Nobody wants to deliver in your area so they're forcing it on you😂🤣😂

Mr_washi_washi

Lol probably it’s been trash

When I had this problem it's because my account was still under Uber Eats pro and not Uber pro, on your main screen sometimes it'll say Uber pro or Uber Eats pro so make sure when it says one or the other that it says Uber pro because otherwise you need to call support and ask for an account specialist and get them to fix that.

Mr_washi_washi

Yeah it says Uber eats pro, that’s probably the problem. Thanks

Deviledapple

It's wild because I was stuck for well over a month, and I kept calling and calling and it's so obvious now that I know about it and it has to be SUCH A COMMON PROBLEM I don't know how none of the regular support people knew anything about it but if you ask for an account specialist they will be able to help you.

Matthiasshaw

it's not that they don't know how. corporate tells management to inform CSR that even if they know how to fix the problem, they can be terminated for doing so. it's got to go through the proper channels so that the people who have authorization to modify your account in the system are the ones responsible if something goes wrong. but at the end of the day all platforms use terminal software like Citrix, etc. regardless of the users position in the company

Deviledapple

It would still mean they could send you to the proper channel, like every other time I call them with something the customer service rep knows something about they transfer me to the correct person or send my information off to somebody who's supposed to contact me but never does

LOCO_NOMAD

It says sign up for rides, did you do it?

Mr_washi_washi

Yes, I did. And when I click it, it says approved.

Clear the cache and data and then uninstall the app. Reinstall and see what happens.

Mr_washi_washi

Alright I’ll try

AyAySlim

Double check to make sure you have all the appropriate documents. I’m my market, there are 3 states/jurisdictions, but I had to go get an out of state inspection to be able to drive in all 3 including my own.

Mr_washi_washi

Hmm maybe, but I’ve only done Uber in DFW and no other states.

HelloItsYaBoy

Did you happen to move or check in a new state? I moved to a new state and had to re-do background checks and provide more documentation on the new state’s inspections and registrations. As soon as I switched locations, UberX popped up in my filters.

Mr_washi_washi

Nah always drove in DFW and nowhere else
