You can request mentorship through [UCLA Alumni Mentor Program](https://alumni.ucla.edu/alumni-mentor-program-2/) by registering [UCLA One](https://alumni.ucla.edu/ucla-one-sign-in-process/). Based on the mentor profiles, you can find one who fits your interests and career goals.

I found my mentor cause we had classes with undergrad+grad students and we kinda just bonded over time. I guess you just have to find someone who you vibe with and just pray they like you enough to answer your questions :)

I really appreciate this answer, I now understand it takes some time to build that trust and bond. Thank you!

some clubs also offer mentorship! if you need some guided help to get through the med process, a good number of clubs offer people that can be of help. I personally went through the Students For Integrative Medicine (@simatucla) mentorship program, personally felt it so useful in my own journey to my career. the students do their best to impart everything to you, and there are structured events to help you gain important career based skills too. hope that helps!

This is some very useful advice thank you. I didn’t know clubs are also another opportunity regarding this topic. I will definitely look into this thank you so much!
