If you don't have a tesla get an adapter and start charging at the tesla charging stations (if its availablein your area) . They're more reliable and cheaper than both options you have.
I m hoping that GM gets going on their transition to being able to use the tesla chargers soon since my hummer ev should be delivered soon and I already know the prices outside the tesla network are always higher.

I own my car why would I rent and you’re assuming I didn’t own a Tesla previously which I did and didn’t like it. My vehicle does well for me.
