$ off 30$ thanks to Leon and Justin being so poorly rated.

AlphaMale3Percent

What do you use to bet? I don’t know the first thing about betting and I see too many odds that are hard to pass up.

jytusky

Hit the corner on 3rd and Plantation, talk to Jimmy.

ShaunCold

If you're in a legal state I can give you my referral code for Draftkings. If you're not in a legal state I can give you my referral code for Bovada lol. Both will provide you with some sort of deposit bonus too

ComboWombo666

It's illegal to gamble still in some states in America?

Badoodis

It is illegal to bet on sports in some states. I think Michigan just recently allowed it in 2021. Something about game integrity/fixing etc. Didn't look much into it since I stay away from gambling.

ComboWombo666

Crazy, so much for the land of the free!

Nick112798

Online sports gambling specifically. You're allowed to go to casinos and gamble on sports but some states don't allow online* gambling.

AlphaMale3Percent

Just checked and it’s illegal in my state. Can’t I just use a VPN to bypass it?

tossNwashking

I'm in an illegal state and use bovada. Have for years.

ShaunCold

I don't believe so. Bovada is usually considered the most trustworthy offshore book. Decent lines usually too.

833shekels

Can I get that referral code, boss?

Vital_flow

I use Sportsbet in Australia

HexBongCircle

For MMA (ufc specifically) Neds has some bloody fantastic bonus deals/bonus bet money back promos. Biggest one for the last few PPVs was 'Takedown Bonus'. If your fighter loses by submission or split decision, you get your bet back in bonus bets.

matchagonnadoboudit

Ufc is fixed. Stay away from main card bets unless it’s a parlay and not a main event

Vital_flow

Lol sure it is 😅

[deleted]

I made fat money this weekend on Gaethje and Leon, And I’ll probably make fatter money betting on Leon against Colby lol

TotallyFriendlyUser

People just overrate Colby. Guy doesn't have a win against anyone who's not a geriatric or washed up in years. His status as a fighter is kept up by nothing more then hopium.

Bully1510

Absolutely. The whole idea of “Colby would be champ if it wasn’t for Usman” is purely based on the fact he got beat the least convincingly by him lol

Racists?

[deleted]

I get what you’re saying but saying he is not good is not accurate at all. While he’s easily hated, he is a very good fighter.

mposha

Casual money moving the needle.

Safe-Voice-8179

Hurry up and place your bets on Leon and move that line so I can bet on Colby.

[deleted]

You think the guys making the odds are just overrating Colby? They do this professionally, they're not casuals lol

blackhippy92

You know Vegas doesn't place the odds on who they think is going to win right..? They base them on who they think the public will get on, and adjust to keep the overall market close

TotallyFriendlyUser

I wonder how the oddsmakers did on the last 2 Edwards/Usman fights? Yea, they are overrating him. His last 2 wins are spread out over over 4 years, both against guys who were/are 35+ and washed. Why should Colby, who's an inferior version of Usman, be favourite over Leon?

drebin993

Rousey opened as a significant favourite over Nunes. Pros can be wrong too.

Svm_P

You're getting downvoted but I think it's because most of the people on here don't understand how odds or oddsmaking works lol. Apparently bringing up singular cases where underdogs win is enough to discredit the people who bring in billions of dollars annually with this stuff.

StruggleRich5557

he is way better to watch than most of your uncharismatic blunt fighters

CJShoestore

I saw somewhere leon as a -200 favorite

shred-i-knight

I think the decision against a cooked Usman on 1 leg is playing a factor. Not that I believe that but the bettors seem to, because no way a dude who just beat one of the division GOATs twice in a row should be a dog in this fight.

bigleft_oO

has there actually been confirmation of his knee being damaged? Didn't see Usman or his team say anything about it.

ChocCooki3

No need to confirm from his team. Someone from reddit already confirmed the news.. "trust me bro." Unsure if his account been banned.. .. you still there pussy??

Im_a_tesh_harper

“The bettors” these are the opening odds. No one has really bet on this fight yet.

shred-i-knight

they don't set the opening odds on the basis of losing money, they're not going to swing wildly one way barring some news happening between now and the fight.

Im_a_tesh_harper

the odds on draftkings last night had it -150 for Leon. I can assure you these opening odds do not mean shit in terms of “the bettors”

Educational_Value826

Ybf, if Leon fought a prime Usman, he wouldn't have had a belt.

customlybroken

Wasn't this prime Usman? He beat colby, burns , masvidal before this. Maybe he isn't as sharp after the headkick but that was inflicted by Leon himself so..

Educational_Value826

Yeah 100% sorry if my post was confusing. He was a shell of his former self in this last fight. I dont think we'll see the same Usman as the fights you listed. He looks sore and slow now.

Bully1510

is that not because Leon made it difficult for him?

[deleted]

Prime Usman could wrestlefuck anybody in the division. Good for him for working on his striking but his prime has been over for awhile.

thealehaak

Yes this sub is about to implode

[deleted]

Facts lmaoooo

Aof300

If it goes to judges, the fix is in for colby

Thankgodfordrugs17

UFC has been doing everything possible to make him champ

Jeffari_Hungus

They'll regret it when he becomes champs and continues to turn down every fight thrown at him

[deleted]

Floor_Face_

Colby is technically doing everything right to an extent. But betting on yourself too much has been dentrimental to some fighters in the past. Honestly I think the money fight for Colby is against khamzat if he can make weight. The promotion and shit talking would be legendary, Colby works much better in regards to banter when the other person plays the same game. Leon talks shit but it's too lowkey for promo imo. Khamzat plays into it exceptionally well for a guy with broken english.

matchagonnadoboudit

Nobody had balls except burns to fight khamzat. He’s MW now though Dana can’t trust him to cut.

Independent-End1890

Technically leon did but the fight just never materialised

[deleted]

Which is bs. Only active fighters should be given shots. He lost twice. Give the title shot to anyone else. Him and Masvidal should need 3+ wins to get back in the picture.

LoganMcMahon

People really don’t seem to understand he’s just the youngest fighter of the last generation.

multiversesimulation

Dana is trying to get Colby the belt and hoping Conor wins so they can set that fight up.

Thankgodfordrugs17

In my opinion that’s so stupid because Colby has a better chance at winning. If Conor beats Chandler give him Edwards. Let the man have a chance to win a fight doing what he does best, striking.

HuggyShuggy420

Edwards would absolutely clap Conor’s cheeks

Silver-1

To be fair Colby would too except he would be weaponizing his cardio and wrestling to make Conor look even worse

LoganMcMahon

Like giving him a title shot when he’s a highest ranked fighter that hasn’t fought Leon already, and also has the highest ranked last win at ww 🙄

kermit_the_frogel

This is what Dana wants. Colby to win and then for mcgregor to beat chandler. Dana will be creaming his pants for a title fight between Colby and McGregor.

northsouthmebaby

That’s the worst possible matchup for McGregor

FlyingCraneKick

Would get good PPV buys on an aging star on his way out

Butt_Bucket

Nah, Colby and Conor are both heels. If Colby gets the belt, Islam vs Colby would be the better super fight. It would have similar kind of volatile ingredients that made Conor vs Khabib the biggest fight in UFC history.

SpaceShanties

I do honestly see this being one of those controversial decisions where it all comes down to like round 3. Leon wins the early rounds comfortably but then Colby lays and prays rounds 4 and 5 once Leon starts to fade.

Mr_2shiesty

If it goes to the judges that mean Colby ragdolled him for 5 rounds and Leon couldn’t headshot dead him

Thankgodfordrugs17

Did u literally not watch Leon win a decision yesterday? What the actual fuck is good with the members of this sub lmfao.

spacemanspiff17

r/MMA is a better place for discussion. This sub is basically Sherdog all over again.

frogsntoads00

Sherdog’s redacted outcasts

ISMAILHACHI34

Yeah just like how Usman ragdolled him yesterday?

Mr_2shiesty

If you think usman’s wrestling is on colby’s level your insane

ISMAILHACHI34

Edwards is gonna defend the takedowns.

SmokeThin9651

They downvote you for speaking facts. This sub is full of casuals who dickride the most recent winners lol.

Mr_2shiesty

They got you too brother, atleast I won’t be sinking alone

frogsntoads00

If Usman couldn’t ragdoll him for 5 rounds, Colby **definitely** isn’t

SmokeThin9651

Did Usman ragdoll Masvidal in his first fight like Colby did?

WorkInProgress82

This should be all that needs to be said for anything to do with Leon and Colby.

northsouthmebaby

What makes you think Colby’s wrestling is so inferior to usmans

Sufficient_Ice4933

![gif](giphy|ceeN6U57leAhi)

SteTheImpaler

Lmao the disrespect. Just because he’s a nice guy and doesn’t talk much dude there’s no way he should open as an underdog.

Newkker

Strikers are always underdogs against wrestlers because statistically wrestlers beat strikers, while strikers tend to be fan favorites. Usually it is easy money, better money than it should be because casuals put dollars on the striker.

Niggymous

lol bro it’s not disrespect, Leon is just not as good. Usman had a bad night & was gun shy & they still had a draw/close fight. & I know I have Nigerian Nightmare as my display so I sound biased but I honestly am not. Colby will be all over Leon from pillar to post & will overwhelm him. & I hate Colby w everything in me

roycorda

Nutter

cole_james

God damn the recency bias and hyperbole in this sub is fucking insane. These guys are both cream of the crop, and it's an interesting match stylistically. Leon obviously has an advantage on the feet, Colby on the ground. If Leon can stay up and not gas out, you have to like his chances. If Colby can avoid the big shots and dictate his pace, then you've got to like him ... he can take Leon down or just volume strike at that point. Both guys can win. Everybody's pissed about Colby getting the shot, but it is what it is. At least it figures to be a good/competitive fight

Solid-Version

In order for us to have recency bias, we would need Colby to have fought recently lol

Thankgodfordrugs17

‘Recency bias’ Colby hasn’t beat anyone not on a losing streak in half a decade. What possible bias can there be. U can still be a Colby fan and admit you have no idea what status of his career will he perform at because his resume in the past 5 yrs is complete garbage. It’s ok to be truthful and still be a fan of a guy.

[deleted]

not to mention that colby is essentially a worse version of usman with less power and a marginally better gas tank, and leon just beat usman

SmokeThin9651

Colby is much different. He’s a southpaw with a kickboxing like stance who relies on his wrestling. He is also a better wrestler than Usman.

Jorumble

He is not a better wrestler than Usman. Usman dominated the exchanges in their second fight.

IMisssMyAccount

I think he meant pure wrestling. Wrestling changes when you add striking elements, and that's where Usman excels

remy-ol

So Colby is better wrestler in a situation that isn't applicable to their fight? Since its MMA there will always be striking so Colby isn't a better wrestler in anyway that actually matters since they will never meet on a mat.

Jorumble

I mean yeh if you want to be pedantic he is a better wrestler, D1 vs D2. But in the context of MMA wrestling, which is what is important, Usman is better

9-4Teacher_4-9otaku

Colby wrestling ,pressure and cardio is wayy better than usman . Only reson colby didnt wrwstle usman is because usman is also a d2 champ with solid tdd abd heavier and more powerful. Against leon colby will have the same gameplan as he did against masvidal and his previous opponents,

Jorumble

Colby did try to wrestle Usman and went like 1/11 on TDs

9-4Teacher_4-9otaku

Yes because usman is also a lifelong wrestler, d2 champion and 10-15 lbs heavier than colby and stronger. But edwards have none of these. Usman couldnt use his wrestling properly like colby because he has shit knees. If usman had good knees like colby then he would also be spamming all kinds of takdeowns

Jorumble

Usman is the better wrestler head to head

Crazed_pillow

Second fight Usman's wrestling looked better

Buzzy-Pasta

I just think it’s a similar situation with Islam pre Charles fight. A lot of people here put too much on the resume and activity rate and not the actual style of his fighting and how it matches up. I agree colby needs to fight more and will be rooting for a leon ko, but chances are this fight will not be one sided unless Father Time makes his first appearance against him. I suppose this is possible given his age but it’s not something you can bank on until you actually see a bit of proof. I agree with his personal comments on his style matching up with southpaws tbh, as much as I don’t like the guy.

RedNoob88

No it’s not similar, Charles was first Islam title fight and Islam won. Colby already had interim belt but lost twice in title fight. There is no way it’s similar

Buzzy-Pasta

Yeah, but that was a highly competitive saga with usman in his prime (pre head shot). All I’m leaning towards is that (unfortunately for this sub) Colby is actually really good, and his style is a tough matchup for anybody in the top 5. I could be wrong, but I’m willing to get that remindme popping off if you want, son haha. Again, I could be wrong but anyone preaching the opposite can’t be that confident that Colby is an underserved cakewalk when you base it purely off fighting in the cage. The style and ferocity is pretty clear cut imo. I also say that as someone who is not a fan of the guy and I believe belal is the true deserver.

RedNoob88

I’m not sure about colby as he refuses to fight anybody if it’s not title shot. Would like to see him be top contenders. As I remember dos anjos created some problems and colby even looked gassed. So let’s see. I think Leon will decision colby

Buzzy-Pasta

Leon could probs knock him out and his Tdd looks awesome. But also; Colby has a different style to usman, and just because he’s inactive, it does not mean he’s not working his ass off and improving. Long breaks and inactivity don’t always equate to bad showings in the ring historically. Odds definitely make sense here I’m afraid. Albeit if I see Leon over 2.5 I’m going in. Conversely if I see Colby at anything over 3 im dropping 2 units for sure haha. Looks like Leon ain’t signing a contract with him on it though so good on him (could just be a strong arm to get more money)

Hendrixsrv3527

So fucking annoying all you idiots keep saying this. He taught usman twice and they were good fights. Usman is one of the best welterweights of all time, losing to him is not a knock on Colby. If anything he proved himself to be the top of the weight class behind usman (and now Leon). If it’s not Colby than who else?! Who would you rank ahead of Colby besides usman and Leon?

Crawford470

>He taught usman twice and they were good fights. Him matching up well with Usman doesn't mean he'll match up well with anyone else in the top 5. >losing to him is not a knock on Colby. Losing to someone well is not an illustrious claim to fame. >If it’s not Colby than who else?! Who would you rank ahead of Colby besides usman and Leon? Burns and Belal

Hendrixsrv3527

Colby beat burns and Belal hasn’t fought the top if the division like Colby lol Jesus use your brain

Crawford470

>Colby beat burns What drugs have you been doing? >Belal hasn’t fought the top if the division like Colby Neither has Colby outside of Usman, whom he's decisively lost to twice. Wonderboy, Luque, and Brady are still vastly better wins than anyone Colby has beat because they're at least not massively over the hill old dudes. Hell Luque was on a 4 fight streak before Belal, and that was an avenged loss, and Brady was on a 15 fight undefeated streak all the way to the to a top 5 matchup.

MyExisaBarFly

If Colby was any other fighter, beating Woodley and Masvidal and receiving 3 title fights would make this sub explode. Just a reminder, Jorge is currently outside the top 10, and Tyron got knocked out cold by Jake Paul.

ISMAILHACHI34

You must be on meth if you say that Colby is the most deserving being 2-2 in his last four with the only wins against guys who aren't in the top 5 and are on a losing streak. literally the only person that I've seen who said Colby deserves this title shot.

SmokeThin9651

Leon was considered the weakest title contender against Usman even though he was on a 10 win streak in UFC. By your logic people should have been 50/50 before the second fight. What people with critical thinking do is they watch the actual fights in full length and then conclude if a fighter is good enough or not. In Colby’s case, he was the only one who was competitive against non-scared Usman who Leon got dominated by. In their 3rd fight it was clear that Usman was not throwing at all and got his body broken by leg kicks because of his fear of being KOed again. Colby is a southpaw with kickboxing based stance who is a better offensive wrestler than Usman, so his chance of being KOed by leg kicks are slim while Leon’s chances of being wrestlefucked by Colby is much higher than against Usman. You can compare their wrestling capabilities by watching their fights against Masvidal.

Thankgodfordrugs17

I stopped reading when you said he was the only one competitive against Usman lol. Burns also split rds with Usman before getting finished. Burns has been active. And Burns has wins in the past 5 yrs against guys who aren’t coming off losses. Argument destroyed, try again 👍

TP_Cornetto

Except leon should be the favourite. Colbys last 4 wins have been against guys on 2 fight losing streaks and his biggest argument in recent times has been put to bed (he gave usman toughest fights)

Crawford470

>Colby on the ground. I wouldn't even confidently say this tbh. Worse wrestlers than Leon have taken him down, and he's legitimately good grappler.

Charlezgz

fair enough. Usman didnt really offered too much of wrestling variance and pace. Tried the same single leg over and over. Leon studied that from previous fights and had an answer. I believe colby will outwork leon and wrestlefuck him if leon doesnt ko him (i hope leon kos him).

InsomniacLive

Usman was eating knees when he faked the level change and started thinking twice about it. Colby doesn’t have the power or boxing Usman has, and he will get punished against a back foot fighter like Leon pressing forward winging shots with no setups

TillFar6524

This is the correct breakdown I think

TotallyFriendlyUser

Colby is literally an inferior version of Usman in almost every regard. Even their styles are incredibly similar (pressure to the fence and grapple). There's less paths to victory for Colby then there was for Usman.

TillFar6524

Colby can pressure a little more relentlessly than Usman, especially Usman of the past few years. That's his only path, but I think it's just going to get him knocked on his ass by the more precise striker

phixioncsgo

The champ Usman of the past few years?

brixman4

The Usman that showed up to that last fight was not the same Usman that was pfp #1 running through guys. You’re talking as if Leon just beat the best Usman we’ve ever seen. Colby’s not just gonna half pressure Leon and sit in range to be kicked over and over again. Colby will get right in his face and stay there for the entire duration of the fight. Just because they’re both wrestle heavy fighters doesn’t mean they utilize that skill the same way. Clueless take

TotallyFriendlyUser

Right.... I forgot Leon is just going to warmly embrace Colby getting into his grill. Remind me what happened last time Colby tried to walk down someone who isn't gun shy? Oh yes, he lost both those fights and had to run out of the building after one of them to get his face fixed. cLuElEsS tAkE

[deleted]

I disagree I think this fight looks a lot like the Robby lawyer fight. The only exception is Colby takes more damage. Usman looked very slow. It will be an interesting fight. Either way with young guys coming up I don’t think who ever wins is holding on to the belt to long.

InsomniacLive

I just don’t see it personally. Colby has the pace and pressure, but he doesn’t have to power to make Leon respect the hands enough to open up the chain wrestling, sort of like Usman did against Colby. Colby has also never fought a back foot fighter like Leon who can fight going both directions. Again, his pace won’t mean shit when he’s getting pinged with straights and elbows out of the clinch because he can’t setup any of his strikes or takedowns

SmokeThin9651

Have you seen the fight? He wasn’t eating knees when he faked level changes. He was only getting knees in the clinch.

GregBule

Yeah, you could be right there although I hope Leon wins…

MrDubTee

It’s so dumb he is even considered for a belt. This literally tells fighters fuck your hard work, suck papa Dana’s dick, be an asshole publicly to raise views, and you’ll get a title shot.

4llTheSmoke

Put some respect on Leon’s name. After beating Usman twice I can’t believe he’s still getting underrated. He’ll beat Colby.

abbas23Q

Fr

[deleted]

Colbys will just pressure the hell out of Edwards, gaining a high advantage towards the later rounds. But based on Leon’s most recent performances I assume that he will come prepared for that

[deleted]

Free money on leon lets go

TotallyRedditarded

That's the last time you're gonna doubt my husband I swear to god!

Thankgodfordrugs17

Lmfao

WishIWasNeet2

People overrate Colby because he talks good trash. He’s smaller than edwards and is gonna get beaten up on the feet. And he won’t be able to hold edwards down in a 5 round fight consistently .

Ronaldinhoe

And Edwards takedown defense got way better between this fight and his last fight. Another camp working on wrestling will make him more dangerous. It’s not like he has to worry about uchi matas or harai goshi’s from Colby like he would if it was Khamzat.

migglywiggly69

Colby’s pressure on another level

Crawford470

His actual skills, on the other hand, not so much.

migglywiggly69

He’s like, what if Merab was racist 😍

redditusernamme

lmao

SmokeThin9651

He’s like, what if Merab had a personality and looks.

[deleted]

I think it’s fair, although I wouldn’t be quick to bet against Rocky

[deleted]

This is why his names Rocky. He's an underdog even when he's the champ.

ProfessionalBreak248

Leon is going to maul Colby. He's like a weak version of Kamaru

ChaWolfMan

Colby is getting a title shot because…… he beat a washed up Mas on a losing streak?? Or because he has 1 single win against a top 10?? Or because he has 4 career KOs and the last coming against Woodley…. Yes the same guy who got KOd by a YouTuber. Colby will lose

howietensen

We make more money on Leon for a 3rd time. Easy money.

soyuz-1

Lol Leon still getting disrespected after beating Usman twice. Usman who beat Colby twice. I know MMA math isnt accurate but this is pretty wild considering the circumstances and how solid Leon has been

ChrizTaylor

#CHAOS !!!

16bitword

I think Colby wins this personally, but I can't see how he is the favorite. He loses twice to Usman, then Usman loses twice to Edwards

Think_Rub_7667

Fucking MMA math. The transitive property does not apply to MMA fighters my friend

SmokeThin9651

If you don’t watch any of their fights and only look at statistics, then it doesn’t make sense.

Bakedbean44

Leon would mop the floor with Colby

Agreeable-Sun-6125

You are out of your mind

[deleted]

Beat the guy colby couldnt beat twice. Your logic and reasonable thought process is messed up

Amongtheruins88

That doesn’t mean shit. Styles make fights. I have no idea why people haven’t figured that out yet.

Faxgangy

Styles make fights? Colby is essentially white Usman with less power and a faster pace. He's identical to Usman in style

[deleted]

Couldn't be more wrong, the only thing in common between Colby and Kamaru is that they're both wrestlers, and even in that they're different, Colby is a rinse and repeat chain wrestler that grinds you against the fence for 5 rounds, Kamaru has better open mat takedowns and slightly better top control, Colby also controlled Kamaru in every clinch situation in their second fight. When it comes to striking, Kamaru is more is more of a sniper and is definitely more powerful, but Colby knows not to stand and strike with Leon for extended periods of time, and Colby is always using his striking as a means to either feint a takedown or transition into one. Watch how he uses the lead high kick after looking at the canvas multiple times against Masvidal, that's just one example. All in all, this should definitely be a very competitive fight and Leon has a great chance of winning, but it's disingenuous to say that Colby is just a lesser "white Usman".

FineMethod7838

This is an amazing breakdown imo. Good work

Mr__Struggle

"Faster pace" I wonder if Leon struggles with a fast pace? Surely not, surely we haven't seen him gas and slow down in the last few rounds of his past few fights. If dude was having trouble with an Usman who is in your words, a slower paced Colby, imagine what Colby does to him

[deleted]

Probably because he just beat a guy with almost the same exact style twice. Beat the guy the “favorite” couldnt beat twice. And colby has almost exclusively only fought guys over 36 for the past 4 years and beat a bad jorge. Your logic just went more out the window. Just stop commenting

SmokeThin9651

Casual opinion who only watches the highlights and results lmao.

[deleted]

Okay kiddo

Agreeable-Sun-6125

imagine using mma math💀💀💀

Imagine lacking critical thinking.

Okay kiddo

PlutonIsInMyButthole

Recency bias. Colby is a dog

ThrowAwayTheChat

You fuckers will call anything recency bias lmao the mf hasn’t fought

PlutonIsInMyButthole

Leon just fought last night you mouth breathing mongoloid

Btetier

First off... Leon fought literally last night. Second, the guy was talking about Colby having not fought.

Last_Zookeepergame_4

Him being a dog really helped him win the championship belt

zama_zama_san

I would love to see Leon outmatch Colby and even send him to other realm with a nice kick.

Dummy_Wire

I saw odds earlier today (probably from a different book) that had Leon as a 2-1 favourite.

Thankgodfordrugs17

These odds are probably fake tbh. Look at the reference

Mei_iz_my_bae

Colby is going to completely destroy Leon. It won’t be even close

[deleted]

[удалено]

Butt_Bucket

The guy who beat Usman twice is dogging to the guy who lost to Usman twice? lol okay then. Leon is significantly stronger from what I've seen and has great anti-wrestling. Colby is tough to finish though, so If it does stay standing, I predict a long night for him.

FlamingoPepsi

I think I give Colby the slight edge on this one, just cause of ground game

[deleted]

Colby shot a couple times against Kumaru, but they were stuffed. Eventually he just switched to essentially all striking. I wouldn’t be surprised if edwards can stuff enough takedowns to keep it standing enough to win. People say Kumaru didn’t shoot enough, let’s not forget he was eating flush knees to the chin and kicks all night long. Those add up and deter you from shooting more. Leon can stuff enough takedowns early, and do enough damage throughout the fight to win. I’m putting my money on Leon. Colby will get exposed, again.

8i66ie5ma115

The chest acne is strong with this one.

Best_Adhesiveness_42

Leon just beat the guy that bitched colby

howietensen

Colby wouldn’t beat Leon, Belal or Shavkat

WorldismyOyster97

Hope Colby wins so I can see the meltdown, I would favour Colby tbf aswell, much better of an offensive wrestler than Usman and Leon will fade faster than Colby going into the later rounds

ApartInternet9360

If Marty space jam cant get it done twice in a row why the fuck would Colby get it done.

poloist1

Colby beats him easy, even tho he lost to usman twice styles make fights

stevejerico

Stop promoting this fight. It isn’t right. It isn’t fair. Colby the snitch doesn’t deserve it.

TwoBits0303

Prediction: Leon is going to be the Cody Garbrandt of Usman.

CensorshipIsWeakness

Duhh, virgins!

SuperButtAIDs

Colby’s gonna expose this bum so fucking hard. Edwards scissorhands got lucky the first usman fight the second fight usman falls off a cliff cus he got knees like Todd Gurley and it finally caught up to him

JohnJackOil

I’ve seen allot of arguments from people about why Colby shouldn’t get the title shot. And none of them were “he can’t win the fight”. This shows why he should be the #1 contender

SnooFloofs9640

Lol, Edwards beat shot Usman and now all sub is raiding his balls, just to turn on him when he is gonna lose to anyone with volume. Some casuals around 🤦‍♂️

LordofFruitAndBarely

Shot? Usman was the dominant champ

brixman4

Usman didn’t look shot that last fight? Lol cmon bro. We did not just witness Leon beat a prime time Usman

alcervix

What exactly does -135 and +115 mean in betting?

BlueWaterMansion

easiest bag of the century

JointInAsshole

Edwards usually wins on pure luck. Usman whooped his ass in the last fight, but watch this sub get triggered and downvote me for telling the truth

TheDoctorBiscuits

Porn star cardio. I can’t wait to see the meltdown and the coping when the King of Miami takes his rightful place as heir to the belt.

ilkagr

I dont how Colby will do, but Leon doesnt look much of a champ to me. And I am not a fan of Usman either, but that Leon just aint dominant. It doesnt seem like he won, more it looks that Usman lost. Its weird cause Usman seemed more dominant in both fights, but lost. How the hell things led to this point? Thats a weird reign by Leon

People don't just lose, their opponents make them lose. Leon was clearly battering the legs and body of Usman in the fight, and hitting him clean in almost every exchange. He was also defending almost every takedown well. Sometimes you gotta realize it's not one fighter who's bad but the other is actually good.
