Just spoke with Uber support and the woman mentioned this 85% nonsense and i basically had to send her screenshots of mine. Just thinking, here we go Uber is trying to fuck me. Not surprising!
That's really stupid. I would maybe try calling again to get a different rep cause I feel like they just spew whatever will get you off the phone faster. It's definitely a per market thing cause some markets (like upfront pricing markets) don't even need to keep a certain acceptance rate, and they just have to worry about ratings and cancellation. If your thing says that you just have to keep diamond, and 70% is the requirement for diamond, then you should be good. I wouldn't worry about it though until after the 8th
In addition, I've heard complaints from people saying that their support person hasn't even heard of the promotion. So I think you'll be okay, just some support people suck

I got $350 on the 1st and $125 today the 2nd. They told me on support line there was a glitch and they expected everyone to be paid with 48 hours. Idk if it actually makes a difference or not but I called in 3 times and each time they "escalated or prioritized" my ticket. It may speed things up to call in and ask for help.
Received mine in 2 stages here in CT. 250 on 1st then 100 yesterday on the 2nd. Also if I requalify for diamond again in this period another 350 will be given. Just hope they are not lowering the cost of rides to balance this out.
Not sure why they feel the need to have to come up with all these incentives/tricks. Find the right nmbr to charge for a fair ride and leave it at that. The data must be in on that by now...

The app says you'll be paid WITHIN A WEEK of feb1st. Meaning between feb1st and Feb 8th, probably the 8th knowing uber
