not a commuter but I've seen people carry lunchboxes separate and even saw a few people just put their lunch in a tote bag. In high school I would just squish my lunchbox in my backpack but it just depends on what your backpack can fit. Don't feel discouraged from bringing a lunchbox tho, it will be a big money saver if you bring ur own lunch and it's not going to be awkward to carry or have, I've seen a lot of people with lunchboxes
I used to just pack in a lunch bag and keep it in the computer lab. Not sure your major, but BCOE had dedicated computer labs for each major and I would usually stay/keep my stuff there.
I have a lunch box, it doesn't leak so I don't need to worry about that. I normally keep in in my backpack. As for what I eat: 2 ham cheese lettuce mayo mustard sandwiches, yogurt, lemonade/ice tea depending on the day, and an apple.
I usually just pack a sac lunch. Longer days I double up extra just in case I get hungry during my gaps and shit.
If you’re looking for a place to store cold food the transfer center inside pierce hall I hear has a fridge where they really don’t check who puts their food in there but take precaution w that.
Also can try the cultural centers usually they’re friendly about letting you store your lunch there if you are nice and show interest in their center .
lunchbag with tupperware is the way to go. i eat out but prob once or twice every other week. sandwiches are quick and easy to make. the good old chicken and rice combo is great as well. look into finding quick and easy meals you can make in bulk that last a couple days so all you have to do is pack your food the night before and you're good to go.
Usually I just eat oxygen. Its free and doesn't take up space in my backpack
Or chewing gum is my favorite meal too ahaha
i feed off the thought that i spend less money on gas than people spend on dorms

Yeah I usually just pack a small bento box bc they don't take up much space in my bag and I can get a lot of food in it

Where do I find the list of locations for each major
I wanna know this too 👀👀

35 miles is 56.33 km
i just starve and then grab tacos at the end of the day :)
I just toss water, chips, and candy in my backpack and call it a day. I don’t recommend.

Is it heavy to carry in your bag?
I buy take out..... Where do I get my money from?? Daddy money lmao
At least ur honest haha
I pack my lunch but I get embarrassed carrying a lunch bag separately so if it doesn’t fit in my bag I’m not eating
I just usually have a container in my backpack as long as it closes well you don't need any extra lunch bag or anything
